Very clean showers and toilets, rooms also very clean and neat. Rooms are very small but we were prepared for that though so it was really nice and interesting experience. In the rooms fresh air is coming constantly from the ventilation and there are bluetooth speakers easy to connect with your phone. Rooftop lounge is great for relaxing with friends and not crowded at all. Staff was also amazing, very helpful and cheerful! Special thanks to Moses who welcomed us as a real host but also to Henning and the rest of the crew, keep up the good work guys!

This "Pod" hotel was great. The pods are a good size for both singles and couples and well laid out. Shared bathrooms are excellent and there was no waiting time to use them. There's a roof-top lounge (indoor-outdoor) which was very comfortable and sunny. Breakfast (German) was good and there was also alternatives (British?) very close by in the local square. No laundry facilities at the hotel but thre was a laundromat very close. The hotel is only minutes away from the train station and also access to the shopping precincts which inturn lead to the historic areas of Hamburg.

The locality is very close to the main train station (Haupt Banhof) and therefore tends to have a 'messy nature'. The area is still a safe multi cultural precinct with an eclectic community.

Loved the whole vibe of Cab20, simply designed rooms were perfect for what we needed. Staff were super helpful and friendly too. Bathroom/shower area was great, loads of showers and sinks so you didn't have to wait for the rush to die down in the morning. Bed was comfy. Luggage lockers were needed and provided for our large suitcase. Although we didn't try the food the menu looked great.

The only downside was the area you have to walk through to get to Cab20, didn't feel safe until we were actually at the hostel, we had to find a route around the street that lead straight from the station as it wasn't passable due to numerous homeless, drug/drunk induced people wandering around, beating each other up etc etc. Love the hostel but I'd love to move it to a nicer area.

The room is spacious and private, it has Bluetooth speakers, the bathrooms are clean, and the staff is friendly.

The showers are in the basement, so you have to take the elevator and you may encounter people entering the hotel, the area where it is located is quite intimidating as it is close to the bus and train stations.

Super comfy bed. Super clean. The air in the room is very fresh.

Just a note: The room is basically just a bed. The space for standing is extremely small (c. 3 square meters). This is good for backpackers, but I went with two suitcases. After putting two suitcases in my room, I can barely enter my room... probably put a warning on the booking website. It's hard to notice it from the photos. It's also unfortunate that the hotel doesn't have a recycling system - no sorting bins, etc. This is kind of a shame for a German hotel... : (

The hotel was super clean and really well-maintained, which is always a win. The staff were also absolute icons, so friendly and welcoming. Plus, the location, while a little sketchy, was super convenient being right by the train station. Gold stars all around.

Some things were just a little too high for someone who's 159cm. The bed was practically a mountain, I barely managed to get onto it with the side step. I felt like a fun-sized person in a king-sized world, definitely not built for shorties. The neighborhood felt a bit sketchy too, but nothing too alarming, just a little more gritty than I expected.

It was very modern and clean. The facilities were in excellent condition. It was quite a fun/unique place to stay.

I wish there was a few inches more space at the foot of the bed. The worst thing was the area. There are quite a few people nearby with substance abuse issues and I felt a bit nervous a couple of times walking back . I tried to ask the staff about how risky it is walking home but they didn't seem to understand the question or offer any advice. I think they could improve on that - particularly for female solo travels. However I would say that it's only ten minutes walk from the central train station and if you stay on the main road that runs parallel to the road the hotel is on, it's pretty busy - there are a lot of people around. I didn't have any problems. I think solo travellers should be careful though.

I’m a repeat customer having stayed cab 20 many times now. I mix up my hotel accommodation staying 4-5 star as well as more quirky, boutique and cabin too or should I say Cab20. Variety is the spice of life and Cab20 “does exactly what it says on the tin”.

St George area Hamburg has become an international hub of all types of people - which I love. But, not for the family or faint hearted with a less desirable element growing and contingent of beggars, hookers, and druggies taking over somewhat. It is taking a toll on the beautiful architecture and city that I have grown to love. Enough said…

The property was really good, modern and the staff was super helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, bathroom and showers clean as well. Overall a comfortable stay for a few days, because the rooms are cabins.

Although it's not the property's fault, the location was not good, I would not recommend for women travelling solo. To my surprise the area around St. Georg has a prostitution and drug scenery, on the smaller streets there are many man standing in the streets during the night. I tried to use the main avenue when going to the hotel and avoided coming back late at night.

We liked this hotel so much! The beds were super comfy and the room was very clean. Okay the room was small, but you know that’s what we signed up for. Nevertheless, the common areas really made up for it. The staff was nice, and so was the 24/7 bar with decent prices! For the amount we paid for this hotel, I did not mind sharing bathrooms and toilets as there were plenty to go around and they were well maintained and offered a lot of privacy. Another thing I liked was the overall feel of the hotel, it felt like a little village in a futuristic spaceship. We will come back whenever we’re in Hamburg!

The area in which the hotel is in, is a bit sketchy at night. But it never felt unsafe.
