My husband had a conference at the Messe, so that was easy for him to get to. He took an Uber the first two days but actually walked back the last and said it was not a problem. While he worked, my Mom and I toured Frankfurt and it was really easy to get to Romer - just 4 stops on the tram (#11) or we walked it one night which was only 20 minutes. The hotel itself was perfect for our needs and they booked our room across the hall from my Mom which was really important to me as this was her first time out of the country.

The location itself is ok - but 2 blocks toward the train station it is very seedy. There alot of people on the street doing/dealing drugs? Not sure but they did tend to stay to themselves as we walked past and didn't bother us. We felt safe while at the hotel so that part of it was not a problem.

Very nice, spacious and modern, comfortable room on 8th floor, very nice bathroom, excellent breakfast with amazing choice in the buffet, location very convenient - close to the station and quite close to the centre.

Unlike Le Méridien in Vienna, there was no coffee machine and, although a kettle was provided in my room, there were no cups or tea bags. When I asked about this at reception, I was told they no longer did this. He showed me where I could get cups and tea bags from a place in reception. I don't understand this. Why provide a kettle then make you go down to reception to get cups etc? I found the entrance lobby rather gloomy. Staff were fairly friendly and helpful but not as much as in Vienna.

Loved the quiet comfort of the hotel room. Got a free room upgrade and an hour of delayed checkout courtesy Mr. Brett. The hotel is at walking distance from the central train station of Frankfurt (for direct trains and busses to the airport). The front desk staff with Laura, Brett, and Loussiana were extremely helpful and polite.

The hotel can mention about the mandatory security deposit they charge on credit card and NOT CASH (refunded in a week) on booking.com so that guests come prepared. The front entrance of the hotel is not wheelchair friendly. Bathrooms can be made senior citizen friendly by putting an anti slippery mat and a plastic chair for support.

Fantastic staff, very friendly, food was great especially breakfast. Great location near the Franfurt train station. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Renovation is going on and it was confusing and not easy to find the hotel entrance. Room is a little small, not much space to walk and corridor too narrow to put my room service tray as I didn't like to have it take up all the table space in the room.

My room in the old section was very charming and had a nice view out two (openable) windows. There were some signs of wear on the curtains but nothing major. Breakfast was a nice combo of American style eggs and bacon + German bread and meats. I appreciated that they had North American style bedding (and not German duvets and giant square pillows).

It's very close to the train central station train station but the neighbourhood around the train station is a bit rough. Some people might find it off-putting but I doubt it's dangerous.

We paid for breakfast on one of the days and it was well worth the money. The location was fantastic - just far enough from the train station to be quiet and peaceful. Our room was large, clean and very pretty - I was so happy with this choice. Also, a few of the local tours pick up from this hotel which was helpful.

The air conditioner didn't work very well - I believe this is quite normal in Europe, but for two Americans we were a bit overwhelmed by the heat.

Very comfortable beds. Tasty breakfasts and Illy coffee (you get a voucher for a free coffee during your stay). Very good location in the city center. I also liked the rain shower in the bathroom a lot. Special thanks to Ms Monika Patyna who helped to solve my issue at the reception. It's not our first and for sure not the last stay at this hotel.

Unfortunately, the reception is understaffed and seemed undertrained too, so the service is slow and time-consuming. No bell boy to help you with your luggage or taxi, you have to wait in a queue to the reception for that. It's not OK for 5* hotel.

The hotel was close to the Central Train Station, with a short walk to the historical centre of town. The hotel was modern and clean, with excellent amenities. The bar was lovely, with an abundant drinks menu. We were offered champagne as we checked in and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the pillow was perfect. We absolutely would stay here again.

The lighting in the rooms is a little dark (mood lighting).

I'm sure he didn't intend to mislead but when I asked for a non-tourist, local, no foreigner restaurant, I was sent to the very touristy central historic square! I heard no German being spoken, but a lot of Japanese and English!

I had booked the second best category of room in the hotel. But when I entered, the room was so smelly, that they had to assign another one immediately. That also had a heavy air of suffocation and less of a foul smell , as if it wasn't used for quite sometime. I had to keep the windows ajar for the rest of the day to have some fresh air. The amenities in the room of that level and cost wasn't up to the international standards or Marriott group. Virtually nothing in the toilet except a soap, toilet rolls, and towels. No tooth brush, paste, shaving set, cotton buds, etc....etc....that you usually find in 3 star hotel even. I requested cotton buds and a comb and they promptly delivered but.
