The Hotel Kraft has a quiet location, yet still close to the buzzing main station area with lots cafes and Middle Eastern restaurants. The Deutsches Theather is only a 3 minute walk away, Marienplatz is about a 20 minute walk. Our room was next to the elevator on first floor but still it was tranquil. The room and the bathroom were clean and spacious enough for two people. The reception staff was always friendly and there was daily cleaning in the room. Parking is avaialble directly at the hotel at 15 EUR per day. I would stay here again when in München.

The walls in the hotel are a bit thin.

The room looked recently refurbished and not big but roomy enough, exceptionally clean. Staff were great and the breakfast was perfect. The breakfast room had adjoining terrace if the weather permitted and was very light. Breakfast was everything you would need and more. Kraft Hotel is in a great position at Sendlinger Tor, close to the Bahnhof, 10 minutes walk to the Sendlinger bus/train stops and within 15 to 20 minutes walk of Marienplatz.

We received a very warm welcome. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Our room was ready early for us. The room was spacious with a large double bed, wardrobe and television. The bathroom was quite small, but had a bath with a shower overhead and a hairdryer. Breakfast was a good choice of meats, cheeses, pastries, breads and cereals. Boiled eggs, sausages and streaks of bacon. There was a nice lounge/bar area for drinks. The hotel was spotless and well kept. The location was around 10/15min walk from the train station and the Marienplatz.

4 minutes to the Hauptbahnhof, at the quiet end of schillerstraße, excellent staff, very friendly and accommodating, clean and quiet hotel, close to all amenities 👍

Hotel Kraft is clean and super nice. I would like to thank the hotel managers, they are very kind and know every detail we wanted to clarify. In our room we found everything we needed: a kettle, tea and coffee amenities, a well-equipped bathroom. The hotel is located close both to the railway station and to the historic centre: you can easily reach Karlsplatz, Sendlinger Tor, Frauenkirche and so on. I would definitely recommend you to visit Pinakothek Museum, as it is also can be reached from the hotel and it has a great collection of arts. What is more, it will take you 5 mins to reach the nearest supermarkets with a good range of products, including local and original ones, for example Bier Käse :) To travel during the Christmas time was a brilliant idea, the city centre was beautifully decorated and the smell of mulled wine was in the air! To sum up, we had a wonderful time in this hotel. We hope that we will be able to come here more than once, and I definitely recommend this hotel.

Clean & very quiet room with very friendly front desk staff. Hotel is close to Munich station and around a 25 minute walk to the old city centre. Great base for exploring Bavaria by train.

The area between the hotel and Munich station is a little run-down and the streets are often quite dirty. Also seems to be many migrants hanging around in the streets which may make women traveling alone feel unsafe since most of these migrants appear to be men. This is not the fault of the hotel of course.

The Hotel Kraft was fantastic. Clean, good sized room and quiet with a great window. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a little challenging to get to due to some construction, but after the first time going there, we knew what to expect. There was no construction noise and it did not bother the stay once we knew how to navigate the street.

A gem – a small, moderately priced but "boutique" hotel. Located close to Sendlinger Tor. It's about a 20min walk to the main station, the same to Marienplatz. Alternatively, 5+ minutes walking and then 2 stops by train). Everything is very nicely and neatly maintained. The rooms are spotlessly clean, beds are comfortable. The manager is extremely helpful. Breakfast is very good value, including hot items as well as an extenive continental selection, and well worth it at $15.

A tiny issue is we found the room was a little dark with the two bedside lamps. It could use a floor lamp or a table lamp on the desk to add to the overall lighting.

It did have a good location ..once I got the lay of the land At first I was overwhelmed with the number of middle eastern people… but once I settled in it was all fine.. I was just unaware that they had that big of a population in Munich. We ate at a middle eastern reds about 1/2 a block down and it was excellent ..no problems at all

They should have a kettle with coffee in the room so you can make a cup of coffee for morning. Your breakfast was to much

Room was a good size, although bathroom was a little small. Great to have air conditioning as many smaller hotels in Europe do not. Breakfast was ok, selection a little minimal but it was fine. Location was great - close to metro and walking distance to old town Munich.

Pillows could be better. But we found pillows at other hotels similar. Really need to find pillows that actually support the head and don’t go flat. Also, for two nights people in room above us were quite loud. All the floors are hardwood so doesn’t seem to be much sound proofing between floors. Swear these people were trying to move all the furniture for 2 hrs straight both nights.
