The location, views, staff service and accomodation style was outstanding.

This didn’t bother us, but something worth noting is that the hotel has a pathway nearby were donkeys regularly pass. There is a port at the bottom of this stair pathway were the day cruise ship visitors dock so you can hear/see them from the balcony. It was not an issue at all, the room was still very private and quiet. There are stairs to the property which was fine for us but worth being mindful for other travellers.

This place is incredible. We stayed in Santorini for 24 hours and almost didn't leave the hotel, it was so nice. The views are wonderful, the staff are lovely, the breakfast is delicious and the jacuzzi is the icing on the cake. We'd love to stay there for longer.

It's a bit noisy outside but it didn't bother us inside the room. Also the stairs, but when you're in Santorini, I guess that's a common occurrence.

The staff, reception, upstairs restaurant, breakfast. Everything. Was absolutely perfect. I will recommend this hotel to everyone. The house keeping cleaned our room so well. The breakfast every day. The recommendations and support booking services from reception. I could literally go on forever. Oh and not to mention the view. The sunset from this place was bloody incredible. I will be back

Our stay in Santorini was absolutely perfect, thanks to the breathtaking view and peaceful atmosphere at Fanari Vista Suites and staff. Dimos, the concierge, went above and beyond every day - helping with recommendations, bookings and always checking in with genuine care. He made everything so easy. Fanari offers daily room cleaning and the cleaner was also fantastic - everything was spotless and it was clear she took great pride in her work. Lovely breakfast everyday on the balcony with a good selection of food. Huge thanks to Dimos and the team. Hopefully we come back again soon!

I can't imagine that there would be a better location and view in the whole of Fira, located directly above the start of the winding road down to the old port . Absolutely spectacular. No request was too much for the hostess Stavroula. The related Fanari restaurant was also spectacular, with service staff who made us feel like friends

Parking and getting luggage to the hotel through the streets of Fira. Better advance parking information such as a pin showing parking location/s and assistance with carrying luggage would have reduced initial stress of getting to the hotel, as there is no car access to the prime tourist area of Fira overlooking the caldera

5/5 stars! We had an unforgettable stay at Fanari Vista Suites! The location was exceptional, with breathtaking views of the caldera from our spacious room, which was cleaned daily. We loved our own private pool, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning. Stavroula was an amazing host, always checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. We also appreciated the 20% discount at Fanari restaurant and the kind gesture from Dimos, who prepared sandwiches for us when we missed breakfast for our early flight on the last morning. Highly recommended for an incredible Santorini experience!

What is not to like (love) at Fanari Vista Suites!! The view, as noted in other reviews, is second to none however it was the incredible service offered by Stavroula and Dimos that takes this stay to the next level! Nothing was a problem, they were both very professional and naturally friendly and kind. There is also a restaurant upstairs that we went to on two of our three nights - exceptional views, service and food plus you get a nice discount as you are staying at Fanari. Overall, staying at Fanari resulted in our first stay in Santorini being way beyond our expectations and I am already looking at going back in 2026!

Having to leave this wonderful place!

The property is in a wonderful location with spectacular views. Our room overlooked the caldera and it was lovely to sit on the patio for breakfast or a glass of wine. The full breakfast is delivered every morning with many great choices. I also highly recommend the Fanari Restaurant, just upstairs from the hotel. Food and service were great. Customer service was outstanding. Everyone was extremely helpful, very kind and welcoming. We arranged for transportation to and from the airport which worked out very well.

This was one of the finest hotels that we have ever visited. The facility was beautiful, clean and inviting. Our hosts were incredible, the best hospitality that we have ever experienced in 40 years of travel. Dimos and his brothers made us feel like part of the family. The lady at the front desk (I can’t remember how to spell her name) was so attentive and helpful. Their restaurant was also exceptional. This was just a fantastic experience!
