Good location if you need a place near the airport or want to live outside Berlin city centre (Low Emission Zone) - you can park your car at the hotel parking and use the train (approx. 30-40 min ride). If you register in Partners Program, you'll receive a free 24-hour ticket for public transport (+ a bar voucher ;)) Even though the hotel seems to be located just beside the airport, there is not much noise. The room and the bathroom was tidy. The breakfast was sufficient, with wide range of choices. I recommend chilling at the bar and terrace in the evening :)

Sometimes there was a long queue at the reception - maybe a second person for help would be worth considering.

When: Jul 2025 I booked this hotel for an overnight stay as I have a flight the next day and I want to avoid possibility of any issues. The hotel located, really close to the airport with local parking available. The location so close to the airport, it's also extremely quiet - which itself amazing. Note that the parking is not owned by the hotel but a 3rd party, but operated by the Hotel i.e they can collect money and open the boom gates on their behalf. Overall stay is fine and we got 2 rooms at level 2. The hotel have a gym and sauna but I didn't investigate so can't comment here. Breakfast probably below average of all the hotels I've been to so far and options are rather small. At the time of me staying, there's scramble eggs, sausages (i have to request separately), tomato; some selection of cheese, watermelon, rockmelon, some breads. There's also Coffee & Tea station. For a overnight hotel, i think the InterCity Hotel is fine, especially for those with the need to get to airport for early checkin. Also worth noting, warm food is available from 4:30 am, which is great. Staff are great and special thanks to the help i got at the restaurant when I ask for the sausages, and some were made specifically for my kids. Thanks again. Note to those driving to the hotel at night, FOLLOW your GPS closely - the entry to the hotel is not that clear. To the hotel - some lightight to the entry from the road would really helps as the entry is dark and there's literally no signage for the entry.

Very clean, very close to the airport and easy to get to.

I did not like that they did not include breakfast in the price. This was a whooping 22 EUR more.

Spacious room, good work desk (and plenty of sockets), refrigerator and electric kettle (plus complimentary tea and coffee) in the room, clean bathroom. If you have an early morning flight and need to stay near the airport as I did, this is good value for your money, and it's actually better than a few same-rank central Berlin hotels I know. Wi-Fi works perfectly fine for basics such as mail and YT.

No downsides. However, if you come by train from Berlin, do factor a short walk to the hotel, and be aware the hotel is basically in the middle of nowhere (but they have a restaurant and do serve breakfast, so you won't starve).

It is a corporate hotel and it is very good as such. The rooms were very comfortable and everything worked really well.

There is another branch of the hotel right in front of the airport, which makes things very misleading. Before booking, I searched "Intercity Hotel Berlin" and got the one right in front of the airport, which is what I needed, only to find out later that it was not the reservation I had made. Even though this is a branch, perhaps names should be a bit more different to avoid confusion like this.

It's clean, conveniently located near the airport, and offers excellent value. Also, great air conditioning!

Weird deal with the WIFI that I couldn't understand. Why do I need to join a club to connect to the WIFI??? IT's one of the facilities the hotel provides! Also, the automatic check-in machines are complicated and useless. They do not work, except as an excuse for not having enough staff at the reception desk. Had to wait in line for a long time. After a whole day of travel, that was not a pleasant experience.

Location and car park. The staff were friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and fresh. The prices for snacks and beer were reasonable too. The breakfast was good with a choice of hot meat choices, different sausages, chicken balls and Nurnberger sausages and cold meats, cheeses and various fruits and yoghurts. The rest of the city is readily accessible both by car and S-Bahn. The station is about 300 metres from the hotel. Recommended.

The choice of snacks in the evening is a bit limited but what is available is of decent quality.

- It was the cleanest place I have stayed in in a few years! Even the bathroom was spotless. - Very friendly staff. - Public transport stop only 5 minutes of walking from the hotel. - Safe environment around hotel. - Possibility to leave backpacks after check-out.

- As I did not get an email from booking.com about expiring time for free cancelation I have missed this date. Contacted hotel about possibilities to cancel reservation with lower fee or changing reservation dates. Hotel answered that there is no possibilities to change anything. Although I contacted them two weeks till arrival. - About 50-60 minutes on public transport to reach Berlin. - Keeping in mind that hotel is quite far from Berlin the price for the room is pricey. That was the reason why I wanted to cancel reservation because I found some places for the same price in Berlin city.

There was no problem in communicating with the staff in English and were very helpful and friendly. Not much around in terms of location, but useful for late arriving or early departure flights.

No restaurants or shops around but the hotel has a restaurant and vending machine. If I were to point out one thing, there could be more hot food for breakfast but still descent nonetheless.

Beds are quite comfortable, the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and smily. Check-in and check-out was quite smooth and without too much trouble. Noise and weather isolation is quite good.

It is not well connected to travel from the hotel to the s-bahn. It might be improved by building a tunnel or a bridge directly from the train station. Pedestrian entry is not well thought. It seems the focus is more on the car than the public transport.
