The room was a lot roomier than anticipated and the view was AMAZING! Was so happy to choose this place as it was in the heart of Fira and close to everything. Breakfast was delicious and great communication before and during to ensure our stay was perfect! We got lots of recommendations on places to check out and secret paths and views that typical tourists wouldn’t find online. Felt very cared about during our stay and it was amazing

Wifi was weaker in some spots in our room but I feel like that could be from the structure of the building with the thicker walls. Otherwise nothing to say bad about the place!

The property was exactly like the photos displayed on the booking site. Before arrival, the staff made contact with us regarding our stay, making sure everything’s ok and asked whether any special arrangements need to be made before the stay which gave us a lot of reassurance. On the day of arrival, they reminded us that there is a free service to help with luggage which made our lives easier. Upon arrival, free early check in was offered to us and we were able to enjoy the private pool before the official check in time. The staff was very patient and took a lot of time to not only introduce the room, explain Santorini, places we could visit which we really appreciate. She even offered us free wine and extra breakfast items to make sure we were full and happy before we left the property. I was very impressed by the service and politeness of the staff at the property. If I ever visit Santorini again in the future, this is for sure the place I will be staying (for sure). Highly recommend this place!

In general, you need to be somewhat fit to navigate the ups and downs of Santorini. Getting to and from Modernity Suites was no exception. Luckily, Alex met us to handle our luggage. Also, we were able to get the room that was featured on Booking, or we would not have been completely satisfied.

We overlooked the fact that breakfast was not served until after 8:30. We are early birds and were ready to go well before that time. For example, on the day we hiked from Fira to Oia, we were not available for a complete breakfast. However, Ada fixed a nice tray of fruit and croissants for us to have something to eat before embarking on our hike. Also, when making reservation, be sure to be specific as to what room you would like. The other superior suite that was shown to us initially paled by comparison to the great bedroom/bathroom that we were able to stay in due to its availability at the time of our visit.

Ada, our host, was incredibly welcoming and always on hand to assist with anything we required. She expertly arranged bookings for activities we were keen on and provided invaluable insights into the best places to explore on the island. Alex, who served us breakfast each morning, was exceptionally courteous and even lent a hand with our luggage. Throughout our stay, we felt cared for like part of the family. The breathtaking view from the jacuzzi, overlooking the serene sea and majestic volcano, was simply divine. The property's location couldn't have been better, situated amidst all the conveniences one could desire: shops, bars, restaurants, as well as easy access to taxis and buses.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

We loved absolutely everything about Modernity Suites. Our host, Ada, stayed in communication with us, gave specific instructions on getting to the hotel from the main road, provided information on parking if renting a car, and they arrange for someone to help carry your luggage to and from the main road and the hotel. The room itself was exactly as pictured, immaculately clean, very quiet, and the beds were quite comfortable. We enjoyed our private hot tub overlooking the caldera and our breakfast each morning was filling and delicious with plenty of options to choose from—very accommodating for special requests. The location is excellent in the middle of Fira with many restaurants, bars, shops right outside your door, but also extremely quiet—we slept early and were never awakened by the nearby bars. The views from our own hotel were some of the best in Fira—completely uninterrupted by crowds. This was a truly lovely hotel, they pay close attention to details—nice large towels for the shower, cleaned and tidied every day, replenished shampoos and soaps when they were used, bottled water included, slippers/robes provided. The staff at the hotel are so kind and helpful in every way. I would highly recommend this hotel and would happily choose this hotel again and again.

Centrally located, incredible views, fantastic breakfast, great facilities (huge bathroom in the suite). Ada was the best host we’ve ever had - she made sure our stay was enjoyable and easy. She arranged for one of the staff members to carry up our bags from the street (lots of steps) and she communicated with us via WhatsApp at all times, which made organising breakfast and transfers very easy. She sent us lots of recommendations for activities and restaurants. We couldn’t be more grateful to Ada for a special stay.

Ada was amazing, answering to every request , sending useful information about the island , the attractions, the transport, serving a delicious breakfast to the room at the time we asked for . Comfortable, very clean and cosy room with a small private jaccuzi on the terrasse in front of a stunning view to the sea and the Caldera . Very good location of the suites , close to the restaurants and shops . We really enjoyed our vacation in " Modernity suites" , thank you Ada

Great location with perfect view, super friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Ada is the best host I’ve met so far. She tried to make us feel comfortable in every possible way, arranged everything for us to check in earlier than usual time. We were also given options to choose our room. She even helped us to plan our activities there and was very responsive, whenever we needed something she was just one text away. We would recommend “modernity suites” as the best place to enjoy your stay in Santorini.

We were met at check-in by the property owner and his property manager, Vladimir. Afterwards, Vladimir showed us to our room, which had a spectacular view of the caldera. Our room came with a private hot tub overlooking the caldera. Each day we ordered breakfast which was delivered to our room. Vladimir was attentive to our comfort and we appreciate his attention to detail very much.

We are in love with the property. The view is superb. They only have 4-5 rooms so make sure you booked early. The receptionist, Ada is excellent and provide us with all related information. Ada also arranged airport transfer (especially those who bring heavy bags and charged 35Euro per trip). The breakfast is awesome. There is sitting area in the room, equipped with 2 TVs (although most of the time, the signal is quite poor). The room is also being cleaned every day.

No direct access to the main road (as you expected since the property is at the cliff). The stair at the property is also quite steep, so be careful when bringing in heavy bags.
