This hotel has very good working air conditioning, which is hard to find in Kiel. Nothing was exceptional, but nothing was terrible. The beds were comfortable enough and the room was clean enough for my liking. This hotel does not have a ton of frills, but the location and A/C make it worth booking. I paid more than I would have liked because it was near Kiel Week and a conference, but I would imagine most days this hotel is worth the going rate.

There were not very many towels. The pillows are not very firm and quite lumpy. There is only one type of soap for face, hair, body. There is no lotion.

check out until 12: you can sleep a lot and no worry about anything. location is not bad, a lot of stuff is very close. 15 minutes to the railway station by foot; plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants are in this neigbourhood. I also did not hear any street noise, which is rare. price is reasonable.

the hotel itself is not new, so obviously everything in our room was pretty used. the TV-set is quite useless: no applications, cable TV has 40 channels, almost half of these are the duplicated. and quality is poor.

Room of a sufficient size for a short stay and clean. Very comfortable bed. Despite the central location the hotel was very quiet. Location perfect for going shopping in downtown Kiel, sightseeing, etc. Public transport (various bus routes) just round the corner. Bakeries also very conveniently located nearby. Very handy for going to the food market (Exerzierplatz), Weihnachtsdorf (Christmas village) or International Market during Kiel Week (both of which are located on the square in front of the City Hall) and Christmas Market.

The room did not have a proper wardrobe or a safe. There was just an open rack for hanging clothes in and a few open shelves. Tea/coffee making facilities in room would have been appreciated. Finding a parking space closeby is difficult. All-day parking possible on Exerzierplatz for €10 a day. You need to be careful about which section of the market you park on on market days (Wednesday and Saturday).

Location, friendly staff, big room.

The curtains were not big enough to cover the windows which was a problem day and night. Not enough privacy and darkness. The pillows were waaaay too flat with no alternate options.

This hotel was happy to host 2 Irish International teams for a tournament happening in Kiel that weekend, they went above and beyond to host our needs. The breakfast they provided for 36 hungry players and management was excellent. Rooms were comfortable which helped out teams to come back with two trophies.

Nothing comes to mind of what we didn't like, all players were happy.

A quiet, comfortable room in a perfect location. Very nice staff at the Front Desk and one of the best hotel sleeps I've had in years.

Although I'm confident I was careful to set the wake-up alarm on the TV correctly, it didn't go off. (?)

The hotel was centrally located, the staff were friendly and the room spotlessly clean. The bathroom was a decent size. Thank you for a great stay!

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Location is great. Everything is new.

The woman at reception was not friendly, almost surly. The view of trash cans and scaffolding wasn’t so nice and it was noisy with banging bins and workers talking. It wasn’t construction, it was permanent.

Right in the center of Kiel.

The pictures of your room with a balcony can be deceiving. Make sure that it states a balcony in your room of choice. I paid 20 euro more for the room with a balcony. The view was nothing special, other than that, I would definitely stay there again.

Great location and convenient room. It is clean, quiet, and have some food services provided out of the breakfast.

Maybe an easy access to hot water?
