We had a small room with little daylight, but it was really quiet, clean and with a tiny bathroom attached. It's perfect for a short stay and there's a lot of common spaces, that make it even more convenient (like a kitchen, roof balcony, luggage storage etc.). It's great value for money - you get what you see, a little worn out but well kept with comfy bed and good working air con. The receptionists are very helpful and always there. The location is great, you can walk to the sights and there's a metro station in only a few minutes distance.

For the price we paid, I couldn't have done any better. We were walking distance from all major attractions. Great bars and restaurants right on our doorstep, nevermind the amazing view of the Acropolis from the rooms with balconies. Its also walking distance from the metro, so easy coming from, and going to the airport. I would 100% book here again.

The wifi was not great, and there was no mini fridge in the room. There is a luggage lift, but you can only access the room by stairs - this is fine if you're young and fit. This place is great otherwise. That was the only negatives.

This is my third time staying in this Hotel and I'm satisfied evertime! It will always be my preferred accommodation when visiting Athens. The location is excellent, close to everything important: Monastiraki, Acropolis, Plaka, Syntagma,metro station,restaurants, supermarket,etc. The metro in Monastiraki Square,5 minutes away by foot, takes you straight from and to the airport and the Piraeus port,so very conveniently located. The staff was very helpful and even stored my bag for a few hours after checking out.

Friendly helpful staff. Fantastic location for bars, a variety of food and 5 mins walk from Monistiraki Metro and Train Station. Basic but clean comfortable rooms with air conditioning and plenty of hot water. Great view of the Parthenon from Upper balconies. There is a communal balcony on the 5th floor if you don't have a private balcony.

All access is via stairs, although there is a lift for luggage, so the 4th and 5th floors are a bit of a climb for people with mobility issues.

The location was amazing for the price. Never had to walk far and a very short walk to the metro station. The room was all i needed to explore Athens. The bathroom was fine and everything worked well. Every person at the reception was so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place highly if you want to explore Athens

No lift except for luggage so a long walk up the stairs to get to your room if you are on a high floor.

The location is perfect, at the heart of Athens. The view from my room was awesome, you can see the Acropolis. The apartment was the same like in the pictures. If you want to go on a few days, travel a lot and only be in the hotel for resting and sleeping, this is a good place. This is a perfect 1 star hotel for the price (if you don't want anything fancy and if you are prioritizing the budget).

The bathroom is small but it's okay.

Fantastic location, extremely kind and helpful staff. Very central and well connected. 24h reception and you can leave your luggage after checkout. Clean and basic room. Nice balcony - overlooks a lively square and if you lean out you can see the Acropolis! Fresh towels daily. Great value for money.

Overall we liked it a lot but the cons: Very basic (we knew that from the reviews). Double bed felt small, maybe because it's against the wall. Steep stairs - ok for us but watch out if you have bad knees!

A friend stayed at Tempi Hotel 20 years ago, so when we and that friend and another decided to meet up in Athens, we all booked a room here. We opted for the balcony room with view which looked out over a local square. The location is absolutely brilliant for walking to every site and restaurant you need. We spent a few more days here again towards the end of the trip & it’s terrific as a base. The rooms are super clean, the managers can organise taxis and anything you need, and the whole team makes you feel you are really welcome. We will be back again in 2 weeks before we all fly home and will be staying here again as it will be a lovely way to end our holiday.

We’ve now been in Greece for 4 weeks and stayed in various hotels. This hotel is by far great value for money and there was nothing we didn’t like.

The location is perfect - it is in a very lively area, and close walking distance to everything. Despite being in a busy area, noise is not an issue. It is close to lots of shops and excellent food/dining options. The place also feels secure/safe given the 24 hour reception. We were warmly greeted each time we came and went from the accommodation. We were lucky to havema balcony and view of the acropolis from our room on the 4th floor! Other pros of this accommodation is a comparatively earlier check-in time. Shared bathroom is not too bad surprisingly, good water pressure and it is all kept clean.

Wifi did not work well in our room at all. There are lots of stairs to climb if you’re on the 4th floor, but this is not uncommon in Europe! They have a lift available for luggage only.
