Hello, After booking I was really scared to see others reviews but when I went there and stayed Astoria Hotel,I was surprised that I have found all the facilities. The room was quite big with shower gel,tissus ,hairdryer,towels.The staffs were friendly and helpful.The breakfast was included and hot milk/water for baby was provided when I asked.We were really enjoyed our stay.The location was excellent.Without change you can go to see visiting places.Lots of diffrent restaurants are just nearby.Thanks à lot Astoria Hôtel.Wish you all the best. We stayed for 2 days in Hamburg and we were really surprised by the cleanliness and location of the hotel. The apartments in Hamburg are very expensive, so it was a luck to find such a good hotel for a pretty cheap price. I’ve read feedback from other guests that the area is not safe, but I can’t say so. In Hamburg live a lot of migrants, but this fact doesn’t make the city unsafe for citizens and tourists. The location is brilliant, very close to the center. The room is spacious too. We enjoyed our stay. So location, room, cleanliness, breakfast, hotel workers, everything was perfect!

The room was light, spacious, clean, and had a very comfortable King size bed. Friendly reception who were able to store our luggage before check-in. Included breakfast was basic continental but tasty.

The shower didn't drain very well at all (room 16). Had to keep stopping while showering to allow time for water to drain. Shower curtain was a nuisance and didn't help with trying not to flood. Could hear other occupants quite easily.

Super friendly and welcoming staff. Nice breakfast included with two rooms for eating. Lots of space. The room was very clean and comfortable. Good size , very clean bathroom. A short walk to the Hbf. Very central for public transport

It’s unfortunate that the hotel is at the edge of a very seedy area. You walk past lots of addicts, alcoholics and suspect looking people just hanging out on the street. As a male, I never felt threatened but women might feel uncomfortable walking alone at night.

Very friendly staff and overall a decent experience. I had a room under the roof which was clean and functional with a wardrobe and adequately sized bathroom. Breakfast was also a small but nice buffet. The central location was a big plus for me

There were no blinds on the window and the last floor was only accessible via stairs, so not ideal for heavy luggage, but the staff also offered to help if needed, so not a big problem in the end.

The room was clean, toiletries were provided. There was a working TV and staff provided a fan upon request. I was able to borrow an iron. Staff were really helpful. I hurt my ankle during my time in Hamburg, and they lent me icepacks so I could ice the injury. The breakfast was a typical German breakfast of bread rolls, meat, cheese, yogurt, cereals, boiled eggs, coffee and tea.

The bathroom was small, so it was a bit of a tight squeeze.

It felt as if a large investment has been made in this hotel and it has resulted in a very comfortable and refreshing place to stay. The secure parking facility was very welcome.

The location was a little intimidating to begin with as the area does have inner city social issues but this does not reflect on the hotel.

Location is not the best part of Hamburg but that's not the hotel's fault. The hotel itself is in a nice old building with modernized amenities. Rooms are nicely equipped and furnished with everything needed for a good night's sleep. Breakfast included is up to snuff compared to other hotel's breakfasts. 24-hour check-in works great, just a 5-minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof.

Receptionist could be a tad more friendly; still, he was business-like, fair, polite and helpful.

Room was quite tidy. Breakfast good but it was every day the same. Location is quite good, since it is a few minutes away from the Hauptbahnhof.

The area was a bit sketchy at times, I think I saw prostitution and drugs near the property.

The hotel is based within walking distance of the main train station in Hamburg and also has a nearby underground station. A variety of takeaways, restaurants and a Lidl supermarket are within walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast is ok and has all essentials for a good start to the day. WiFi is good and is really fast. Rooms are good for one person although the toilet that I was staying was too small. I had to squeeze and sit on the toilet.
