The place is well maintained and secured. It is good that the door downstairs has a passcode for the safety of the guests. The area is convenient especially it's walking distance to nearby landmarks and food establishments. I like the ambiance and size of the room. It is good that the room has its own sink and mini refrigerator. The room in this hostel have a better privacy compare to the other hostels. The lobby staff and the cleaning staff are friendly and accomodating to the guests. For my week stay I enjoyed it and felt comfortable because it feels like my personal room from my home.

The building has no elevator so it's a hassle for the guests who have large luggage to bringing it upstairs. The keys and doors for the shared bath room and toilet room are confusing especially that sometimes it's working and sometimes it can not be open despite that there is no person inside using it. I hope you could just use a better doorknobs for your bath rooms and toilet rooms so it will not difficult for the guests to used it.

The location is fine. Slightly more than a 10-minute walk from Hauptbanhof but close enough to the old town. There are plenty of dining options nearby but supermarkets can be a bit further. The staff are very friendly and the bathroom is clean.

The front desk is not open between about 11:00 and 3:00, so for people who need to store their luggage there can be a bit of problem. But it can be avoided with some planning.

My stay was short but comfortable. I arrived at night as my plane landed at 1 am and the staff arranged for me a self check in. The staff is nice and gave me some tips on what to see in the city.

It’s an old building with small stairs and some creaking floors. If someone comes with a big suitcase they will struggle to carry it up the stairs as there is no lift.

Booking.com missed my booking (which was confirmed on my end) so the hostel was not expecting me when I turned up on a rainy evening. The staff was very kind to give me a better room at the same price for the 2 nights I booked for. Location is great as it is near the main shopping areas and walking distance to the Bonn main station. The shared toilet (for single rooms) are very clean and there are wash basins in the single rooms.

There is only one charging point in the room. There are no lifts so be prepared to lug your luggage. The pillow in the room should be replaced, it looked really bent out of shape and is too soft to provide any form of support.

The location is great. The rooms are clean and cozy. The manager (Alexandra) is really kind and respectful. There is a cafe on the ground floor where you can have breakfast and drinks. The sheets and towels are really clean.

Nothing irritated me during my stay in the hostel. If you have no problem with climbing the stairs for 1 or 2 floors, and if you are not sensitive to the very low sound of the beds (while people move during the night), then you'll be enjoying your stay to the most in this hostel.

The hostel is located very close to the important transport links, such as the Hauptbahnhof and the Busbahnhof, which is a major advantage. The staff was very friendly and I really enjoyed the breakfast.

The breakfast could be included as part of the room booking, but I guess that doesn't help the overheads of a small hostel.

It's very well located. The room has a water boiler (but no tea/coffee), a small fridge, and a mirror/sink. I think you get a good price for what you get.

The check in slot of only 4 hrs is very short, if you want to check in in the evening it's not possible after 8pm. It's highly unusual and can be quite inconvenient. There was no towel provided in the private room. The walls are very very thin, you'll hear any sound.

I booked the single room with shared bathroom. It was functional & had desk, mini refrigerator, kettle, lamp, shelves, sink, large window with curtains. The bathroom was across the hallway. Near bus stop & tram to get to main train station/hauptbahnhof. Walking distance to town center. There was a bio market/organic grocery a block away and places to eat nearby. Front building door was locked for security & guests had access code.

No elevators. Someone was smoking & I could smell it in the hallway. Communal area downstairs had limited hours. Squeaky floors & stairs.

Breakfast was downstairs and convenient before leaving for day activities; Staff was nice and helpful - Could leave a bag the day of departure The place is neat and tidy

- Safety of electricity is outdated and needs to be improved promptly: plug socket for 2 people needs to be replaced and fixed on the wall following European construction standards - Slow wifi

The hostel was very welcoming! I asked to change to a women's room at the last minute and they were able to fulfill my request without any problems.

I would have liked to know beforehand how many floors the building has, as you need to use the stairs. The rooms are on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor. If I knew beforehand I might have asked for a lower floor.
