The location of this hotel was brilliant and it was a lovely room and comfortable

Sadly the noise of others commuting in and out of the building was loud at times. Our room was located at the main entrance. I would stay again but i would request a different room. I would also recommend sensor lights as these were bright the whole night shinning into the room.

Absolutely loved the location! Was in the most picturesque neighborhood with the narrow cobblestones streets, with cafes lining the steep staircases. Music nearby at night in the tavernas, quiet and breezy atmosphere on the balcony. Great view of the sunrise and cupolas and terracotta roofs. Walking distance to the Acropolis and Monastiraki metro, flea market, Plaka and even then Acropolis metro station. Loved it! Highly recommend it to anyone who wants a smaller charming, historic hotel/suites in the old narrow streets part of town near good restaurants and picturesque views.

I liked everything! AC was top notch. Hotel room was well-appointed and clean. Nice color scheme. Hosts were very kind and communicative.

We loved our stay. We had the room with balcony and the views were stunning. Georgos met us at 1am and was very reassuring when our late plane and very slow luggage release at Athens airport meant we were 2 hours late. Communication was excellent from booking til checkout. The property is right up on the hill and I suggest to use their cab driver who costs the same and will find the property. There are lovely restaurants and rooftop bars everywhere. We will be back!

We were happy with everything but there are many stairs which may not suit someone who struggles with stairs.

our stay at acron athens was absolutely beautiful, and the location could not be better, everything is within only a few minutes walk and the views are just incredible. the room was comfortable, lovely shower, bed and amenities! the staff were also very helpful and kind.

be aware that taxis will not drop you off directly so if you have awkward luggage you might struggle! we also found it a little odd as check out was at 11:00 but we returned to our room at 10:30 and it had already been cleaned for the next guests, a little off putting really as perhaps we might have liked one last shower or to use the bathroom, however, we were able to keep our luggage in the room until we left at 12:30, so that was helpful.

The location was amazing! Easy walk to Acropolis as well as Beautiful view of Acropolis. Quiet but close to everything. The host George was very responsive. He set up transportation to and from the airport, and to Cape Sounio with very pleasant kind cab drivers. He quickly fixed a hard to close window, and offered suggestions to restaurants etc when asked. The on-site caretaker (Katherine)was very sweet and helpful also. We will definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

The stairs were a bit steep so wouldn’t recommend for elderly.

Location was brilliant. But best of all was the service given by GIORGOS. He was incredibly helpful in helping us sort out Transport from the ferry on a day when the taxis were on strike. He was brilliant at showing us around the property and informing us of all we needed to know. And then on our return, he helped us within taxi straight to the door in a tricky to reach area since Acron is so close to the Acropolis. I have travelled a lot from my job as well as leisure and rarely met anyone as personable and well informed as Giorgios.

Location was fanstastic. The room was modern, had a great bed and the AC was appreciated. The shower was great-pressure and hot water. Loved the cute little coffee station with 4 pods included. Host met me outside when I arrived at night and showed me around-he was very friendly as was the woman who was cleaning the rooms.

I was in the smallest, least expensive room and it is great but be aware the door to the bathroom opens in and blocks access to the toilet so I had to slightly push into the shower to shut the door and maneuver around to the toilet. This is no problem but if you are a larger person you might have issues with this bathroom (as you might in many small hotels across Europe).

I like that it was right by the front door of the property . The room is good size for 2. The location is pretty good as it was close by all the restaurants and shops by the hill. Very close to the acropolis entrance . The linens were good and soft.

The floors were very old and we felt like we might fall through . The description says sound proof but we can hear the noise coming from the street pretty clearly and also noise from the people walking by from the door. Therefore i would say our room was very noisy

You cannot find a better location. It is at the top of the stairs that everyone wants to Instagram in Plaka, very near everything. We were maybe a 10 min stroll to the Acropolis. You cannot beat the location especially for the price. The room was comfortable and AC was very cold (not a bad thing in the Athens heat!!), everything was clean. The room did not have a view really but this was not a problem since we were out and about.

There were some issues with the plumbing that had us in contact with the owners late at night, and we were not able to use our water that night and the next morning. They fixed the issue immediately the next morning, kudos to them, and accommodated our schedule to do so, but it was a bummer not to be able to shower to get our day started.

The owner and staff are very kind and accommodating! The location is near the Acropolis and walkable to many great restaurants and nightlife. The staff also held my luggage so I could attend events on the day of check out.

Make sure to get a taxi that can travel to this place, or contact the owner to help you schedule one. The first taxi we took from the airport left us about 15 minutes away and it was difficult to walk up to it in the heat with luggage. Although, this is not the fault of the property, just a lesson to be learned. As a side note, all the towels were not clean, but the room definitely was! Only docked 1 point due to the towels, otherwise it was a great stay.
