The room was clean and comfortable. Had all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were accommodating and the breakfast had plenty of choice. Location 10 minute walk from Marienplatz & main train station.

Unfortunately there's construction to the building next door and it was quite noisy but hopefully that should not continue much longer.

Hotel Wallis is at an perfect location near the main train station in center of Munich. Unfortunately it isn't mine favorite place at Munich but the connections are really good and just what I needed. We found it very easily, got help from the staff too and had a nice room with view of the main street and it wasn't loud at all. Room had good beds, nice toiled and it was clean, with welcome fruit basket, coffee and drinks.

There is no physical lock from the inside of the room. The doors do lock automatically when closed but I would prefer to have an lock from the inside too.

- if you need parking place you have to ask/reserve it _before_ booking as far hotel has limited number of parking places. In this case (my case) you should leave car in underground parking but it located two blocks away. - center of city (where hotel is) is not clean

The location being close to the station and transport system. Walking distance to Marienplatz, Sendling Tor and the Oktoberfest venue that had the Christmas Market.

Cleaner hoovering outside our door every morning at 07:15, Room was exceptionally hot and couldn’t turn down the radiators. Noise from next door building works but that wasn’t the hotels fault. No safe in room although a safety deposit box was available at reception

Great location, nice rooms, reasonably price. Breakfast is included if you book your stay with them directly (we booked 2 rooms via booking.com, 2 of us got free breakfast and we paid for 3 others), and is a very good value for the money even if you pay for it yourself. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed there twice this month and will stay again if / when we come back to Munich

A/C in one of the rooms was not strong enough, but in this price range it's hard to find hotels that have A/C at all

It was close to the train station and close to the central downtown area. The breakfast was very good. However, the neighborhood is very questionable and construction everywhere making you feel a little unsafe. Once you’re in the hotel, it is better. There was a smell in the room that dissipated about an hour after we turned on the air… the best part was it location

Stayed here before so knew what to expect but I was still very impressed by how clean everywhere was - especially the rooms. Basic but very will thought out and bed extremely comfortable. Staff on reception and in the breakfast area very helpful and friendly. Central to all the main train and bus stations for access to visits outside the city but also only a few minutes walk from most places. Breakfast very good - plenty of choice and good value.

No English channels on the TV. Not a big deal but a fair amount of visitors are English.

The Hotel is perfectly located if you want to visit the city center. It is close to a subway station and in walking distance to the main pedestrian area of Munich. The breakfast was very good, fresh and mixed: you can find your preferred breakfast option easily. Overall, a very good value for money deal.

The bathroom is quite small, but it's probably what you have to expect for something in this price range.

I was last year and got the room next door (even on the same floor) and compared to it from last year they did renovate it and is really nice. It was very clean and the staff is super friendly. The breakfast was also very nice. The location is well positioned near the main train station and the city center.

Some vent sound or sound of the washing machine was constantly running.
