From the moment we arrived NOTHING was too much trouble. We were met at the airport and collected in a luxury executive vehicle. We were dropped near the hotel/suite, as there is no vehicular access and were met by a porter who then took our bags for us to our room. We were met by Maria, who took us to our room and explained that we’d been given an upgrade. The room was out of this world. We had our own patio area with indoor and outdoor hot tubs. The outdoor pool had a view over Fira harbour, overlooking the volcano and the most wonderful sunsets! Inside the suite is a smart tv with Netflix etc, a kitchen with fridge, coffee making facilities etc and plenty of bottled water. There was a spacious bedroom, a dressing room and a lovely bathroom with fabulous rainfall shower and not forgetting the indoor hot tub, so you can relax with your favourite wine whilst watching your favourite tv shows!! Breakfast is served in their own restaurant, Sunsha Fiesta which is a stone’s throw away, overlooking the volcano. Fresh croissants, pain au chocolate, rolls and a charcuterie board, coffee and water and then a serving of the breakfast of the day, ie eggs Benedict, avocado and scrambled eggs on toast etc. There are not enough superlatives to describe Maria, she is the most friendly, welcoming lady! Absolutely NOTHING was too much trouble for her. Her knowledge of the island is second to none and she was able to make recommendations and arrangements for whatever excursions or entertainment you wish. Whenever I messaged her, a response was back within 10-15 minutes max. The room was cleaned meticulously daily, all towels changed and the patio area cleaned. There were towels for your sun loungers as well. All staff involved cannot do enough for you. I can honestly recommend Casa Sunsha and definitely Maria to anyone visiting the island. You will not be disappointed and this venue will make your trip worthwhile. We will be coming back for a second visit and wouldn’t stay

Casa Sunsha is perfectly located. So much so, every day the many cruise ship tourists take photos of the hotel and the Adriatic/Caldera from the street above. In short, it's THE PLACE to be. Our room Suite 1 was on the lower level of the hotel on the walking street below, which proved to be a benefit. We had a private spa with uninterrupted views. This was truly spectacular and special. We enjoyed our welcome wine there. The donkeys passing by on their way too and from their work (for transporting ship goers up and down to the port) was a lovely bonus. Our room was a renovated traditional cave room, which was just lovely. Always cool temp and something totally different to what we have experienced before. Plenty of space and function. Maria and all the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating with exceptional service start to finish. Nothing was a problem but rather a pleasure. Better than when we visit our own family.

It's not that I didn't like it, but as with all the accommodation on the Caldera cliff side, there are plenty of stairs to navigate. This is the price you pay for the best views in the world. Actually its a benefit thinking about it, as we didn't put on weight despite the amazing meals we enjoyed.

The location was excellent. The hotel had a very good manager - Maria - who assisted on ALL matters. The breakfast was not very inclusive but very fulfilling. The sharing pool was quite nice with a superb view.

The only issue we had with the hotel was the noise from the music from the hotel. If you are looking for a quiet holiday, this is not the place. The music was on till around 1 AM. But couple of nights we stayed up late and enjoyed the music at the bar which was quite nice.

The rooms were absolutely beautiful and the views were gorgeous. Well located right in the middle of town. Service was excellent and Anastasia was fantastic and such a help with everything. I would highly recommend! I have nothing but praise for the staff and the amenities.

Nothing! I would probably advise booking transfers through the hotel to get some help if you have a lot of luggage as it’s a bit of a walk from the road and the narrow cobbled streets. But it’s well worth it at the other side!

Stunning location and even more stunning property. If you want great views and an excellent evening vibe, then this is your place to stay. The room blew us away, it was spotless and absolutely gorgeous. Staff were attentive and tended to our needs. The shared pool was breath taking. Would stay again x

Not ideal for young Children if you want an early night…. the music is amazing but not so good if you are trying to sleep. Pack ear plugs x

Our Hostess, Maria, was exceptional. She was very attentive to our needs and made our stay quite relaxing and enjoyable. The cleaners are very efficient and thorough. The restaurant was amazing. The location of the hotel was perfect with restaurants and other night life activities very close.

You can’t flush down your toilet paper in the toilet because of the age of the building. However the cleaning staff were exceptional and efficient in making sure the trash was removed promptly.

Casa Sunsha was incredible. Right in the middle of all the action, in downtown Fira and close to everything and extremely convenient. The room was gorgeous, huge and spotless ! The views were beyond incredible. The staff was friendly, accommodating and extremely gracious. Breakfast was delicious and changed everyday. Irene was so warm and lovely and asked us to whatsapp or call her any time of day or night. Overall it was fabulous, the location, views and the room itself were excellent. I would stay here again and again.

If I had to pick something, it was that there was no iron box but they were super helpful and offered us a steamer. We had a wonderful time and no complaints as such.

The hotel is located in the best point in Fira (thira) and the atmosphere is exceptional. The breakfast was great, but compared to 5-star hotels, the choices are limited. The weather and view there are so fascinating. The design of Hotel is Lovely. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Serving Tea in the room was not possible since there was no kettle and tea bags although on the site it was mentioned there is. Also, there was no telephone in the room and we should call the staff mobiles.

The location was phenomenal and i dont think you could get a better view all day and night. Staff knew you by first name and were exceptional. Maria was there at any point we had a question and went above and beyond for her guests. The hotel was always impeccable and clean

The location, rooms, hospitality of the staff, food( breakfast/ brunch) and evening entertainment.

Wish there were not as many stairs to reach the property. It will be hard to reach for people with knee or leg issues. But that is the case in general for all of Fira/ oui properties.
