Great location and amazing view of the acropolis (which is why we booked it!) Offered a free breakfast for one of the mornings of our stay, we didn’t make use of this as already had plans but this was very generous! Gave us a small bottle of ouzo as a leaving gift, alongside an offer of a discount for a future stay at the property.

Rooms could have better soundproofing, we could hear other guests outside of the room. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, we also experienced the issue with the toilet flush. Every time you flushed the toilet (regardless of the lid being open or closed and whether you pressed the large or small button), water splashed out of the toilet onto the floor and the toilet seat (whilst we were assured the water is clean water, this was still unpleasant to deal with). The partition (in place of a door) which separates the shower from the rest of the bathroom is incredibly small and meant the majority of the bathroom floor was flooded after using the shower.

From the moment we arrived, the staff carried 2 heavy suitcases to our rooms for us. They even have a stairlift and a lift to cater for everybody. The reception were amazing, prior to the stay, during the stay and even after. They have been outstanding, so professional and will do absolutely anything for you. They replied to my questions straight away, and all with a genuine smile. The breakfast in the downstairs restaurant was incredible too, and included! The roof garden was beautiful, with a free drink which was so generous. Location couldn't be better. You just have to stay here! We will be telling everybody about this place and will be surely returning.

The fact we had to go home and leave.

On arrival, Athina was so helpful and welcoming, with lots of tips and advice; infact all personnel were amazing throughout our 3 day stay. Our room was the only one on the same floor as the roof terrace, which is spacious and peaceful, with fabulous views; we chose to have our chosen complimentary welcome drink up here. We like the set up with the restaurant below; plenty of seating inside and out and very friendly, accommodating staff with added bonus of 15% discount! The included breakfast was excellent and plentiful - you just choose any main, fruit juice and hot beverage from the menu (the avocado toast was to die for!). On returning to Athens, we would definitely stay here again!

Really loved the staff , location, roof deck and the breakfast. We ended up with the room located on the deck. We ate breakfast on the deck each morning and really loved that. The view from the deck to the Acropolis was really nice too especially at night. We also ate dinner at the restaurant associated with the hotel and it was very good. We noticed that the area around the hotel was noisy and lively into the late hours of the night but we didn't hear anything once we were in our room which made it really easy to sleep.

Only thing that was a little bit of a pain was getting luggage up one flight of stairs to get to the elevator. Other than that it was great.

The location was great—right in the heart of Athens. The staff were very nice and helpful. We arrived early in the morning and requested an early check-in. They did their best and kindly gave us our room much earlier than expected, also helping us with our luggage. The breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was excellent. We also had dinner there and were very satisfied.

The view from our room was of a wall, and there were four large air conditioning units right outside our window, which caused both noise and heat. However, since we were very tired and just wanted to sleep — and they had kindly given us the room earlier than scheduled — we didn’t ask to change it.

Really nice hotel in the center of Athens and within walking distance of every major landmark and going out districts. The room was cozy and clean, with a balcony from which we had an amazing view of the Acropolis. The staff, from the receptionist to the restaurant waiters, and including the cleaning ladies, were all welcoming and friendly. They also did their best to be helpful, especially when our trip got postponed by a day because of a national strike. The district is lively, with lots of bars and restaurants around. The Monastiraki subway station is a 5mn walk away.

The water pressure is too strong, so water from the toilet flush would often spill out of the bowl. The district is very lively, so expect a bit of noise until late at night (very bearable with the windows closed). The hotel is also facing a church, the bell of which will ring very loudly in the morning (at around 7am, if we remember correctly). Light sleepers, be warned.

If you are looking for a stay right in the heart of Athens, being welcomed by an exceptional and dedicated team (thanks Ria for all your kindness during our stay and even prior to our arrival, quickly answering to all our messages), having a spacious, comfortable and well decorated room, full of interesting amenities, being surprised by small meaningful gifts offered by the staff, that make you feel special (trust me you are not, since everyone has this same kind of special treatment!), this is the right place to be. What a wonderful team and cozy boutique hotel. The night view from the rooftop is awesome and the main ancient Greek attractions are a few steps away.

Having stayed just for one night 🥲.

We stayed in this lovely hotel for two nights. It was the best choice for us, family of 3. The location was the best to explore Athens, get the spirit and the buzz of the city. The room was small but very clean, modern and classy. The beds were comfortable, towels soft. We really enjoyed the terrace for the view and the drinks. The hotel staff was always so smiley, friendly and helpful. We couldn’t believe how friendly this hotel was. On the arrivals they gave us free breakfast for two mornings in their taverna. The breakfast was delicious and sufficient for the whole day. They also offered us good buy drink on the terrace gratis, and on check out discount on our next stay, plus little Ouzo bottles for luck. This was the best choice for us and we hope to return.

The hotel is perfectly located! The staff is extremely friendly! There is a local restaurant downstairs where breakfast is served, which is included in the hotel stay. You can choose your breakfast from the menu, it’s not a buffet. For five days in a row, I had avocado toast because it was perfectly prepared! The rooms are beautiful, the only downside is that there are no doors on the shower cabin in the bathroom, and the bathroom is small, so after one shower, everything got wet. Water splashed around the shower area a lot. That’s the only complaint, and I hope they will fix it soon. Everything else is a solid 10!

The only issue is that the shower cabin doesn't have a door.

Athens City View truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and informative, with everything clearly explained. The room was spacious, and the street-facing balcony offered a lovely view. Despite the lively buzz outside, the soundproofing was excellent—our sleep was completely undisturbed thanks to the exceptionally comfortable beds. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. If any place in Athens deserves an exceptional rating, it’s this one. Thank you for making our visit so memorable—I’ll definitely be returning in the future.

It was a little tricky to find the entrance but that is no good reason why one should not go ahead and book it for their stay.
