The hotel is geared for business travellers and tourists, which is good. I stayed a few extra days for my daughter to see her friends and enjoyed the comfort of the hotel. The bus station is across the road, and the surrounding neighbourhood is upmarket and quiet. The gym facilities are excellent.

The room was initially not set as a twin as requested, and the receptionist was unhelpful when I asked for help. Fortunately, this was fixed later. I experienced the staff in the Sports Bar to be a little rude. The shuttle bus pricing was quite expensive compared to Uber or taxis.

A lovely place to stay in Frankfurt! There’s a bus station right outside, to the right of the front entrance, that connects you everywhere you need to go whether directly or through other forms of public transport such as the U-Bahn. The room was spacious and kept impeccably clean, with the beds made up daily. I’d had a bad experience in Europe before so was a bit scared the cleanliness wouldn’t be up to par, but I was incredibly comfortable at Royal Hotel Frankfurt! Also the view was stunning both times I stayed (facing the church and the forest the first time, and the city the second time). Not to mention, staff were very friendly, helpful, and always available when you need them. Will definitely be my top choice hotel the next time I come to Frankfurt!

Great views, as long as you get a room facing the Frankfurt skyline. We got the best view of all and were able to see the whole skyline clearly, from east to west. Rooms were comfortable, fresh and clean, the Internet was fast, the staff were helpful. Location is quite a bit out of town, but there's a bus stop outside that takes you to the centre (Konstablewache) in about 15 minutes and it runs about every 10 minutes.

The only thing that I would like to have seen is more care with the balcony. The views are great, but the balcony is just a bit of bare concrete. There's only one seat you can take out there, and it's a swivel chair - not really designed for the space.

The triple rooms were good in terms of size, but the air conditioning was not good in terms of coldness. The breakfast was excellent and varied, and the service was excellent. There is also a market at the gas station near the hotel. I think it is open 24 hours.

The staff is helpful and welcoming and accommodated our early check-in. The room was very comfortable and having a balcony is a plus. Also well laid out. The shower is great and a good size. It's in a good location, within walking distance of the main shops and you can even walk into Frankfurt main if you wish. The bus stops are right outside and the train station is about a 20 min walk or a bus ride.

There were no phones in the room, so cannot get a hold of reception unless you go down. Reception staff did say it was being rectified when we mentioned it and that it was an oversight from when the refurb was done. Our room was part cleaned the whole time we were there. It seemed the cleaner would literally leave the cleaning half done. We reported this to reception and they resolved the matter and were sincerely apologetic. Other than that, it was a lovely stay and it won't put me of the Leonardo hotels.

I had a wonderful stay at Leonardo Royal Hotel. The ambience was clean, calm, and quiet — perfect for a relaxing trip. The hotel looks like it has been recently refurbished, adding a fresh and modern touch to the interiors. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and a special thanks to Mr. Aswin at the reception who was exceptionally helpful and kind. His support made the stay even better. I’ll definitely be choosing this place again for my future travels to Germany!

Full of life, very good food, location, friendly staff, nice gym and sauna, apple and detox water at reception, Hasan Sharafi at reception is the most professional person we interacted with at this hotel. Very efficient and customer friendly and very helpful. He should be given an employee of the year award,if there is any such reward.

Very dirty carpets in main alleyway, corridors and even rooms. Dirty terrace,which seems like it has not been cleaned and washed in months.

The hotel was beautiful, with great facilities and very comfortable rooms. The view from our balcony was great too. It is dog friendly which is a big bonus as we’ve been traveling with 2 dogs. Breakfast had plenty of options and there is on-site parking which is really secure. But the best thing about our stay was the staff. We had a car issue and the staff was so helpful trying to find help for us and translating to German. One of the best stays and help we’ve had and we will definitely save the hotel for next time.
