rooms were very clean, toilet and shower en-suite. body wash and soap included in bathrooms. chargers and night lights at each bed. kitchen was very spacious, large dining table, one fridge, two hobs, microwaves and a kettle. Plates, Pans and utensils all supplied by the hostel. 3x washing machines and dryers. large common room with entertainment on the Friday night, vending machines, atm and a bar free luggage storage and 2 lockers in the bar area. Good location, lots of bars and restaurants nearby. supermarkets 10 minute walk away and cologne cathedral/central station about 20/25 minute walk away

very noisy, lots of young people who were running up and down the halls at night and slamming doors washing and drying was expensive approx €5.20 for each. Underbed lockers are large cages, you must bring your own lock, however small bags can still easily be grabbed through the bars even when locked

Me and my friends have booked three beds for seven days as we had a conference of IS-MPMI. We stayed there from 12th to 19th July. Our overall stay was good, the hostel is near neumarkt and rudolfplatz tram stations and also well connected to the cologne central station and other parts including beautiful sub urbs like bensberg, zundrof, citic like boon, bruhl and achen etc.. The place has a lot of fooding and clubbing options nearby and also a number of dm, rewe like affordable stores are there. Most of Staffs were very polit, helpful and also they have this joyfulness. We did not tried food there only some occasional coffees.

Overall our stay was good room mates were mostly very nice people, except for one elderly guy who was very rude to us and also throwed racists comments. As we were leaving that day so we did not paid it much attention, and also this kind of issues happen in dorms so not a big deal.

I decided to extend my stay in Cologne at the last minute, and was surprised by the availability of rooms practically overnight. I was particularly impressed with how flexible and hospitable the staff were. On the day I was checking in, I wasn't feeling well, and the guy working the counter kindly accommodated a request having to do with changing my booking. I honestly thought I might be asking too much, but he actually did more than I asked him to, just so I wouldn't lose any money. I wish I had gotten his name for this review!

Everything was perfect :) The room wasn't quiiite as spacious as the one I stayed in the first time around, but it was still comfortable and had everything I needed

price policy. I didn't understand the pricing. I paid 43eu for two nights. But during check-in, the guy in front of me - a Ukrainian - couldn't pay in cash, 32eu. (I helped and used my card) he gave me cash. The problem is not here. I didn't understand why when I booked online in advance, it cost me 43eu, and when other people (Ukrainian) paid on the spot, wanted to pay in cash (and couldn't) it cost cheaper - 32eu. We both slept in the same room and both stayed for two nights???...

Nice clean, friendly hostel with a good breakfast available and very good en-suite shower and lavatory.

As other users have said, being unable to open the window more than a few inches made it incredibly stuffy and hard to sleep comfortably, especially for the poor person in the upper bunk. The only other mild criticisms we had was that the reception computer seemed to be pretty slow and that the hostel is quite a long way from the station, without a straightforward public transport link. Having said that, we'd probably book again if we're in Köln in the cold season!

Hallo everyone, I have been in this hotel for 2 days, in this hotel and we have enjoyed it.😊 Especially the beds 🛌 have charging stocks for phones my kids were very happy. Definitely, i recommend you all. Specially thanks to reception workers. They are very kind and polite. I lost my room cards 😩 but they solved it without problem.

Negative was only the lamps 🫠. Because it was not so bright. So my kids got a little bit sad. But I understand that they also need to save the energy. Overall, everything was good.

The room was basic, but it did have a nice in room bathroom with a separate shower which worked with well with a family breakfast was phenomenal!

One elevator was out of service so it made getting to our 4th floor room with luggage a bit more challenging. Also, the windows were allowed to only open a small bit which made the room hot on an already hot day. These things aren’t necessarily reflective of our stay because as far as a hostel goes it was great!

Fab location, short work to lively areas with great atmosphere and choice of restaurants. Old town and key areas a short walk but there is also a tram and good links Family rooms are large, staff friendly and place has a great friendly vibe

No air con, rooms get very hot in summer Room was clean but smelled very stale/funky upon arrival. Opened all windows for duration of stay and left fans running to alleviate this

The hotel is well located, close to some bars in the gay area and also close to metro lines. The check in and check out are easy. The room is big enough, beds and pillows are comfortable.

We had a confusion whether we had already paid or not (sometimes I feel like Booking doesn't report clearly to the hotel when the payment has been done). The shower door and the hook for the shower head could use some fixing.

Clean room with adequate facilities, great for short/medium stay. Location is pretty good but far if you constantly plan to use main station. However if you plan to stay in Köln this is perfect.

There is no physical lock on the door. There is a keycard system which I'm sure is more than enough, but if your security conscious then this could be an issue. However, it didn't bother me to much, hotel felt very safe and had a good vibe.
