A perfect location, having uninterrupted view of the sea. Although there are few more hotels between this hotel and the sea but the town is located on a hill, hotels are situated at different levels and the view from any sea view hotel is not interrupted. In Santorini, you need to walk to your hotels on steps leading to your hotel as Taxi transport is not allowed to reach near most of the hotels. However the hotel was not very far off from the taxi drop point and the hotel staff reach up to the taxi to take your luggage down. Nearly each room has its own balcony and a central terrace to enjoy good buffet breakfast with sea view. Rooms are very spacious, comfy beds with suitable sitting arrangement in the room. Cleanliness level was good. Excellent free WiFi. Hot water in taps all the time. The hotel is located right near the most wide road of the shopping area having many restaurants and shopping places. Bus stand and Taxi stand are at a comfortable walking distance. Everyone told me to stay at OIA in Santorini but I opted to stay at this hotel in FIRA. I opted to stay at FIRA because i wanted to stay near the transport and activity hub and I give myself 100 percent marks for my decision. OIA is marketing itself to claim as the best place to witness the most beautiful sunset in the sea. However I studied the layout of the Island very carefully before make choice of the hotel in Santorini. Santorini Island is a moon shaped Island with FIRA in the center and OIA at one tip of the Island. Both these placed are looking at the same spot in the sea and the same sunset view. Hence I enjoyed the most beautiful sunset of Santorini from the baloney of my room at this hotel. You will find very good ice cream, food places, restaurants, shopping places and night life all nearby. But dont underestimate the beautiful morning view from the hotel Terrace.

The money safe in my room to place valuables was out of order. I understand that the hotel is on a cliff and there are deferent levels in the hotel but I never expected to have bathroom a step down. This can lead to some unexpected injury at night while going to bathroom. I suggest that there should be some rope light to mark the level difference so that one become cautious of the step in bathroom at night.

The location is fantastic. The room is beautiful and large with a balcony that has unobstructed views of the sunset. The breakfast is delicious. The owner/manager is so lovely and goes above and beyond to make your stay wonderful! Highly recommend!

The shower is too small and open. There are cups and glasses inside the room, but nothing to make a drink with - spoons, tea etc.

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful rooms, stunning views, excellent breakfast, and the friendliest staff in Santorini. The location is truly the best, right in the heart of the island with the most breathtaking and iconic caldera views. You simply cannot find a more practical and central spot for exploring everything Santorini has to offer. Dora, the owner, was extremely accommodating and made us feel right at home, even surprising us with a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy on our private balcony overlooking the caldera. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start each day. We loved every moment of our stay at Delion Hotel and highly recommend it for a romantic getaway, honeymoon, or simply the ultimate Santorini Tom and Dayanna

First of all, the hotel’s location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the city, just steps away from the bus stop and major attractions. We also loved our room; it was comfortable and inviting. Breakfast was served with a stunning view, making our mornings even more special. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I don’t know their names, but we’d like to thank the lovely red-haired lady and the tall, polite gentleman who took such great care of us. He even went the extra mile and carried our luggage to the bus stop after check-out. Overall, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and I could recommend this hotel highly

Stunning view. Central location with access to all parts of Fira. Dona was always helpful and responsive- from booking until the end of our stay. Daniel met us at the transfer from the airport and helped us with baggage and getting to the Delion. He also prepared cocktails from the bar. Indoor cave or plunge pool is very refreshing during the hot summer (we had a heat wave!) Alexander (who said he was only Alexander the OK) is really GREAT. Alexander walked me to a store we had been to but couldn’t find again when we wanted to go back. Everyone took great care of us. We spent a day at Delion Sea View - Dona reserved us front line sun chaises at Kamari beach. Breakfast was plentiful - morning on the terrace, with the sun from behind - amazing! I’d love to return and stay at Delion View again!! They also helped arrange our transfers. Exceptional hospitality and attention to assisting guests. Felt like family!

We weren’t aware of (or missed) the “no cars and lots of stairs” aspect of caldera views in Fira. It was a challenge for one in our party. We’d like access to coffee before the 8am breakfast service. The noise of the late night scene of Fira would have been a challenge had we not needed the AC even at night.

Excellent service from Dona and her team Mr. Hamed & 2 other staffs. Breakfast was too good and took special care by preparing Vegan/Vegetarian breakfast at our request & special packed breakfast on the day of our early check out. Ms. Dona sent Mr. Hamed to pick up our luggages when we reached late and unable to find it. Ms. Dona sent her son early morning at 6 am to help us in taking the luggages to the taxi stand. Excellent location such as bus terminus 5 minutes walk, Indian restaurant nearby, beautiful cliff view facing the sea from our room. Hats off to Dona and her team.

Loved that the Delion staff could help us in ways we didn’t know we needed-they helped us arrange our transfers to restaurants and into town. They arranged the beach day for us and lunches. Breakfast was served daily-a great feast to see us off onto a great day. They were amazing. We were a party of 16 family members and felt very spoiled by the staff and Hotel .

What’s not to like? The views are amazing. The breakfast is amazing and the staff is amazing and the location is amazing. I could go on and on. There were 16 of us in our party and we had a perfect time.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Shops and restaurants were everywhere and even bus station was a walking distance. The room was spacious, very clean, had a nice balcony with the sea view. I’ve traveled a lot and stayed in many hotels in a past, but the staff in Delion by far was the friendliest one. Each morning, we got our nice breakfast on the porch, which was quite lovely. We also got any information regarding tour we wanted to take and upon our arrival and departure we were helped with our luggage. The hotel can also assist to make reservation to get to the airport, which is less expensive than booking taxi at the airport on the arrival.

What an incredible location! Well worth it just for that view right in the centre of Fira. Close to everything. The place is gorgeous with a mix of modern and culture. Beautiful family owned accomodation. Simple breakfast would go from great to outstanding with a few extra touches. Would highly recommend.

A very firm bed in our room. Some may find it okay but it was too firm for us, woke with a sore back. A mattress topper is a good idea. I also suggest a couple pillows per person will always offer extra comfort. The owner and son were astounding and although the other staff members were chatty they look miserable the poor things. I know they work hard in the high season but I couldn’t help to think they were not happy :(

Friendly and attentive staff. Good value for the location with breakfast. I love that it’s family operated business and the owner is there everyday to make sure that guests are taken care of. It’s a small hotel which makes it more charming. We didn’t have a view from our room unlike the other rooms with a balcony and view but it was still nice. I would recommend to friends and family.

Shower curtain didn’t go all around which made the floor wet when we took showers. Makes it more slippery getting out. Wish we had a microwave in the room.
