The location by the river, amazing view and room was spacious and fresh.

Restaurant is a joke, you never know if you can get food or not. Because they cater for many side functions, even if you are a guest and there are many vacant tables they will not take you. When they do, the food is good. The attitude is really regrettable. Waiters during breakfast prefer to set the tables for a la carte service three hours later than to look after guests. All in all, it is a very strange attitude for a hotel restaurant. They close before the announced hours for breakfast, dinner and room service. Very poor customer service in general but some of the staff were very helpful in trying to make up for that. They do need some reorganization regarding restaurant/catering. It is not reasonable that guests are not advised beforehand about these limitations.

The hotel is very clean with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are well equiped with modern furniture. They are very quiet. The hotel is on the banks of the Rhine with spectacular river views that are visible from the dining room. There is parking available on-site. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the centre of town The hotel restaurant is excellent both in terms of quality and of price - but pre-booking is advised. The breakfast is excellent both in terms of quantity and variety

The bathroom is small and while fully equiped is cramped. There is no lift from reception down to the dining rooms and restaurant - one must take the stairs. There is no lift from the underground garage so one must unload heavy suitcases before parking.

The hotel was in a good location and had a lovely view of the river. The breakfast was adequate though there could have been more of a variety and labels.

The bedroom was very basic. The bathroom door had a hole in it. The water in the room was not replenished. The staff could have told us that the Bonn marathon was taking place on our day of departure and given us information as to where to meet our taxi taking us to the airport, as the taxi could not come anywhere near to the hotel. This forward thinking and initiative would have been useful.

The Ameron's facilities are up-to-date, functional and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is exceptional, and the location is within easy walking distance of the city center and its sites (the Beethovenhaus, Muenster, Arithmeum, etc.). It's an excellent refuge, but you shouldn't expect old-world character and ambience: it's basically an anodyne modern hotel with a few individual touches, such as, in the public spaces, large-scale portraits of notable Germans done via superposed texts.

There was nothing not to like: a fine but not notably memorable accommodation, at a price meeting the norm for an international hotel.

The staff was first class. Amenities extended to a glass of warm milk and honey at bedtime and “sleep spray” for pillows. The list is lengthy. Our view of the Rhine from our room was spectacular.

The elevator feels like you’ve just been put in a jail cell, and doesn’t extend to the restaurant level. There is massive and suggestive graffiti on the retaining wall below the hotel and the river pathway. If one judged the hotel by its appearance from that standpoint, it would be a huge turnoff.

Friendly and easy check-in at the reception. A very clean room and bathroom. Comfortable firm bed. Large TV, nice view on the Rhine river, passing boats and the Siebengebirge. Nescafe machine, minibar and locker available. Direct access to the Rheinuferpromenade at the back of the hotel using stairways. Breakfast was great. All options of food and drinks were available and refilled fast by the f&b team. Plenty of car parking in the garage is available. 5 minutes walk to the city center via the hofgarten. Will return at the Ameron hotel for another stay in Bonn. I hope my photos will give you a good impression of the room (room 110).

Very nice hotel next to the river, with modern rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was good, offering lots of choices.

I liked my room but the bed was not really comfy. I don't know what it was. Maybe it was the tiny blanket, maybe the cushions. This is very subjective and is the only negative thing that I experienced during my 5 nights stay.

Perfect location right on the Rhein bank and very close to the city center. Great terraces overlooking the river, just made to have a coffee in the morning or a glass of white wine in the evening. Clean and comfortable rooms with a well functioning AC (at least where available - we had it), which is quite likely to be needed in summer days. Having the underground garage of the hotel is also a big advantage, although you cannot reserve a place and there is always a bit of a thrill whether you will be lucky enough (fortunately we were).

Nothing really to complain, just remarks. You better use the "not disturb" sign, otherwise the staff is ready to enter for cleaning at 8.30 a.m. The garage is a bit narrow and somethimes a challenge to cope properly. No garage lift, if you have to "dive" into the third underground level, but this is stated in advance. Extra parking charge should also be noted, even if quite standard for German reality. The hotel restaurant is limited on space (= likely to be full) and somewhat overrated for its rather not too impressive Italian menu.

Very close tot the city center in a really quiet area right next tot the Rhine river. The room was spacious and comfortable. Many towels at hand in the bathroom and aromatic shampoo. Large parking facilities above and underground.

The hair dryer needs to be replaced, not powerful and stops working at times. Shower doors do not close well, making the water leak into the floor.

Perfect location and comfortable stay, on booking I noted that the parking was going to be an issue, I got in touch and given reassurance as my husband had some mobility issues they would try and reserve a space. I wasn’t disappointed, on arrival a cone had been placed ensuring we had a space, we would like to thank the staff as this made such a difference being able to park close Fantastic staff very friendly and helpful 10 out 10
