Our stay at Danaes Villa was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly felt like home. The room was cleaned every day, with new sheets and towels provided. Evi made delicious homemade sweets for breakfast, along with Greek yogurt and honey, coffee and orange juice. Evi was very welcoming and gave us helpful tips on what to do in Santorini. The villa is in a peaceful area, perfect for relaxing and just a 10-15 minute walk to Thira town. We enjoyed spending time by the pool and even made friends with Lili, the cat next door. We felt right at home at Danaes Villa and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santorini. It was in a quiet location about 15 mins from the caldera. Our host Evie was amazing, she was there to make us feel instantly comfortable on arrival. We had the most amazing breakfasts made for us each morning, the Greek yoghurt, cakes, and pancakes were delicious. The rooms are a perfect size and are cleaned every day before noon, each one off the ground floor had a balcony. Only about 10 rooms in the whole place so it won’t feel super busy. There’s a pool with sun beds, but for us the cool jacuzzi was where we cooled down every day. Great air con and a fridge in the room.

I recently stayed at Danae Villa during my trip to Santorini, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! The villa itself is charming, clean, and comfortable, but what really made the stay special was the warm hospitality of the host, Evi. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious homemade breakfast, prepared with care by Evi herself. The variety and freshness of the food were amazing, and it was the perfect way to start the day before exploring the island. The location of Danae Villa is great—just a short walk from the center of Fira, but quiet enough to relax after a long day. If you're looking for a place in Santorini that feels like a home away from home, Danae Villa is the perfect choice. I can't recommend it enough! Thank you, Evi, for making our stay so special!

It was very quiet and comfortable! Evi, the owner, is veey friendly and cares about the people on a personal level! She came to pick me up from the airport and she was willing to drop me anywhere I wanted! She provides also homemade apple pie, coffee and pancakes free of charge! I really recommend this place to anyone who wants to see the Greek hospitality!

The room was amazing and renovated! The only negative thing was that the wifi was not very strong (the signal was coming and going) and the blanket that I took from the wardrobe I am not sure if it was clean because it had some hair on it. Despite these, the room is really worth it!

Ella is one of the most hospitable owners I have ever come across. We reached the room late and realized we had misplaced our room keys. We reached out to her and she helped us with a spare one without creating a fuss or charging any fee. And she was really helpful in planning our days in Santorini better. We reached very early and Ella again was happy to accomodate us 6 hours before the check-in time. Truly an exceptional host managing a lovely quaint place. The facility itself is very homely and has a very peaceful vibe. The pool is well maintained and clean. The property is a 10 mins walk from the FIRA bus station, and helps one save a bomb on commute (1.6 euros per person per ride). Overall a great experience!

Evi was an amazing host. She was extremely kind and helpful. Before we arrived, she helped arrange transport from the port on late notice. When we arrived, she met the car outside and was so welcoming. She spent the time talking us through different things we could do in Santorini and was always around to answer any further questions we had. It was so lovely of her to provide coffee and cake each morning -- the icing on the cake! We would definitely recommend Danae Villa to a friend, such a little gem of a place to stay!

The location was great but it was a 10 minute walk uphill to the main town and bus station. This wasn't really an issue for us, and we were pleased to be out of the main area, but worth mentioning!

Convenient serene location- away from hustle and bustle of Fira, but in walkable distance (12 minutes walking, 5 minutes on atv/scooter). Very clean and spacious room with large bed. Lovely back yard area looking like tropical paradise with shared pool, jacuzzi (hot tub) and sun beds. Generally not often occupied, on couple of occasions we had this area to ourselves. Evi is an absolutely fantastic host, very helpful and accommodating. We have absolutely loved cakes and pancakes with coffee each morning.

We really enjoyed our stay at Danae Villa! Evie was so friendly and very helpful with any questions we had.and arranging other services. She provided us with great restaurant recommendations and locations to go visit on the island. There was coffee and a continental breakfast each morning. Our room was great and the entire facility is so well looked after. We were about a 10 minute walk from the busy areas but a nice and quite location to be located at. Nothing but good things to say about our stay.

Evi was an absolute pleasure to deal with, the place was in a great location, only about 7 mins walk from the actual Fira centre, our room was beautifully cleaned every single day, including towel change, we tend to do our own food while travelling so we’ve booked a room with kitchenette and Evi was super accommodation to any additional needs we’ve had including place/ travel recommendations. She’s added a lovely personal touch by gifting us a little souvenirs which made it even more special, she’s an excellent host who will make you feel super welcome and make your stay an absolute delight
