This hotel is simply perfect, very close to the city centre and the bus city terminal. Melina and Yannis, the owners of the hotel, were helpful and kind for our whole stay. Our room was super cozy and clean, the bathroom really nice, we liked the shower very much. Breakfast was very good. I can't find a negative thing on this hotel. It's not luxury hotel but it is cozy. If I ever go back to Santorini, I will certainly choose again Melina hotel.

The hotel is in a very good location, not on those very loud streets where thousands of people, but 10 minutes walk from central Fira. The breakfast was very good also. The owner of the hotel Melina is wonderful. She is very helpful with everything. She was giving advice where to eat, why to see, how to get to places. Thanks Melina for all your advice.

The excellent hotel in greek style surrounded with amaising oleanders and bugenvilles flowers contrasting to the white walls and blue accents. Great location, just 5-10 min walk from the main street and caldera view. At the same time providing fresh breath and rest moments from touristical places. Very clean and refreshing swimming pool. Small and cosy hotel with feeling “like at home”. Very warm welcome! Melina was so helpful for any our request, gave good recommendations about places to visit, restaurants, musiems, surrounding areas, buses and taxi transfers. Higly reccomend this lovely place!

Owners are welcoming and accomodating, property is very well maintained and very clean. Full breakfast with eggs cooked to order included along with a variety of baked goods, cereals, yoghurt, fruits and spreads. The pool area is large and well-kept. The location is ideal as it is but a few steps from the sea-walk of Fira, with its iconic views and abundance of restaurants, bars, boutiques and shops of all kinds. The public bus terminal and taxi stand. is around the corner from the hotel. The hotel is also close to a large supermarket.

The Melina is a stunning family-run boutique hotel. It presents immaculately clean with very pretty yet unfussy details. Yiannis waited beyond the regular check-in time to greet and welcome us personally, letting us know what was on locally providing a map of the area for our reference and show us our beautiful room, recently freshly painted, beds utterly comfortable with a very stylish shower room ensuite newly fitted recently. Breakfast was very tasty with a plentiful selection of sweet and savoury options. Our room was refreshed daily, again discreetly with no fuss. A very attractive and private and spacious pool area completes the Melina Hotel landscaped campus. I wouldn't hesitate from recommending this hotel for the comments above and its ideal location in Fira, adjacent to the bustling town yet peaceful allowing the traveller to rest and rejuvenate when needed. Top class, I intend to return!

We only stayed for one night but the hotel was perfect, we wish we had stayed longer. Melina was a perfect host, she was lovely and really friendly, she organised our transfer from the port and to the airport perfectly. The breakfast was extensive with lots of choices even down to cheese and ham toasties. The room was spotless with a big terrace. We didn’t have time to use the swimming pool however it looked beautiful. Would stay again if in Santorini.

We were a 5min. walk to the bus terminal where you could catch a bus to go anywhere on the island, which was very convenient. The closest beach was about 20mins. By bus. The bus rates were pretty good 2.50euros to black beach. Our hotel itself was beautiful. We has a triple so there was a separate area with the 3rd bed that had it's own balcony. The room was very clean. There wasn't a coffee machine in the room,but there was a mini fridge. The pool area was also very clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable on the area.

Lots of stairs to get to our room,but it gave us a better view, so it was worth it.

The owner/host was very helpful, always available, informative and kind. The breakfast was delicious and filling to begin a day of sightseeing. The property is very close to the main bus terminal (as we went to and from Oía and Akrotiri/Red Beach. The pool was so nice to have after a hot day sightseeing. Because of the location, the pool was much bigger than the pools on the caldera.

Location was great because you are within walking distance from the main town of Fira. However being so close has its disadvantages. Busy road and right next to bus depot. But it didn’t bother us. Melina, the owner is outstanding. She is always ready to help for directions, restaurants etc… and the pool is a great place to relax after a full day of walking in the sun.
