The staff were all super friendly and spoke fluent English. The hotel is quiet, despite it's central location only 15 mins walk from Marienplatz. The buffet-style breakfast was delicious: a choice of lots of cheeses and hams, as well as cereals, pastries, fruit juice and a variety of tea/coffees. It is only 5- 10 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof (Central Munich Station) and there are a number of good restaurants (the hotel is in the Middle Eastern quarter so lots of ethnic restaurants nearby) and coffee bars within easy walking distance. We had a lovely stay and hope to be back next time we're in Munich.

The hotel is excellent but if you have younger children, be aware that there are two strip clubs in the street and in nearby streets. The area did not feel at all unsafe, despite this.

Excellent staff, from check in, to check out, for anything day-to-day, friendly and easy - thank you hugely to the lady who checked us in as well, who was first-class throughout. Everything really clean, rooms a good size, breakfast a great spread (try the homemade jams), and water available so vital in the hot, hot summer Munich heat! We also liked the encouragement of using the breakfast space for any hot or cold food that you might bring in from elsewhere, to make sure everything's clean and organised. Great work everyone really!

There's nothing they could do about the summer heat, haha! There was a louder neighbour/shop nearby (weekend though), so not much anyone can do about that, especially when you need the windows open :D (but they did supply a very handy fan as well) & it was much quieter after midnight

The location was great - near the central station but yet somewhat quiet and comfortable. My toe was broken and I needed as less walk as possible and the hotel totally satisfied this requirement. They have elevator as well. The room is clean and big. The ergonomics is also great. Very good value for money.

I think the pillows and the mattress are not that comfortable. The pillow is too big, it would be nice to have a smaller one, but I was tired to go and ask, maybe they offer it. The room was also too warm, but I opened a window and it was fine. I think, the internet connection was not ideal, probably because of many people using it at the same time, so I just used my mobile hotspot.

The room was clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful and available 24/7 at the front desk. The location is very convenient as only 5 minutes from the main train station and 10-15 minutes from the old town. Very good value for money considering how positive our stay was and in comparison to other hotels in the city. One thing I loved was the water dispenser in the reception area, a small touch but very appreciated.

It would have been great to have a small fridge in the room, but this was only minor. The area did not seem particularly safe, especially after dark but this is not the fault of the hotel. Just something to consider, as we were a group of three females.

Truly everything was fantastic—from the room to the team they have! Everyone was quick to help, super friendly, gave great recommendations on where to go and what to do, they helped us figure out how to get to the airport after we left, always met us with a smile and made us feel very comfortable there. The location is perfectly situated close to the city center, the room was clean, super comfy bed, and huge bathroom. Highly recommend! The staff really helped us, provided us maps, and were so kind!

Rooms were immaculate. Basic but comfy, clean and enough for what was needed. Close to station too. Very welcoming staff. Bed linens were really nice actually. Heating in room was brilliant, so much so we had to have the windows open (in December!) But there was barely any loud noises into the night so was great. If you're using it as a Base, and want something basic but pristine, I'd suggest this. I would stay again. No frills. But done really well. Oh. Excellent water pressure too! Shower was great.

Not the hotels fault at all, but there were groups of men on the street just further up drinking and making inappropriate comments when we returned home at night. We were 2 females travelling together and confident enough to ignore them. Only English channels on the TV were news and couldn't throw your own Netflix to it either. Would just help to have an additional channel. Extra pillow maybe?

The actual hotel was great. The breakfast and room was great.

The location was a bit concerning. We saw a fight with a beer bottle, a possible drug sale, and many exotic bars and casinos with very few people actually out and about. I recommend getting there during the day if you have kids just for safety. We walked from the station to the hotel late at night. The hotel can not change their surroundings, but being aware of the area is important for everyone's safety. We would have used a Taxi based on the lack of crowds in many areas between the station and the hotel.

Our group was in town for Oktoberfest, so we were thrilled with the proximity to the grounds. The breakfast was a nice option to have in the morning. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Due to our visit being over an incredibly busy time, the price was a bit outrageous, but I suppose it's a supply/demand situation. Given the costs, four adults were in one room, which ended up working out fine, but it was still tight and insanely costly. Everything was clean, but there were no frills to be sure. Given the price we paid, it would have been nice to have the breakfast included, and not additional, but again, that could have been a time of year situation.

This hotel is very conveniently located near the main Munich train station and Munich city centre, and whilst it's busy, it is very quiet. No air-conditioning, but we were given 5 fans, and with a window open, it was cool enough in late August. Five adults stayed in the 6 bed room. It was larger than expected, very clean and comfortable. They serve a good buffet breakfast, and reception is manned 24/7 by friendly helpful staff. A laundromat is within walking distance. There are many cafes and restaurants close by. Public transport is all around, and most inner city attractions are within walking distance. We recommend hotel Brunnenhof.

Hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly by providing us with a lovely comfortable big room in a quiet position which suited our needs perfectly. When we suddenly needed to alter our holiday plan due to a family medical issue at home, the hotel staff were very extremely helpful in extending our stay at the hotel while allowing us to remain in our room with a late checkout, I will not forget how everybody was so friendly, helpful and co-operative.

The area between the hotel and the railway station appeared a little seedy at first. However we never felt threatended or unsafe in this area. Futhermore, there are many small shops, cafes and restaurants very close to the hotel offering a wide range of cuisine including European, Asian and MIddle Eastern food. Excellent access to the main railway station and restaurant complex which is 5 minutes walk.
