The staff were all super friendly and spoke fluent English. The hotel is quiet, despite it's central location only 15 mins walk from Marienplatz. The buffet-style breakfast was delicious: a choice of lots of cheeses and hams, as well as cereals, pastries, fruit juice and a variety of tea/coffees. It is only 5- 10 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof (Central Munich Station) and there are a number of good restaurants (the hotel is in the Middle Eastern quarter so lots of ethnic restaurants nearby) and coffee bars within easy walking distance. We had a lovely stay and hope to be back next time we're in Munich.

The hotel is excellent but if you have younger children, be aware that there are two strip clubs in the street and in nearby streets. The area did not feel at all unsafe, despite this.

Location of the hotel near the Hautbanhoff was convenient for our day trips (But the surrounding areas could be intimidating to some with "adult-only" stores.) We travelled as a group of 6 to 9 each day, so coming home at 9pm was okay. Despite that, the area is still safe and many restaurants around made up for the convenience. We can walk or catch the trams to the city centre.

There was no air-conditioning so we experienced the heat in the rooms which has only floor noisy fans or we had to leave the windows opened all night. The bathroom shower was cover only by a curtain but due to no proper blockage on the floor, the water ran off to other ares, the shower head was broken and so leaks came from all sides. No minu fridge in room so we couldn't store our water and travelling during the summer months could be a big negative effect.

The lady who checked us in was amazing. She helped us with transportation info, drinks for purchase and took time to tell us about the property.

The location was blocks from the train station which was easy to get to but crowded, north of the hotel. A block south was a college and less crowded. Some neighboring buildings had graffiti but our hotel was well maintained and we felt safe. We drove and kept our car parked in the gated lot the entirety of our stay. There was construction going on down the block but we didn't hear it. We did have some intermittent Internet issues, but they resolved quickly.

This hotel was located about 8 blocks from the main transportation terminal and about 8 blocks from the edge of the city center / tourist area. Bus and trains are available about 5 blocks away. We rented electric scooters which worked well. The room was very nice and spacious with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was included which was a buffet of meats, cheese, fruits and breads. Several fruit stands, bakeries and coffee shops were within a block.

The shower is part of the fully tiled bathroom, only separated by a shower curtain. This allows water on most of the bathroom floor which can be inconvenient.

This is the second time we've stayed here, it completely defies expectations for a three-star establishment. This hotel is a shining example of how exceptional service, thoughtful amenities, and meticulous attention to detail can elevate a stay to rival that of much more expensive, five-star properties. From the moment I arrived at 23:00 1st of June the receptionist was incredibly welcoming and efficient. Check-in was seamless, and his genuine warmth and care made us feel instantly at home. If the world were full of people like him, it would be a fantastic world. Throughout our stay, every team member I encountered, from the front desk, housekeeping and breakfast personnel was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Their proactive approach to hospitality truly sets this hotel apart. My room, while perhaps not as sprawling as a five-star suite, was impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was plush, the linens crisp, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the toiletries and the well-appointed bathroom. It's clear that no shortcuts were taken in providing a truly comfortable and relaxing space. The amenities, such as a high-quality coffee machine . The communal areas, though perhaps more compact than a grand five-star lobby, were equally inviting and beautifully maintained. The breakfast offering, often a weak point in lower-rated hotels, was a delightful surprise. The selection was fresh, varied, and delicious, far exceeding typical three-star expectations. What truly makes The Brunnenhof feel like a five-star experience is the palpable sense of care and dedication from everyone working there. They don't just provide a room; they curate an experience that prioritizes guest satisfaction above all else. You receive all the personalized attention and comfort of a luxury hotel, without the hefty price tag. It's a testament to what a hotel can achieve when it focuses on excellence in every aspect.

Excellent staff, from check in, to check out, for anything day-to-day, friendly and easy - thank you hugely to the lady who checked us in as well, who was first-class throughout. Everything really clean, rooms a good size, breakfast a great spread (try the homemade jams), and water available so vital in the hot, hot summer Munich heat! We also liked the encouragement of using the breakfast space for any hot or cold food that you might bring in from elsewhere, to make sure everything's clean and organised. Great work everyone really!

There's nothing they could do about the summer heat, haha! There was a louder neighbour/shop nearby (weekend though), so not much anyone can do about that, especially when you need the windows open :D (but they did supply a very handy fan as well) & it was much quieter after midnight

The location was great - near the central station but yet somewhat quiet and comfortable. My toe was broken and I needed as less walk as possible and the hotel totally satisfied this requirement. They have elevator as well. The room is clean and big. The ergonomics is also great. Very good value for money.

I think the pillows and the mattress are not that comfortable. The pillow is too big, it would be nice to have a smaller one, but I was tired to go and ask, maybe they offer it. The room was also too warm, but I opened a window and it was fine. I think, the internet connection was not ideal, probably because of many people using it at the same time, so I just used my mobile hotspot.

The room was clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful and available 24/7 at the front desk. The location is very convenient as only 5 minutes from the main train station and 10-15 minutes from the old town. Very good value for money considering how positive our stay was and in comparison to other hotels in the city. One thing I loved was the water dispenser in the reception area, a small touch but very appreciated.

It would have been great to have a small fridge in the room, but this was only minor. The area did not seem particularly safe, especially after dark but this is not the fault of the hotel. Just something to consider, as we were a group of three females.

Truly everything was fantastic—from the room to the team they have! Everyone was quick to help, super friendly, gave great recommendations on where to go and what to do, they helped us figure out how to get to the airport after we left, always met us with a smile and made us feel very comfortable there. The location is perfectly situated close to the city center, the room was clean, super comfy bed, and huge bathroom. Highly recommend! The staff really helped us, provided us maps, and were so kind!

Loved it all - no complaints here!

The actual hotel was great. The breakfast and room was great.

The location was a bit concerning. We saw a fight with a beer bottle, a possible drug sale, and many exotic bars and casinos with very few people actually out and about. I recommend getting there during the day if you have kids just for safety. We walked from the station to the hotel late at night. The hotel can not change their surroundings, but being aware of the area is important for everyone's safety. We would have used a Taxi based on the lack of crowds in many areas between the station and the hotel.
