Great location. Easy walk to many sites, including Archeological Museum. Staff friendly and very helpful. Comfy bed. Room with balcony view of Acropolis lovely but overlooks busy nightlife area.

Rooms overlooking pedestrian area noisy until wee hours of the morning. No restaurant, though multiple food options nearby. No lobby, so nowhere to sit other than your room.

The staff at this hotel are amazing, they will go above and beyond to help you. They will find anything you need or explain where a certain place is and how to get there. The room with a view we absolutely loved, loved getting up in the morning and going to my balcony and seeing the Acropolis, it was spacious and it had that old feel to it. Location is the best ever, right in the middle of everything. We had restaurants, cafes, and all the shopping next to us. We could not have chosen a better place. Will definitely visit again.

There is nothing to complain about

This hotel was fantastic as far as the location was concerned. We walked right into the activity of the city, yet we could not hear anything at night. It is an old apartment building that they turned into a hotel. Very eclectic.

There really was not anything I did not like. It was not a high end hotel. But if you like being right in the center of the activities of Athens, you will be happy you chose this hotel. It was just a 15 minute walk to the Acropolis and we could walk too many other attractions within 5 to 30 minutes. If you are handicapped, this will probably not be the place to go. They did have an elevator, which was a benefit, but you had to walk upstairs to get to the front desk.

The staff were so helpful and always available for recommendations or to book transfers. It was super easy to communicate as they use Whatsapp. The location is PERFECT for a first trip to Greece, super easy to explore and wander towards the Acropolis. I was told there were two rooms available for what I had booked and I was given an option of a quieter room with less of a view or a room with a great view of the square but a bit noisier from the street below (which doesn’t bother me at all). I happily took the room with a view and had a really lovely stay. They supply complimentary cold water and soft drinks that you can restock yourself which was a nice touch. Would stay again!

This is a quirky little hotel with heart. Comfortable room and caring staff that went out if their way to accommodate… Would definitely stay again…

For a single woman traveling alone it may not be the most ideal area to walk around at night. The little market square adjacent to the hotel was lively till the wee hours, however there are people on the street asking for money, don’t know about pick pocketing… I only stayed over night…so didn’t get to know the area well. Wou kg e have loved to venture over to the flea market! The hotel name is not visible just a beautiful huge door that has a key you turn to enter… It is hidden from view, and the street is densely populated…

Our taxi from the airport dropped us within a short walk down the busy pedestrian corridor in front of the hotel, and we easily found the big wooden entrance door marked 27, with the magic key ready for us to enter, it added a bit of intrigue! They were very helpful in stowing our overnight bags until the room was ready (we were early), and kept us updated. We were both travel weary, my daughter with a semi-sprained ankle, and me with a strained back, so we loved the big, comfortable king bed, and short distance to the Ancient Agora entrance. And the view of the Acropolis from our room was unbelievable, and since my daughter knew she wouldn't be able to climb to the Acropolis during our short stay, she felt satisfied with fully experiencing it throughout our time in the room, lit up at night, sunlit at sunrise. The room service is amazing, we were brought wine, snacks and ice, and extra nespresso pods within minutes of requesting. And they recommended a restaurant we were so happy with, one of our highlight meals, and we are fussy about authentic quality meals. We had not planned this part of our trip, but when we realized our flight layover was in Athens, we couldn't resist, so on short notice set up this overnight stay in Athens, and it was so worth it. We used a luggage storage service (safe/fast!) at the airport, and just carried in overnight packs, and were able to visit the Agora in the afternoon, taxi'd up to the Archeology Museum before dinner, came back and strolled the neighborhood to the restaurant, visited a rooftop bar for afterdinner cocktails, had good night sleep, then I went back to the Agora in the early morning, had it all to myself, then made the pilgrimage up to the Acropolis, before collecting my baggage using the train (easy walking distance) to the airport. If we'd stayed longer we would enjoyed shopping in the many high-quality stores in the neighborhood. Next time!

I can't think of anything.

Basically everything. From the moment we got to the hotel everything was good. We were treated to wine to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The location is incredible, the room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was/is just awesome. They use Whatsapp a lot and it is very easy to.communicate with them for information and directions. WE were informed of the many things around and of places to eat etc and we received advice to go and visit Cape Sounion by car and we got to swim in crystal clear water. The availability of various drinks and water in the room was excellent especially during a heatwave. I highly recommend the Hotel. There was one problem but it had nothing to do with the hotel except that the noie from a nearby "bar" caused a lot of disturbance however the owner of the hotel came over after midnight to confront the staff of the bar and handled the disturbance immediately. I was impressed with the care that we received for the nuisance we had to deal with.

I don't think anything could have been better. The location is right in the center of Athens incredibly close to everything. The buzz of people walking around or eating below could be bothersome for some but then don't go in the center of the city. If you want to visit places, eat well and enjoy the sites of Athens this is the place to be.

We stayed for one night and will definitely come back. The location is perfect, right in the center of everything, with restaurants, shops, and attractions just steps away. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and clean. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

The only downside is that the hotel has no parking, and the nearest option is about an 8-minute walk.But you don't need a car in Athens, we were passing on the way to the airport.
