Wonderful clean hostel, with a small but various breakfast in the morning and nice quiet and clean public areas to relax. The room (4 beds) was very spacious, clean and comfortable, maybe more hooks and hangers could have been available.

It was very close to the main train station but the area is very ugly. There are many striptease and lap dance places around, not the best environment. I arrived at around 20.30 and I chose the fastest way following Google maps. I ended up walking in the main street of what looked like a red light district, with many groups of men also visibly altered. Being a single woman, I didn't feel safe at all. I wish it would have been advised somehow. I would suggest to take a longer but better route around. The street where the hostel is located is not that bad, but to get there from the station, I wouldn't recommend it.

Bed pillows are uncomfortable WiFi in bedrooms is a bit unreliable If you have troubles sleeping or not used to sleep with strangers, staying in a bunk-bed may be a challenge in general - but this is not an issue of the property - just a friendly reminder to be aware of the conditions and not an issue by itself.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel! Nice and clean rooms, nice cafeteria downstairs. Location is just perfect.

A bit cold in the room number. So I suggest you to take socks and pajamas)) The only thing that really saddened me (and made me stay hungry) is that the stuff of the kitchen doesn’t know the contents of allergens in their breakfast meals. As I’m having milk intolerance, I couldn’t risk, so I had to eat there at breakfast just boiled eggs, jam and coffee(( So I really wish the hotel’s kitchen finds out the contents of their food and teaches the stuff, so they help customers with special diets to find the food they can eat.

There was a man in the kitchen speaking in a raised voice and sometimes in an unkind tone with guests. He did it with me and was again doing it with some others from Asia. When I went for breakfast, I could see only one table for four laid out with cutleries and cups. Being a single customer and following habit, I choose to occupy a table for two. I picked up a cup from among lots of cups placed in front of him on a tray. He told me angrily that I should go and sit in a place assigned for me where cups are ready and not take one from him. I followed his advice. I could see the same pattern repeating with other guests on the next day.

I liked the staff, everyone was very polite and helped me with everything I needed. I liked the room, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The furniture was new and functional. I liked the breakfast, you could eat as much as you want. There were plenty of food options and everything was fresh and tasty.

I was surprised to find out that there were no products in the room such as shampoo, shower gels or flip flops. Apparently, they are included only if you book the single rooms. The receptionist was very kind and gave me a free bottle of shower gel during my stay. Also the neighbourhood might feel a little bit unsafe at night, but I had no bad experiences.

I arrive in Munich sick. Talked to the staff as I was supposed to be in a 3 person room but didn't want to get the others sick. They managed to arrange a private room for me. Stayed in room 409 and that shower pressure and heat was FANTASTIC! Better than the shower at home. The location is very central. There are strip clubs and it does seem a bit on the rougher end of town but I never had an issue. Close to train station. Would definitely stay again.

The receptionist was very kind and clear. The room was clean and well-thought-out. I quite liked the breakfast! And on the morning when I was leaving too early for breakfast, the very kind receptionist prepared a breakfast baggie for me. Thank you for the kind hospitality!

The AC was broken during the two nights that I was there, but the receptionist was very upfront about it and was waiting for a repair man. The heat did not bother me much during my stay.

The lady on the reception was friendly and helpful. I liked how clean it was. The bed was comfortable, super modern, rock solid. The location is perfect. The breakfast is nice, breakfast staff is attentive and cool.

Shower wall was consisting of 2 pieces, one of which was the door. I expected that it would leak, because these types of connections always leak in the corners. And it leaked. If not this — I'd put 10/10. Weird thing — the lift works only until 23:00. So when you most need it — you have to go upstairs on foot. Also, WiFi was a bit slower on 4 Floor, but it's very survivable. The price was crazy, but it's Munich.

Very friendly staff - own restaurant with good food / beer but low prices. Comfortable beds and top location between the main train station and the Marienplatz.

I had a wonderful stay at CVJM. What stood out to me the most was the excellent location. With both a tram and U-Bahn station nearby, it was incredibly convenient for getting around. Additionally, it is very close to the Old Town and the Central Station, making exploration easy and enjoyable. I also greatly appreciated the cleanliness of the property and the friendliness of the staff, which made my stay even more pleasant.

I had a bit of difficulty sleeping due to the pillow, which was quite uncomfortable and left my neck sore. Additionally, it would be great if a hairdryer were provided in the room and if the breakfast offerings could be made a bit more varied.
