This hotel and the room is suitable for a short stay. The room was tidy with comfortable beds. Location was great for exploring Hamburg by foot: just a ten minute walk from the station and about 15 minute walk to the city center. Breakfast included pastries, bread, cold cuts, fruits, cereal, yogurt, warm foods and coffee, tea, juices.

One morning the hotel’s general fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate the building. The whole situation was bit unclear to everyone since we weren’t checked or counted outside, there wasn’t anyone telling anything about what is happening or when we could go back inside. Otherwise no complaints!

Location is not bad. 2-min walk to metro and 6-7 min to city center. Ibis has a good standard wherever you go, so they generally do not have bad surprises.

So, when it comes to price, this hotel is not cheaper than the other hotels around. I paid 140 euros per night. We can not say it is a budget friendly hotel. In spite of this fact, they still charge you 2 euros only for storing luggage after check-out. Normally this service is given free of charge even by low-cost hostels. I hate that huge brands like İbis still try to rip you off with little moneys.

The Ibis offers a prime location – its biggest asset being just 500 meters from the Hamberg Hbf. As with other Ibis hotels, the breakfast is consistently good, providing a reliable and tasty start to the day. The staff and service were excellent; they were friendly, efficient, and truly a highlight of the stay.

However, the WiFi was a significant weak spot. The connection was frustratingly slow and unreliable, which was a major drawback

Location is good for exploring the city. It is within walking distance to main attractions and well connected with public transport. The room was clean and cozy. The Internet was working well.

In the room, you could hear the noise coming from the road in front of the hotel. Not enough space for your clothes. Small room. No English/Italian TV channels. The luggage deposit was not free of charge, as it is in most hotels. The bed was comfortable, but there were no additional pillows.

The hotel was clean, the room was spacious enough for two people, there is a subway station 2 mins away from which you can reach the city center in 10 mins. I used nearby street parking for 10 EUR per day, the hotel underground parking is not always free and costs 16 EUR. Staff was very friendly, provided all necessary information and guidance, even helped deliver an item which I forgot in the room when checking out. The room was quiet, it was towards the back of the hotel, however the walls between the rooms are not that solid and you could hear noise from the other room, so soundproofing is not at its best, but it wasn't that critical.

Great location although Google maps had me walk direct out of the HBF and THROUGH a building (post office I think) behind the hotel instead of just around the main road and under the rail bridge. Friendly staff, very clean presentation all round and like other Ibis hotels Ive stayed at around the world

The aircon was fixed so the room was quite hot and opening the window meant the traffic noise was incredibly loud all night.

The only thing I don't like is that there is no ability to. Are a hot drink in your room. If tou want anything to drink, it always costs money. The beds are comfy, the shower was awesome! Great pressure and temperature, one of the best showers on our 4 month long trip. Great central location

Having to pay for motorbike parking. This is the first time we have been charged full price, the same as a car and we generally don't even use an actual parking space, we make use of space that is not designated for cars. And ar 16 euros, it was one of the most expensive places for parking. The hairdryer in pur room was broken and if you used it for just a few seconds (Rm 129) it smelt like burning electrical wiring and not very safe.

I liked the location and was staying in the neighbouring Ibis budget on another trip in Hamburg. There is a small difference in the comfort, service and interior decoration. But you can choose both hotels. The location is nice. I liked to be near the "Speicherstadt" and not to be far away from the "St. Pauli Landungsbrücken", the main train station or the inner city. On my business stays in Hamburg, I would prefer this hotel. I could store my suitcase in a separate locker, what was very nice. In other hotels, they sometimes offer just a room, where everybody can go inside.

There is nothing to dislike. If you blame the pricing of beer at the bar, than you shouldn't come to Hamburg. I just dislike the underground station "Steinstrasse". So I prefered to walk.

Good location and breakfast. Comfortable hotel.

The staff couldn't find us an iron for a day. Very early in the morning called on the phone to call a taxi, although we did not order. The food needs to be updated more often during breakfast because we don't have to wait for someone to bring something. Registration could be online instead of paper - we have to be sustainable.

The location of the hotel was very convienent - near to the city centre. While we were there, a woman experienced a serious accident. C. Ozpolat helped her a lot and called the emergency immediately. We waited until the ambulance has arrived, the other staff did not take it seriously as he did. Special thanks to him!

The towels were not changed during our stay.
