The view of the hotel is breathtaking and the location is great, in centre of Fira and very close to central bus station, just about 15 minutes walk and you can get the local buses to go to the beach and different areas of Santorini, lots of shops, cafe and restaurant, even though it’s in centre but once you are in the room very quiet and peaceful. Chris has been very nice and helpful and the rest of the staff are kind and friendly. Room was big enough and comfortable with all facilities like iron, hair dryer and kettle. Breakfast was good enough. Definitely would recommend Kastro suites if you want to stay in centre of Fira close to everything.

Our recent stay in Santorini was absolutely wonderful, offering incredible value for money. The location couldn't have been better, putting us right in the heart of everything with easy access to all amenities and transportation options. The absolute highlight of our experience was our host, Gabriel. He was truly a star, guiding us to the best spots and top restaurants, which allowed us to make the most of our short time in Santorini. His recommendations were invaluable! While the pool isn't large and might disappoint those expecting to swim laps, it didn't bother us at all since we spent our days exploring the beautiful beaches. And speaking of views, the terrace offered the most amazing panorama! Overall, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this accommodation for a memorable Santorini getaway.

The location was absolutely perfect! Tucked away under the restaurant and beside the shopping area. Near food and fun but also quiet. All our friends were so impressed with the location and said they’d stay at kastro suites next time. Very clean rooms. We did not use the pool because the island had so many other beauties for us to enjoy. Complementary breakfast was excellent. The area outside of our room had a beautiful seating area to chill. And the staff was so nice!!

It exceeded our expectations. Usually hotel rooms in Greece are very small but even the bathroom was large. We liked everything!

What a view!! I actually don’t think the photos really show you how amazing this place is. In the heart of Thira (the cable car is across the road) so many food options at your doorstep. The staff were amazing and met our transfer at the main road and carried our bags to the hotel. Our family room with view was HUGE! I definitely didn’t expect it to be this large. 3 bathrooms! We would highly recommend this accommodation, breakfast was also so delicious and the best we had on our 5 week holiday through Europe.

We are family of 1 mature adult and 3 young adults. Kastro suites was more than comfortable for us. Mario and Sophia were fantastic hosts in looking after their guests, very friendly and excellent at giving ideas on where to go what to do, they organised our transfers and collected us and our suitcases from the Main Street. Our Suite was great for our family, clean comfortable with spectacular views. Whilst the sofa beds in the living room were a little hard for our taste we did manage and had a great nights sleep. There was a courtyard out the front of our room with table and chairs and fantastic egg chairs to sit and lounge in front of the view. Mario served us breakfast daily that was beautiful. Continental style with fresh Greek yoghurt, fruit, pastries, eggs, breads, condiments and tea/coffee or fruit juice. The location was just perfect! Close to shops, town square, amenities, everything is walking distance. The suites are situated close to the gondola that takes the cruise passengers back to the tender dock. When there are many cruise ships in the area can become very over crowded but once you walk into Kastro you leave the hustle and bustle behind!

The suite was very large and comfortable with breathtaking caldera views from the windows and patio. The staff was so helpful - they recommended restaurants, made dinner reservations, and arranged transfers from the airport and to the port. Mario was the best! He carried our luggage from the road to/from our suite and served us breakfast on the patio every day. He was very kind and friendly. Location was amazing, right in the heart of Fira with lots of shops and restaurants close by. We especially loved the spacious patio with its spectacular views. And we enjoyed watching the donkeys go down to the port every morning :)

The living room had air conditioning but the bedroom did not, so it was quite warm for sleeping (there was a fan). Breakfast was very good, but it would have been nice if there was more variety from day to day. Wifi did not work very well.

Great location just below the cable car station, fabulous views over the caldera and Fira from the communal deck, even better at night! Similar view from the pool. The path to the old port where the cruises dock is just below so sounds of the donkeys going down in the morning and returning late afternoon might not be for everyone but we liked it! Both staff members were excellent as was the breakfast served on the above mentioned deck. The front gate is basically the start of the Fira to Oia 10km walk, a must do!!

Only one problem and nothing to do with Kastro suites.....two doors up is a small take away coffee/drinks shop that on a Saturday night becomes a pop up rave joint (if that's the right term), the doof doof music going until 5.30am!!! Apparently against the law but not enforced, Unbelievable as a lot of accommodation close by. The rooms on the pool level not affected by the noise, just the deck level ones

Location was great, the manager was great, very helpful stuff, the breakfast was a pleasant surprise! Bath towels and sheets changed daily. Had common pool and little seating area with amazing view!!

Bathroom needed some revamp the bathtab looked old and worn, the cleaning was ok although it looked like the bathtab and floors were not cleaned daily and the extra bed for the one child was uncomfortable.

Location was wonderful. The view from our patio was perfect. The location was right on the cliff overlooking the harbor and the caldera. The included continental breakfast was excellent and a perfect way to start the day. The waiter was extremely helpful and even helped to arrange our transportation to the ferry for the next phase of our trip.

The furniture and beds were very uncomfortable. Probably a good thing in that it caused us to spend very little time in the room and we were thus out and about in the city and island.

The view was amazing, the hospitality of staff was very welcoming and helpful. The location was very convenient, you stepped out into a hive of activity but also felt private and calm within the guest areas.Highly recommend. Rooms were a great size, very clean. Access to the pool was a bonus. Breakfast was included, always a bonus point for that, and it was terrific. Don't miss this little gem.
