The proximity to the city centre, the location couldn't have been better. The apartment was well maintained and everything was working perfectly: the heating, the shower, the shutters, the lights, the coffee machine. Onsite parking was a bonus and changes were reasonable. The reception staff were a pleasure to talk to, they were always very friendly and helpful.

Attention to detail that would have made it into a home away from home was lacking in places. A few hooks for kitchen towels and a few in the bathroom would have been useful. I also missed a comfortable sitting area to relax in the evenings and maybe watch TV - for 3 people the apartments only had a double bed and a sofa bed for one, plus 4 rather uncomfortable chairs.

The building is peaceful and in a nice area with greenery and beautiful architecture. The staff was friendly. The room was quite big and hotel style. I liked the cabinet kitchen and the writing table. It's easy to reach the old town, cafes and stores from there. The building has an elevator.

Self-check-in wasn't smooth. There was some mix-up with my booking, so I had to wait outside because I arrived after the reception had closed. I called the emergency number of the place and they got help for me. I got a bigger room because of the mix-up.

The room was great and we enjoyed out two days there

There were issues on our arrival. We were driving and were delayed by traffic jams. The reception had just closed when we got there. The email instructions as to how to get in had not been received by us at that stage. I called the emergency phone number but had great difficulty getting through to someone who could help. He gave us instructions to get in and that was good, but the email which arrived later gave different instructions for a different room and there was confusion about where we were supposed to park the car. The staff on reception the next day were very helpful

Lovely room, well equipped

We presumed we were staying at the address given to us on booking. However, this was just the reception and our accommodation was two roads away. As we had pulled into an alley to use the parking area it was very difficult to get out of the narrow alley with cars behind. A simple message on the correspondence from Boarding House could have avoided this stress after a long drive.

The room was spacious and very clean it had a fan which came in handy. The shower knocks the beer right out of you in the morning, strongest power shower Ive ever used. There is shower gel & soap so you dont have to bring your own. It was a pleasant room all round & the bathroom was very clean. The location is almost perfect to all that Heaidelberg has to offer its within a 15 minute walk of Markplatz in the old town where most of the bars are & the train up to the castle (which is well worth a visit & at 16 euros is very cheap) & its within a 5 minute walk of Bismarkplatz where you can get transport to anywhere in Heidelberg. Overall excellent.

Not much of a complaint in all honesty I was there for 2 nights and the towels werent changed. Not a problem I just draped the towel over the back of a chair & it was bone dry when I came to use again. There was every kind of tea bag and a pod coffee machine but no coffee. Im sure that was just an oversight & both of those issues I could have sorted with reception. So not a complaint

I like the location and the room was nice. It has good natural light and spacious. The mini kitchen is great with fridge, microwave and electric stove. Big closet to store clothes.

The bathroom is a big let down. It has no shower door so you have to sit in the bathtub and still water will splash all around the floor. Very inconvenient since it is necessary to shower. No elevator so we we had to go up 3 floors with heavy luggage.

Just off the city centre (only a short walk), the flat consisted in a large room with a double bed, a sofa bed (we are a family of four) and kitchen facilities and a bathroom. The place was quiet, the beds comfortable. We arrived after check-in time but staff gave us all the information on how to get the card to access our room in advance.

The bathroom didn’t have a shower but a bath where you could shower but water was easily spilled on the bathroom floor. Just for the record: our room was on the second floor with no lift (which was not something of a problem for us, anyway).

The hospitality of the hosts was exceptional and extremely knowledgeable about Heidelberg and could give me a lot of information! I got the chance to get to know them a little better over some snacks and drinks at the connected Italian restaurant. They were also extremely helpful with a few technical difficulties I had with the room. The bed was comfy and the kitchenette and wardrobe were functional and nicely designed. The bathroom was clean and stocked with soap and a 3 in 1 body wash. The kitchenette was also reasonably stocked with utensils, dishes and cutlery. The lighting in the room was also interesting and gave the room personality.

The fridge was tough to work and door between the parking and the corridor to my room would neither close completely nor lock (the parking garage has a key so that only guests and the owners can come through with a keycard so it was not unsafe). The door to the room was secure from the outside but had a mechanism so that even if you've locked it you can still open the door by pushing the handle from the inside. While this is not necessarily a drawback, as a solo female traveller I like to be able to check that the door is locked before sleeping. There was also only thin rather translucent curtains which meant that the sun came in quite early into the room and while it was NOT possible to see into the room from outside, at times the barrier between the room and the outside felt quite thin.

The kitchenette was good and directions to the optional car parking were clear. I was able to make a morning coffee! The table and chairs supplied helped given there were three of us. Easy access to the old part of town, loads of eating out options and supermarkets if you prefer to self cater.

It was too warm in the room, despite the supplied fan and open windows. The room overlooks a main road so was quite noisy in the morning with windows open.

This was probably the best hotel room that i have ever had in my life for that price. It was not only very spacious, clean, quite (despite over looking a main street), its design of lightening is fantastic, and there was a small kitchen desk with an elegant style, including a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, water boiler, glasses, pilates, cutleries etc. The room service provides an iron and slippers. The staff quickly responds to your email queries and help u. The location is very good. It is kind of in the middle between the train station and old historical City. You can reach both in 15 mins. So my room experience was simply fantastic. I loved the room. Highly recommended.

The pillows could be better. The mechanism to use the curtains is old and i could not figure out how to use it.
