I choose NOT to avail of the breakfast -- but only because I found myself eating MORE THAN I SHOULD at the self service facilities available at the other hotel I 'd stayed at in Wetzlar. The breakfast, at just 12 EURO PER HERAD PER MORNING still represents GREAT VALUE for money as far as expenditure is concerned. Germany is NOT CHEAP -- It's an affluent locale and money HAS TO BE SPENT, from the expensive transport costs, to buying food in the shops. All in all, the GREET HOTEL represents VERY GOOD VALUE for money, for a city of comparable size to Darmstadt. Having the BBC on the TV was a great advantage -- I could keep pace with developments on the world stage, as I hadn't brought my own internet access with me (my mobile is a very simple one and has no internet access). There is a small supermarket within 20 minutes walking distance of the hotel, which was great if, like me, you decide to buy your own food.

I wish the hotel was a little closer to the city centre and railway station, but it wasn't -- but that is not something the hotel is responsible for. Again, I had taught that the blankets / coverings on my bed were insufficient -- but the hotels heating meant I actually felt TOO WARM at night, rather than too cold

Though not realy central, for me the location was good as I had a bike and was visiting friends in different parts of the city. As there is a big parking lot it would also be convenient with car but not sure how transport to the city is. The public spaces were good for chilling around when returning in the late evenings.

The breakfast was a bit basic for 12 € but ok. The room was not huge but I think the fitness room could be used e.g. for yoga so it was ok. A kettle would have been nice and the shower ist not well sealed so despite only having a short shower the bathroom floor would have been wet had I not layer out a towel.

The hotel has a very fancy interior design, multiple facilities such as common working spaces, bar, board games are available. The room was cosy, with all described items being provided. It seems to place importance on sustainability.

At the beginning, there were some problems with my reservation, but the staff managed to solve it quickly. The Wi-Fi connection was a bit unstable. The location was quite outside the center, but not far away from the railway station.

It was a really neat place, with helpful personnel. The lobby decor appealed especially to me. The pool table and the fußball table are really nice attractions, unfortunately I had no one to play with. Only thing I was a bit disappointed - and I say this with complete humour - was the Atari console that is fake and used only as decoration. The room was good for one person, quite comfortable.

If I could make one suggestion, that would be that I'd like to see a bit bigger variety in the breakfast buffet. It was good, but I think that if pancakes and omelette or fried eggs were added, it would be top.

Great staff and wonderful to get in a round of a game of pool before bed. It's fantastic business area with some giants in tech surrounding the area. Great forest for a morning run a you can walk to town in a matter of 30mins. Great games downstairs to play which added something extra to the stay for sure Lovely staff And as always good ACCOR trademark cleanliness

I would have loved a coffee/tea in the room and for sure missed that. Location worked for me but if you want to be right in city center then this is not the hotel. Its lovely near a forest though

The hotel has a great vibe and we loved our short stay there! Our room was spacious (2 rooms) and comfortable. There's a beautiful garden in the back with places to sit and a small football pitch. The common area was very much alive in the evening, with DJ and food and drinks. The breakfast was reasonably priced and had a decent number of options. We've already booked another stay here on our way back from holidays :-)

A perfect stay especially with dogs - I saw 3 other people with dogs too. Room and bed were super comfortable, shower was great etc. For dog people: there's a large area of grass outside that is really useful, and there's also a long forest walk nearby. I will definitely stay again when visiting friends, and use more facilities!

I like that this hotel is simple, comfy, easy and super great for money. Also my office is just 5 mins walk. And city center is around 20 mins, super great to have a small walk after office hours.

Sometimes I need a laundry service, and there is no. But hotel has washing machines, dryers and iron and a board. So I managed my shirts. :-)

Giant hotel that has good parking (they didn't charge me). I had a huge hotel room for my 3 children and me. There was a large balcony. The nighttime front desk worker spoke great English and tried everything he could to help me. Excellent experience. Wasn't expensive, either.

Only how far it was to the room. No complimentary breakfast.

To pay for parking is very concerning, it should be included in the room charge! It was confusing that the person at the reception was also in charge of food, very unusual, It caused waiting time!
