Second time to the Editor hotel!!Great and friendly staff all over the hotel.Natasa from reception was very kind and helpful with our reservation before and after we arrived. The room was clean. The breakfast delicious. The location is perfect. Only 2min walking and you found restaurants , shops, the metro station, everything!Value of money. If i go to Athens again is my first option!!

Delicious breakfast but don’t wait variety of options just the basics! No refill water bottles to the room , we bought from the closest supermarket but when i asked at the breakfast two times they gave me for free. They have breakfast and coffee area but is working until 15:00-16:00! They do not have lunch or dinner at the hotel ( because of the location you can find everything around you or order from applications)

We loved this hotel! Was in Athens for work, internet was great, was able to work from my room. Very comfortable bed. Black out blinds and very quiet for sleeping. Excellent air conditioning. Shower was lovely. Room was clean and modern. Breakfast was amazing! It was a cooked breakfast, you could pick how you wanted your eggs, loads of different breaks, fruit, granola, tea, juice etc. You could eat in the lovely dining area or they brought it to my room once morning when I was working during breakfast hours. The location was very good, walking distance to Athens city centre. The gyros place nearby was sooo good and next door to that, the lukumades balls were to die for! We had so much fun walking around in the afternoons and evenings. Would stay again! The area felt very safe.

Nothing.

A Perfect Stay – Highly Recommended! Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional! The location is absolutely unbeatable – right in the heart of the city, making it easy to walk anywhere. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Spotlessly clean and well-maintained. But what truly made our experience outstanding was the incredible staff. A huge thank you to the receptionist Lefterios, to the housekeeping manager, and the reception manager – they went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect stay. Every request was met with a smile, and their hospitality made our trip to Athens even more special. If you’re looking for the best hotel experience in Athens, this is the place to stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Very good location, very nice stuff, always ask and want to help

the toilet and shower has only glass door and not a room. if you want to go to toilet in the middle of the night and you turn on the light you may wake up your partner

Huge Room and bathroom! Incluiding a big size bed, coach and a big closet. It was very comfortable using all that space :) The location is great, close to the main street (only 2 minutes walk).

When asked for more towels at night time, the receptionist said there is no more housekeeping and it will return only in the morning. Our room was facing a bar/restaurant that was very noisy at night time. For those who need quite to get asleep, this is not the room for you. It takes a lot of time to get the omelette at breakfast.

The Hotel is modern, clean and centrally located in Athens. The breakfast area on the rooftop is very nice. I wouldn’t recommend getting the breakfast option tho, it is pricey and the options are very limited. However, the friendliness and utter professionalism of the staff made up for it. You can walk around central Athens from the location of the hotel in Monastiraki; access to all public transport options is very convenient.

In general, the hotel looks much nicer on pictures than it does in real life. The design feels a bit lacklustre and outdated. In case you are one of those people who appreciate aesthetics in their hotels of choice, I recommend seeking another accommodation (especially at this price).

What an incredible experience it is to stay at The Editor, I absolutely loved being there, I stayed over 3 nights and it was the perfect introduction to Athens. Great location, great design, great rooms. The breakfast chef and staff are fantastic, so accommodating and the chef made the best scrambled eggs with fresh chilli. All the staff had excellent customer service skills. It’s a beautiful hotel, excellent service and exceptional staff.

Nothing.

The hotel was beautifully designed, very spacious suite, enormous bathroom. Great attention to detail! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was really the best we could ask for. The rooftop breakfast was of high quality products, finely served. Not your type styled buffet, perfect details and very tasty. The chef was on site giving guests exactly what the wanted with a smile. Had the most amazing eggs breakfast and freshly made pancakes- so delicious and satisfying. The front desk was so generous letting us keep our luggage in the lobby after checkout and allowing us to use the bar area to organize our luggage after a day of shopping. We loved the hotel!! So worth the money and better value than the previous hotel we stayed at. Will no doubt recommend this hotel and of course this will be our permanent choice every time we visit Athens. Thanks Editor for making this an amazing stay for us!! ❤️

Just a few minutes away from Monastariki metro and square, with the M3 line direct to and from the airport. Walking distance to all the key ancient sites, shops, restaurants. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast set us up until about 3pm. For a central location the side street is quite quiet and the soundproofing was good.

I am not such a fan of no separation in the room (103) of bathroom facilities, but they were in opaque cubicles; not really a problem for us as a married couple. Cleaning service was excellent, the free water on day 1 of a five night stay was not renewed, but tea and coffees were.

the AC was working super well and it kept working even when we were out, so you come back to a warm room. the executive suite was extremely spacious and in general the design is amazing. loved how cleaned the shower area was. loved the staff. loved the luggage room and that there was a receptionist 24/7. The location was THE BEST. would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back to it.

i think it would be super nice to get the coffee capsules and shampoos restocked everyday. also you could here people talking in the corridor which was a little annoying. also a trash can near the sink is necessary.
