The hotel is in the heart of Heidelberg, in an old building. I was staying in a top floor, so there was a bit of a view too. The room was very clean. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. They do say, that there is a lot of places around that can serve as well, that might suit me better, as breakfast is 10 Eur per person, but what they offer is perfectly adequate and seems to be fresh. It is not a 5 star hotel, so any complains about it feeling dated are just silly. Nothing was broken in the room, it was quiet during the night, the bed was comfortable,there was a desk i could work on, with a working light and I could open the window for some fresh air.

The room did not have a small kettle and cups, so no chance for tea or coffee at any time. This was an oversight of myself, I could have just brought my travel kettle. Also, the Wifi was a bit flickery, which interfered with some of my work. Apart of that, everything is great.

Central for what I wanted to do. Quiet although only 200m from Hauptstrasse.

The question: Bonus question - Coronavirus safety measures: Were social distancing rules followed? is irrelevant as these rules were not in place (except for public transport) when I was there.

the property was located in the City center. Shops,Restaurant and Heidelberg Castle is very near. the hotel is near the Bus station. ☺️ They offer breakfast from 7-10 am i think. self check in.

the curtain is a bit uncomfortable cause we didn't know if people from outside can see us.

Close to Altstadt

Lack of elevator and air conditioning.

It was close to where I had meetings and its close to public transportation.

Location was easy to reach and convenient for getting around. Breakfast was good 👍

There are many stairs and doors, no lift. Not suitable for family with pram.

We did not have breakfast but it seemed like a nice little place

It is a little difficult to park load-unload luggage but it was not a huge deal.

Very comfortable room.

Stairs are an issue with luggage and for an older person
