The location was perfect! It was indeed a walking distance to the old town. The pick up place going to places like Neuschwanstein Castle tour and Ingolstadt village outlet was just a 10 sec walk from the hotel entrance. The hotel is situated between to access points to the subway. In front of the hotel is a tram station. Going to Hauptbahnhof station is about a 10 min walk. The room was spacious. Receptionists were all kind, accommodating and helpful. The people during breakfast were friendly too. Food was acceptable too. The bath area is enclosed so the toilet area is still kept dry even after showering. It was good that we had the option to open our window when we don't was to use the AC.

The last 2 nights we were there, I had a challenge to sleep straight because the hotel is near a bar and the sound of the bass was somewhat loud.

Location was perfect considering it was my first time in munich, it was perfect both day and night for shops, food ect.

I didn’t dislike the property, my only insult was the fact that I had paid upon booking the property upon leaving the lady charged me again, not only would the confirmation email both printed and on my phone plus the app she still was not happy. So to my embarrassment I was searching through my luggage for the invoice slip received when checking from the other staff. Full breakfast s had been paid for but we never even ate, due to us being preoccupied but there should have been no issues.

The location of this hotel was spot on. Near all the tram stops and just around the corner from many bars, restaurants and places of interest. Not too far a walk from the train station too. The staff were really helpful and check-in was super easy. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Considering it is slap bang in the middle of Munich it was relatively quiet for a centrally located hotel. Would definitely use this hotel again for a short stay.

Would have been great to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room but it didn't spoil our stay.

Hotel was centrally located to the main shopping mall and the main Xmas markets. The room was spacious and nice and warm in a very cold Munich. The elevator worked which was great to get to 6th floor! The room was serviced daily. The beds, bedding and towels were very clean. The bathroom was lovely and shower pressure was good. The hotel was in walking distance to the glockenspiel and Marienplatz. A small supermarket was right next door for any supplies needed. The breakfast was extra but we decided to pay for it as it was healthy and fresh and the breakfast room was clean and quiet. Lots of restaurants down the main walking mall to eat at but the Augustina Klosterwirt beer pub was a great place to eat. The pork and schnitzel were delicious!

Very good value for money, exelent location for exploring the old town on foot and only few meeters form the Karlsplats subway entrance. Tram also stops right outside. Hotel is probably quite old, but looks newly upgraded and modern. Big bathroom, with plenty waterpressure. Nice italian restaurant right next door, with outside tables on the pavement just outside the hotel entrance. Very convenient.

A litle refrigerator in the room would have made it perfect.

Nice and helpful staff and the hotel. The breakfast is regular for this type of hotel, though it could be bit cheaper. The location is OK, not far from the train station and at the direct path to the old town. We also liked the opportunity to hold the baggage till evening, while we were walking along the city. There is no strange neighbouring and it is quite safe area.

We had no negative about the stay.

A very comfortable room and thanks to the location of the room with the windows facing an internal street, there was a perfect silence. Also cleanliness, warm hearted staff and of course the location of the hotel. In addition, near the entrance to the hotel there is an Italian restaurant, and a McDonald's a minute's walk away, which work until late hours.

No safe in the room.

The room was very clean although it was late in being ready for us. The location is great with the karlsplatz station with a line to the airport right outside the hotel and rail links to the rest of the city. Its also about 10 minutes walk to marienplatz.. the beds were very comfortable and a great shower.

I asked if we could check in early and was told we could but when we arrived were told check in time was 4 pm no exceptions. We went off and returned after 5 pm and the room still wasn't ready. The staff was very apologetic but it was frustrating. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room

I absolutely loved my short stay at this beautiful hotel in Munich. Everything was perfect, and I especially want to thank Sarah at the reception for her kindness, helpfulness, and warm smile. She truly made me feel welcome and added a special touch to my trip with her cheerful personality.. Would definitely love to come back!

About half of the rooms at the Hotel Daniel have been converted to air conditioning, but the rest are not yet converted. It was 36C/97F when we arrived. Because we were assigned a room without air conditioning, Mario, the front desk staff member who was checking us in, did what he could to reassign us to a room that had already been converted to A/C. He was awesome to work with - thank you, Mario, for your diligence in finding us a new room! Kudos to the Hotel Daniel for finding such a thorough, accommodating front desk host - he was the very positive face of the hotel to the six of us in our party (three guest rooms) as well as to the other guests with whom we observed him interacting. The location of the Hotel Daniel is wonderful. Its proximity to all modes of transportation and the many attactions of Munich cannot be beat. We would definitely recommend this hotel!
