Very comfortable, suitable, clean room, newly furnished, with comfortable bed, table, and very good bathroom. Everything was favorable, having you feel at home. Check in, when the machine works, is straightforward and practical. Reception across the street are friendly and helpful in case of any issues. Wifi is very good, and location is excellent with many many restaurants in immediate vicinity, including fish restaurants and ones with lunch buffets. Also many shops, cafes etc. The Central Station is within 3 - 5 minute walk.

There are only stairs, but no elevator. However, the staircase hall is comfortable, and if you see the climb as free daily sport, it is actually positive.

The room was nice and clean. Security/safety was good. Reasonably close to the central station which was beneficial since i needed to leave from there as well. There were food options nearby 24x7. The receptionist was friendly and helpful when guiding me through the check in which had a little hiccup.

This one is a bit tricky but maybe i needed to be more attentive. As the hotel has several buildings with the same name in the same street it is important to check the address and not the name. The issue was solved with a call and the friendly receptionist guided me to the correct building and check in. The area outside though bustling with activity just requires you to be a bit more vigilant about your belongings and stuff. However this is for everywhere but just be a bit extra vigilant.

Easy, staff-less check-in using a machine to get your key-card. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom had a nice shower, toilet and a hair dryer, so basically everything you need. Amazing price for how close it is to the city center.

Could hear a lot of noise from the street, as it was very busy through the whole night. Could be a problem for light sleepers. The location felt a bit unsafe after dark, especially for solo female travellers. I was a solo guy and didn't have any problems and never felt threatened, but maybe it could be different on another day. To sum up - basically the hotel is located in Middle East.

A really good value for money hotel. Comfortable, spacious, modern rooms, comfortable bed, desk, good view outside. Bathrooms on the nice corridor space works quite well, with a suite of supplementary 3 - 4 including showers adjacent to the main one. Good central location at Steindamm in the middle of all shops, restaurants, cafes, amusement etc. Within 3 - 5 minutes of main train station. Good wifi, very friendly Receptionists. Ein prima Hotel mit sehr gutem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, in zentraler Lage, mit komfortablen, modernen Zimmern.

Elevator to 5th floor was not working, access to a kettle/water boiler would have been good

Comfy beds, clean, daily housekeeping and friendly staff. The location can be blessing and curse at the same time. Plenty of wonderful Middle Eastern restaurants, bakeries and grocers about, very central but incredibly dodgy with a drug problem with loads of beggars, drug dealers etc about. However, the building itself was safe and monitored.

There was no kettle, the lift didn’t seem to work and little restrictive check-in time especially for international travellers.

The room was clean. It was cleaned daily with fresh towels each day. The check in process was a bit inconvenient, as we arrived at a given address, were told to go to the opposite side of the street, and there, after the check-in, we were ordered to go to a yet another location, I.e. our room. The room was on the fifth floor without an elevator. Luckily, we were travelling light, so it was not a big deal, but if we had a bigger luggage, it wouldn't be so easy. The location is on the hand quite convenient, close to the bus and train stations, U-bahn and buses. It is easy to find food nearby, shops and restaurants, and minmsarkets, grocers, and fast food. Whatever you wish. But it is not a place for a family or the weak-of-heart, as it is dodgy. If you are easily disturbed by poverty, drug addiction, and prostitution, Steindamm is not the place you want to see. If you don't mind and want a cheap stay in a well connected and well equipped location, you are in for a treat.

It was very modern and clean, felt safe when inside, close to the train station and attractions. Beds were very comfortable. Everything you need for a short stay.

The location was a bit rough and grotty lots of traffic and shouting from people gathering across the road. Not sure it’s too safe late at night for a solo female, plenty of places to stock up so you can stay in. Was ok when the windows were shut, not the properties fault. No fridge, ok if you’re not staying longer than 1 night.

Cigarette smoke in bathroom, very thin walls, neighbour's partying, yelling, loud TV, banging doors...this is the problem when there is no staff on site to monitor behaviour.. The check-in machine was not easy ...several of us were stuck with having to restart the process. Perhaps the machine needs a re-boot.

If you need to stay close to the train or bus station - it’s a perfect hotel for it. But don’t forget what you can expect from the area around the stations - homeless, drunk and drugged people. As I understand there is a “chain” of these hotels, so probably your room will be in a different building, so be ready for it and just read all the letters and confirmations with the exact addresses. Everything will be sent to you.

Very convenient location close to the main bus and train stations. Room was very comfortable and clean with all the necessities required 😊

As my room was located at the front of the building the outdoor noise could be heard, especially the business next door where there seems to be talking all night. Despite this it did not disrupt my sleep.
