We found the property to be clean and comfortable with helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast had a wonderful array of Bavarian continental breakfast items in addition to basic sausage and eggs, and we really enjoyed that. Pros: comfortable beds - if you need more pillows just ask; computer and free printing in lobby; very nice and helpful staff; lots of hot water and water pressure; large room that we paid up for; windows that open for fresh air; quiet on court yard side plus black out curtains; a good safe; easy to go anywhere with tram outside or walk to train/bus main stations; very clean public areas, room and bathroom; lots of restaurants close by and out of tourist zone; at breakfast staff serve coffee to the table, and there are lots of breads, cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, condiments, fruit, juices, eggs and always a hot sausage with the eggs. Unlike many hotels that have no service except for check-in, this family run hotel cares about its guests. They sell public transport tickets, will set up a cab and even sell stamps and will mail your letter! They have little Haribo candy at desk and on beds, and on check out they give you a small bottle of their sparkling wine and chocolates. One of the owners accidentally knocked on our door to show a new staff person a room, and was so apologetic that she even left us a note to apologize at the front desk. Cons: it’s hard to say anything negative - the bed for two is actually two singles pushed together, and with out a topper covering the two mattresses, you could find the crack between the two mattresses annoying if you are really particular. Certainly not a show stopper for us and we would stay here again.

We enjoyed most things about this property. Close tram stop; right outside front door, very helpful staff, great breakfast, good room size, made you feel welcome. We would stay here again but not in summer or at a time where cool air from air conditioning is definitely required.
There was no fridge in the room so no way to keep items cold. Although there was a small communal fridge downstairs next to the Manager’s office. Lack of a fridge makes it difficult to keep essential medicines cool. We booked a room with aircon as I need the room cool to sleep. The air conditioning is not effective. Although the in room control was set to 18 degrees when we arrived and left on this setting for our six night stay, the room was never below 22 degrees. Too warm for me. It was as though you had a personal control but there was a master switch elsewhere controlling the actual temperature of the air entering the room

The hotel is located very close to Munich Central Station and the Flixbus terminal, with tram line 19 stopping right in front of it. It’s also within walking distance of the city center—no more than 2 km away. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was also clean, and a hairdryer was provided. The staff were friendly and eager to offer information, bar prices were reasonable, they also sold public transport tickets, and the breakfast was varied and filling. Upon arrival, I was offered a small bottle of champagne as a welcome gift.
I didn't receive any garbage bags for the two bins in the room, nor hotel slippers, but this wasn’t a major inconvenience. The window didn’t block out street noise very well, but it wasn’t disturbing. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi network was quite weak, with low speed and frequent disconnections.

The breakfast items are always very fresh. However, as items decline in quantity over the breakfast period, they are not restocked, e.g. juices were nearly empty by 09h30 (breakfast ends at 10h00), as were eggs and sausage. However, there was still plenty of cold meats and rolls with which to make a breakfast sandwich. One morning, the cream for my milk was, unfortunately, spoiled. It was replaced immediately, but with more spoiled cream. Finally, I received a container of fresh milk. By then, they weren't taking chances with the cream. By that time, however, the coffee was finished, due to three cups having been ruined by spoiled cream, and no more coffee was forthcoming, as the server had become sullen and pretended to no longer understand English or German. A little spoiled milk, or cream, though, will not lower my overall high opinion of the hotel.
The mattress is quite hard. It needn't be a feather bed, but neither should it be nearly rock-hard.

Location is excellent! A 15 min walk from the Hauptbahnhof, but if you'd rather not walk approx 50 or so feet from the entrance to the hotel is a Tram Station (which can take you to the Hauptbahnhof or even to the center of Munich). A mall that has Edeka, Lidl, and a few other grocery stories are approx 10 minutes away to include food options at the mall. Plenty of local restaurants around to verify from German, Italian, Turkish, Vietnamese, cuisine. The Thereisenweise (oktoberfest fest grounds) is also approx 10 min walk away aswell. Breakfast is amazing, a very large selection of for Brotzeit options, and some fresh sausage and eggs, and pastries. Breakfast was great here and I took advantage of it, definitely great food options, and great hours for Breakfast too!
Would have loved to have a mini fridge (winter not so much you could place items outside your windows to keep cool, but summer it would be beneficial) and microwave in the room (reheat leftovers, especially for those who have kids and eat whenever it's convenient for them at times.

Hotel staff were friendly (particularly the girl who was there when I checked in and checked out- she was very patient) breakfast was okay if a little basic, beds were comfortable, close to metro station or short walk from main train station. Able to leave luggage
Had to leave key at reception every time I left the hotel, which I found odd. Hotel is a bit dated, if you are used to modern hotels it may be a little shock. Shower heat would sometimes go and bathroom furniture was a little old. A little noisy from the street below

Amazing breakfast. All kind of breads, cheese, fruits and a wonderfull cupuccino :) The staff is very polite, nice and friendly. The hotel has a great location, we walked to the city center everyday. Very clean and cosy hotel. They allow us to leave the bags in the hotel after the check in.
The only point I recommend to improve is the insonorization between bedrooms. We could hear snoring in the next bedroom.

I just finished my vacation around a few cities in Germany and this was the best value for money hotel. The buffet breakfast was very nice and well stocked with fresh breads, fruits, cold meats and so on. While not in the heart of of city it was convenient for me because it was a stone away from the train station and 20 mins walk to the city centre alternatively there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. I walked and enjoyed it. The friendly staff always ready assist very important to me as a solo traveller. Very happy with my choice.
Cannot fault it.

It had a quaint feeling. Nice. The staff seemed to be proud to work there and were very helpful. A short walk to haupmanhof station or a 10 or so minute walk to marinplatz where it all happens. A lovely Augustiner pub a few shops up from the hotel was perfect for a last minute bit of relaxing before turning in. The breakfast was filling and plenty of it. Loved it.
Could do with putting power points at the mirrors in the rooms as ladies usually want to see themselves as they fix their hair in the mornings.

The free breakfast buffet was excellent. The man who seemed to be the breakfast manager was excellent and most of the workers were good, the chubby lady was excellent and very personable. The other workers were fine. The hotel is in a good location, close (10-min walk) to Hackerbrueke S-bahn station and Main bus terminal (including FLIX buses) to various parts of Germany. The main Hauptbanhof was about the same distance from the hotel. Also the tram station was just in front of the hotel.
It was the first time ever not to have a clock in the room but that seems to be the trend in Germany as we found out in 2 other hotels we stayed at. The paper notice in the room stated we could request a clock but the young man at the front desk acted as if I was asking for the moon. Poor attitude, he was not good. The others were all good and the older lady (owner) was especially welcoming. The hotel would improve further if they provided an information sheet with walking maps to the stations mentioned above plus the nearby restaurants, supermarkets, laundromat, etc. Also what station and S-bahn to take to the airport.
