I like the location. Train access is just right at the door step. When I needed help for the safe, the staff response was immediate.

I don’t like the attitude of the check in staff. Although we were supposed to wait for official check in at 3pm, we arrived at 11am. We waited till 2pm. Only when we enquired then she called to check on rooms availability. It doesn’t take 3 hours for any rooms to be cleaned after guests have checked out. We were the only 2 waiting for a room as the rest have left their luggages in the store and were not there.

Superb location. 10 min walk to the centre of town and 5 mins walk to the central station. Very handy if you want to do any day trips. Immaculately clean room with all the mod cons, smart TV, excellent lighting, comfortable bed, amazing shower and daily cleaning if required. Breakfast was very European, probably the healthiest I've ever had; fruit, veg, soaked oats, cheese selection, boiled eggs, etc. No fry ups. Wide selection of hot drinks at the breakfast bar. An area to eat and chill on the roof if the weather is good. And another area to have tea, coffee, fill up water bottles and to relax at the end of a long day of sightseeing. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

I did miss my usual scrambled eggs and beans at breakfast but that's just me.

Fantastic location close to the central train station, laundry place just across the road if you need it and lots of food places nearby. Cons about the area as it is right smack in the city, things can get noisy at night especially if there’s a rowdy crowd on the streets, but that didn’t bother us too much. It would probably be better to have a room facing the central courtyard as it is likely to be more quiet there. The room was comfortable and there was enough space to open two med sized hardcase luggages.

They usually seem short staffed at reception because the staff will also be manning the bar, but staff seem lovely enough, but are unable to step away from the desk if they do not have anyone else to cover them. The air conditioning seemed faulty, where we were unable to adjust the room temperature any cooler, unsure if it was just our setting that we had wrong, but we showed the staff and she said that it seemed that we’ve got it right. We were swapped over to another room and it seemed better as there was more airflow, so the room was not as stuffy, but temperature was still about 23. We slept well enough, but felt it could have been more comfortable if we could cool the room down more.

I had a great stay at the hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable — I slept really well. I also loved the design of the hotel; it felt modern yet cozy. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a good variety of fresh options.

The only downside was the lack of information about parking. It would’ve been really helpful to receive instructions on where to park before arrival, especially for guests unfamiliar with the area. A quick message or note from the hotel in advance would make the experience even smoother.

Loved the hotel - great location - very near the main station and a REWE supermarket. Close to the main hop on/hop off bus tour stop. Also on the same side of the station as the old town, which was very handy at night as the station is huge! The styling of the hotel was fabulous and the staff were lovely. We really liked the hotel - the beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable!

The cosy room was very cosy. Ideal for us but people with reduced mobility might struggle to squeeze around the bed / past the TV. Having the toilet/shower in the room separated only by glass walls and a curtain (i.e. not in a separate en suite room) is probably fine if you are with a partner but will not be suitable for everyone. We would have liked to have had a traditional German breakfast but it didn't look like a very big buffet so we couldn't justify the price, which we thought was quite high for breakfast. The bar was lovely though and had a great atmosphere. We appreciated the free tea and coffee but would have preferred the option of regular black tea and milk or filter / pod coffee rather than flavoured tea and instant coffee.

The Breakfast was heavy on fruit, Yoghurt and muesli with lots of topping. There was both coffee ready to go or a table order service and a good choice of breads and spreads. Not much in the way of hot food - boiled egg or Weisswurst but no matter. The hotel has a good bar (where breakfast is served) and an auto check-in and out service. Beds were comfortable as was the temperature. The location is pretty good and a close walk to many of Munich's attractions.

I didn't love the layout of the room in terms of the Sink being in the main room and away from the shower and toilet. A small issue though really.

Beautiful hotel inside! Very quirky and unique. Love the bar area, friendly and helpful staff. Was nice to relax in the evening with a wine and a pizza and listen to ruby radio!! Rooms are lovely, bright and airy and everything we needed. The bed was long and comfortable. The communal coffee area was a great idea and very impressed with the selection of coffees and teas. My only issue was the noise outside the room which wasn’t the hotels fault. Have started to look at Ruby hotels in other locations now as we loved it so much!

The design of the hotel and the rooms is cool. The breakfast buffet has a nice selection of healthy options (although lacking warm foods) and they offer good coffee. The location is good if you plan to take some daytrips with the train and easy to get around in the city as well.

The AC didn't work properly, the climate in the room was constantly fluctuating between chilly and windy and hot and stuffy. The bathroom floor was flooded with each shower due to gaps between the door. The bathroom's glass box design and sink in the living room is fine when staying alone, but would not choose it when two people are staying in the room.

The rooms are modern and everything works as intended. Dimmable lights, automatic windows and a smart TV which you are able to connect with your phone and stream are a great value add. Rooms look exactly how are presented on booking.

Rooms are very small, with two people is already crowded. Not enough space where to leave your suitcases, countertop next to the sink easily gets wet which is your only space to put your small belongings. Thus those small things do make up a difference for that price range. If you do not plan on being much in the room then it will not bother you, but nonetheless these things make the room overpriced.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station. A few minute walk. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was wonderful. The check in process was smooth and self contained. The incentive of a free drink for skipping room cleaning was a great idea. The bar pizza, drinks, and breakfast were fantastic. It was so nice having a good place to eat within the hotel. Rooms were really nice and comfortable. Service was always really good and the place had a hip, fun feel.

Rooms were well done, albeit tight for the person on the other side of the bed, having to go sideways between TV and bed. Breakfast was pricey at €24, but if you decide to go with it during your entire stay, it's €20. If we would have known how great it was going to be, we would have booked it for the whole time. Pizza was a bit small for the price.
