I had an outstanding stay at the Centro Hotel Mondial, where the attentive staff made me feel welcomed from the start. It is a nice hotel very close to the main railway station in Munich. The building itself looks very old but my room was beautiful and clean. The bed was comfortable and I liked the style of the room in general. There are restaurants in the nearby, partially because of this and the central location of the hotel the street was relatively noisy in front of my room, but I could sleep. I did not have breakfast but there is a possibility to have it in the hotel. I can recommend it for short stay in Munich.

- Location is very good, 10 min walk to the city center. - Vibrant areas with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. - Several payment options. - Good lighting and plugs availability around the room. - The small balcony was nice. - walls are soundproof. - It was clean and comfortable. - Receptionist guy was helpful and responsive.

- No kettle at the room. - Shower was not working. - The window has no screen so you have to keep it locked to avoid insects coming in, room has no AC so the interior was rather hot. - No fridge or safe. - Early check-in was not possible. - Drinks are a bit expensive.

Central location to just about everything. On a sort of side street so minimal passing traffic which was nice, staff was friendly, everything was very clean and my room was cleaned every day.

There are a lot of homeless people in the square just outside the hotel. The elevator was broken, my exterior black out window blinds were broken (the staff was super nice in trying to relocate my room but I ended up dealing with it and it was manageable.

Close to the center, you can walk easily. If you get tired, you can take the metro, the station is nearby. In the area, especially on the other side of the park, there are several restaurants where you can have dinner. The staff is responsive, before entering the parking lot they recommended that I look around to see if I could enter. There are no problems with a compact car.

The location was great. The underground station is 30m away. There is a 24hr Turkish restaurant at a similar distance, good for breakfast as well as kebab.

They were doing some painting just outside our door while we were there. I don't think every room was occupied, so they might have assigned us a better spot. The carpet in our room we looking worn.

Great location and friendly staff. Comfy bed and good sized room and clean bathroom. I would recommend this hotel.

The carpets are very stained but not a big deal. My rooms TVs (news) channels had several missing, but my friends room had them all. Difficult to shower as it's more of a bath with a shower head attached. Had a lovely bath instead so not a problem.

The hotel is very well located, a short walk to Mauritiusplatz. The rooms are clean and well maintained, the beds are comfortable. The staff is very kind, always smiling and eager to help. I forgot a phone charger when I left and we were contacted by phone and through the Booking platform to see what we can do to recover it, fortunately I was still in town and recovered it immediately.

The hotel parking lot is a bit narrow for larger cars, but there is also a private parking lot right next to the hotel.

Good. Location! Close to metro and tram. Walking distance to Marienplatz. Spacious room. Good bed. Desk! Balcony away from the street. Good value for money!

Decor little dated. Wall to wall carpeting not my favorite. Easy to hear noises from neighboring rooms. Rooms on lower floor hear loud music from street level.

Hotel staff were extremely professional and even allowed us early check in as our train arrived early. Rooms were good with all amenities. Breakfast options were plenty and a must try at the hotel. The cherry on the top was the location. The entry to the Munich Oldtown is just round the corner and Sendlington Tor, one of the major ubahn station in Munich, is just a few footsteps away.
