An economical family room with a bathroom, enough space, very clean, and clearly recently renovated. The design is minimalistic, but everything needed is there - there was even a small sitting table in the room, which was very convenient for the kids to play games. The bed was really comfortable, and the linen and towels were clean. The kids loved the bunk beds! Parking was included in the price we paid. The location in Laim is convenient: easily accessible by car (very near the highway), the old city is a 15-minute train ride away, and Schloss Nymphenburg is a 30-minute walk away. There is an Italian restaurant (not excellent but good value for the price) and Balkan bakery (excellent) across the street, and a Lidl supermarket nearby (a 5-minute walk).

Two of the beds were not made (bunk beds) - bed sheets and pillow/blanket cases were just left on the beds, so we had to make them ourselves. The doors in the hallway were noisy (we expected that, considering it's a hostel). The elevator was out of order most of the time during our stay.

I have never been to A&O hostels before and I was amazed :) They are so modern and like from the next century! We booked online, received a QR code by email and were able to check ourselves at the reception personally, also paying on the spot and activating our key cards. We could buy food and drinks from the vending machines or at the bar. There were activities for kids to do while we were busy. There were activities to do for adults too (8-ball pool, large screen TV, board games). We could also get hot water at the reception, which was perfect, because we carry our own tea bags with us. A laundry room was listed, but we didn’t use it this time. We liked the room too (a quadruple room) - we had two large single beds and a bunk bed for the kids, with our own toilet and shower. There was liquid soap at the sink and in the shower. More towels were available upon request. The location is great too - walking distance from Laim station, which you can shorten if you catch the bus 130 for a stop. It was a tad noisy - our windows were facing the railway, but that was no problem to us, because the kids had a private show of trains passing by :) Would definitely stay there again!

Everything was perfect.

- the price. - you can park for free by the road next to the property. - free hot drink. - when booking the stay, asked for a room on a quiet side (not facing the railroad) which was granted. - easy self check in. - friendly and helpful staff.

- Two of the beds were not made - housekeeping just left the bed sheets and pillow/banket cases so had to do it ourselves, not a big deal but this is the first time in my experience. - Not all power outlets worked. - TV was not working, or at least I couldn’t get it to work. - there was mold in the shower. - noisy doors in the hallway kinda makes it hard to fall asleep.

The room was spacious, clean, well heated, had a private bathroom which was also comfortable. The bath towels, hair dryer, soap/shampoo were included. The sockets and shelves were conveniently situated and multiple. Each roommate could get their personal key card for the room. There was a TV in our room, too. The guys at the reception were very helpful, friendly and responsive. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

The kitchen. It was situated outside of the building, so we had to cross the backyard. There's only key to the kitchen door, very limited kitchen ware and unfortunately no electric kettle. The kitchen is rather small for a hostel this size. If it wasn't for the kitchen the hostel would get 10 stars.

An economic family room with bathroom, clean, with shared kitchen, perfect for a short stay. Easy check in. Italian restaurant in front of the hostel, and supermarket in the nearby.

The shared kitchen is very small, and lacks many utensils for eating (dishes, cutlery, glasses). There were many people using it for dinner, and was very uncomfortable. For a such hostel, a bigger kitchen would be better. The corridors were not properly ventilated and they smelled bad. In summer, the rooms in the top of the building are very hot.

My stay at a&o was overall average, which is totally fine and expected for a low-rate hostel. I didn’t have high expectations, and everything was just okay — nothing to complain about. But what truly stood out and made my experience special was the staff, especially Muhammad and Adityya. They were absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel very welcome. Every request I had and every question I asked was answered thoroughly and patiently. They didn’t just point me in a direction — they guided me through everything step by step, always making sure I was comfortable and knew what to do. Thanks to their kindness, professionalism, and support, my stay became much more enjoyable than I imagined. Honestly, I would have rated this hostel a 6, but because of Muhammad and Adityya, it’s a solid 10. I truly appreciate them and their effort!

We had a wonderful stay in this spacious Paris apartment, which exceeded our expectations in many ways. With three separate bedrooms, each with a large bed, our daughters could even enjoy having a room to themselves — a rare luxury in central Paris! The location is excellent, just a short 2–3 minute walk from the Rodin Museum, and close to Les Invalides, bus stops, and the metro (about 7–8 minutes away). A grocery store is literally just 20 meters from the entrance, which was incredibly convenient. The apartment is spread over two levels, with bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, and a fully equipped kitchen and living space downstairs. Having two toilets and two bathrooms with showers was a major plus for our family. The kitchen, while not ultra-modern, had high-quality, reliable appliances, including a fridge and a washer-dryer, which we used frequently. The only small thing we missed was a microwave, but there was an oven and induction stove for heating food, so it wasn’t a problem. Dishes, cups, wine glasses, even coffee and tea — everything was provided. There weren’t basic cooking oils like butter or sunflower oil, but that’s a minor point, not a real issue. We loved the authentic atmosphere of the neighborhood and the apartment itself. With elegant décor, historic photos, and books, the place had real Parisian charm, as if you were staying in a quiet palace rather than a rental flat. Everything was very clean and recently renovated, and the TV and air conditioning worked great. We didn’t test the AC in summer mode, but we felt it would be quite helpful in colder weather too, especially since Parisian heating systems are often unpredictable. We had one issue with a power outage, but the hosting company responded quickly and was in touch the whole time. They helped us resolve it within 50 minutes, and it was reassuring to know that support was always available. We didn’t expect this level of comfort for the price we paid, and we’d definitely come back again.

It's a great place, albeit further away from town. Easy to organize and navigate. Close to S train station, clean environment. Room was comfortable, nice choice for a family, separate bathroom, towels and everything you need. Clean. Staff was friendly, quick check in, check out, there are facilities that can be used for a fee. Sustainable.

We are extremely disappointed with the treatment in relation to parking space. We changed to another accommodation so we could have parking after picking up a rent-a-car. The explanation of the place says there is parking, not that it is paid parking. Before arriving I wrote a message to the place that we needed a parking space. I had no reply but a generic regular info saying it cost 15 euros. On checking in again I confirmed that we needed parking for two nights, the officer confirmed that it cost 15 euros per day, which I agreed with. Nothing more was said to me. The next day it turned out we didn't have a parking reservation and they pointed us to available spots around, explaining that “it's safe but there are no spots”. Just don't do that!
