This is a great hotel for children. Our son loved the play areas and the big lobby sofas. The breakfast was nice, maybe not great but quiet good compared to other hotels. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Rooms are big enough and the toilet is really clean. The parking is very easy to find, with direct elevator and enough spaces even if the hotel is full. Overall it was a very good stay.

The location is not as good as it looks. The bed sofa is - as it happens usually - not very confortable. When there was some wind, you could fill the air comes into the room by the windows, the isolation is not perfect.

Really comfy bed, lovely shower, and helpful staff. Great location meters from an U-bahn station. Excellent place for families with children as there are some fantastic play areas.

The Aircon doesn't really work so the room was way too hot. We had a problem after the first night in our original room as the window sensor was broken so the Aircon turned off. They were fantastic and gave us a new room. The Aircon in the new room was as ineffective at cooling the room as the old one, so this wasn't an isolated issue.

I travelled with a disabled father and the hotel really is focused on families, disabled and even animals. It’s located close to a U Bahn 3 stops from the main station. The place was spacious throughout. Breakfast was also great with lots of regional produce

Our receptionist were friendly but appeared a bit overworked. I completed the pre check info and was just handed a iPad at check in again to complete info again which was really a waste of time. Another thing that really upset us was that we asked to have a taxi pre booked at 1 pm for the Euro game to take my disabled father to the stadium. They have not done it and no taxi was available which resulted a lot of stress for my father. In the evening when lots of people still checked in there was only one receptionist which was too little

The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. There's a metro station virtually outside the door which made getting around Hamburg a breeze. The onsite restaurant served buffet breakfast and dinner both of which offered an excellent variety including excellent vegetarian options. There is also a bar that has a balcony overlooking the Elbe which was an excellent place to sit and relax after a busy day sightseeing. The in-house WiFi is excellent.

The room featured a separate toilet and shower but for some reason there's no washbasin in the toilet so you still have to go into the bathroom. Also they provide a kettle in room and instant coffee and tea bags, but only enough supplies for 2 cups of coffee which felt a bit mean. Also there's no power point in coffee making area so you have to boil the kettle elsewhere in the room.

The stuff was great! Location was excellent too with the U4 Metro a min away. The room was spacious and we appreciated the free water in the fridge. Breakfast was ok.

Initially we had a couch bed for our teenage daughter but it was rock hard and very uncomfortable to sleep in as we are three very large ppl ! But upon explaining the situation, the amazing receptionist helped us get a different room with real beds ( no sleeper couch). So during our second night we all got good night sleep.

We chose the hotel for the second time because of its good location. The staff is also friendly and speaks good English. Nice breakfast and easy parking.

The impractical layout of the room - the toilet and shower are behind separate doors - was frustrating already on our first visit. The toilet doesn’t have a handwashing sink, so after using the toilet, you need to go through another door to wash your hands.

Good breakfast in buffet style with a wide variety of offerings, the coffee machines could be intimidating. We also enjoyed dinner buffet at the restaurant one night, but we were the only dinner guests for ~1h, kind of sad as the locations and food is good and staff is very friendly. We picked the location due to the location, and were not disappointed. There's also a subway (u-bahn) station right in front of the hotel, or 20min walk to the Hamburg main train stations. Now, this hotel is very family friendly with an indoor playroom and an indoor playground, and two more playgrounds around the the hotel. The large lobby allows to spend time away from the hotel room with multiple seating areas as well.

Hotel parking isn't the cheapest and navigating the garage might be problematic for some drivers with larger cars. Street parking is limited, especially during daytime as there are multiple construction areas around.

The hotel has indoor playground, suitable for age 2+. The bedroom is clean and equipped with basic amenities. Each bedroom has a map of worlds harbour with explanation of it, educational and interesting to read. Very creative design!

1. The corner of furnitures (desk, sink) has sharp edge, this needs to be changed into rounded curve bcs kids can bump into them! 2. When we were playing in the playground, big kids were disrupting the small ones and giving bad examples. You need to ban kids age 7+ to enter the playground to make it safe for the younger kids.

Lovely hotel which we booked for it's child centred facilities. Meal times were made easier by having plastic crockery and small cutlery available. Great breakfast choice and lots of space. The play areas were fantastic, although at 2.5yrs my little was a bit small for the big play area and not so interested in the small area. Room was spacious, clean and staff were friendly and helpful when we asked anything of them. Location was perfect for us as we wanted to be close to Miniatur Wunderland and Hafen City. If you're happy to walk, the main shopping and Christmas markets were only about 30 minutes walk and a relatively direct route. Otherwise there is a U-bahn station right outside the hotel entrance.

The room was perfect for us as a couple, but gave some concerns when putting a 2.5yr old energetic toddler into the mix! The minimalist look was nice, but the bedside tables were small and kept getting picked up and moved. Lovely spacious room, but this meant the toddler wanted to run around lots and the wood flooring meant he was slipping easily. The sofa bed was also a little high and I was worried about him falling out. A travel cot was provided too, but he was a bit big for that. Usually these are things I wouldn't even think about, but facilities take a different spin now. All of that said, this was a wonderful hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to stay on future trips to Hamburg.

We loved the breakfast, the hotel was very relaxing and also very child friendly. The staff were very helpful, at the reception, the bar and the restaurant. Very close to the u bahn.

We had difficulty getting water to drink, only one bottle per room 😞 there were 4 of us. Also the beds seems to have had a plastic protector underneath and they were all a bit too warm, this was fine except that with the lack of water it was tough to sleep at times
