This hotel is simply perfect, very close to the city centre and the bus city terminal. Melina and Yannis, the owners of the hotel, were helpful and kind for our whole stay. Our room was super cozy and clean, the bathroom really nice, we liked the shower very much. Breakfast was very good. I can't find a negative thing on this hotel. It's not luxury hotel but it is cozy. If I ever go back to Santorini, I will certainly choose again Melina hotel.

The hotel is in a very good location, not on those very loud streets where thousands of people, but 10 minutes walk from central Fira. The breakfast was very good also. The owner of the hotel Melina is wonderful. She is very helpful with everything. She was giving advice where to eat, why to see, how to get to places. Thanks Melina for all your advice.

Owners are welcoming and accomodating, property is very well maintained and very clean. Full breakfast with eggs cooked to order included along with a variety of baked goods, cereals, yoghurt, fruits and spreads. The pool area is large and well-kept. The location is ideal as it is but a few steps from the sea-walk of Fira, with its iconic views and abundance of restaurants, bars, boutiques and shops of all kinds. The public bus terminal and taxi stand. is around the corner from the hotel. The hotel is also close to a large supermarket.

The mattress was harder than I prefer, but beds are clean and comfortable, regardless

The Melina is a stunning family-run boutique hotel. It presents immaculately clean with very pretty yet unfussy details. Yiannis waited beyond the regular check-in time to greet and welcome us personally, letting us know what was on locally providing a map of the area for our reference and show us our beautiful room, recently freshly painted, beds utterly comfortable with a very stylish shower room ensuite newly fitted recently. Breakfast was very tasty with a plentiful selection of sweet and savoury options. Our room was refreshed daily, again discreetly with no fuss. A very attractive and private and spacious pool area completes the Melina Hotel landscaped campus. I wouldn't hesitate from recommending this hotel for the comments above and its ideal location in Fira, adjacent to the bustling town yet peaceful allowing the traveller to rest and rejuvenate when needed. Top class, I intend to return!

Nothing whatsoever, leave as it is, perfect!

We were a 5min. walk to the bus terminal where you could catch a bus to go anywhere on the island, which was very convenient. The closest beach was about 20mins. By bus. The bus rates were pretty good 2.50euros to black beach. Our hotel itself was beautiful. We has a triple so there was a separate area with the 3rd bed that had it's own balcony. The room was very clean. There wasn't a coffee machine in the room,but there was a mini fridge. The pool area was also very clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable on the area.

Lots of stairs to get to our room,but it gave us a better view, so it was worth it.

Hotel Melina is a wonderful, climatic, family hotel in the Cycladic style with beautiful flora. There is a warm and cordial atmosphere in it, which of course is given by the owners, especially by Ms. Melina, who is the good spirit of the place. For a 3* hotel, it has great infrastructure, including an intimate swimming pool, and the hotel lacks nothing. All help, advice and hospitality of the owners make this place even more friendly. From the hotel, it takes about 5-7 minutes to get to the main bus station, where buses leave in every direction, which makes it incredibly easy to explore Santorini. In about 10 minutes you will reach the main square of Fira, where everyone gathers for a wonderful sunset and from which you can go for a walk through the beautiful streets admiring the views. I heartily recommend this cozy hotel.

Breakfast was more than I could have asked for, omelet and eggs and toast! Yiannis gave us a lovely map and helped carry our bags to our room when we checked in. The pool was lovely and the location was within reasonable walking distance of the attractions we wanted to see. My friend asked for coffee later in the evening and was met with exceptional service.

A little difficult to organize airport transfer but everything worked out in the end.

Loved this place... but i must be honest. The internet was a nightmare. It was only available if we sat in the lobby of the hotel. You could see a connection in the room, but it really didn't deliver any internet. This wasn't an internet connection problem by the internet company, but more obviously the hotel management not getting the internet set up correctly so that the connection could be used in all rooms. There's a lot of technology out there to extend your net throughout your property. Please remember that travelers need to be connected to family and friends. They need the ability to do distance work from anywhere they go. You need to take that seriously and really do everything in your power to make sure the net is available and working for every single person that visits you.

Upon our arrival, Melina took the time to explain the layout of the area and suggested activities or tours which would enhance our stay. Very professional . Breakfast choice was plentiful. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Very well managed and clean. I would highly recommend Melina Hotel.

The marvelous hosts, especially Melina. Lovely welcoming reception and great tips. Breakfast was very good, with a delicious piece of potato pie. Also the Bougainville trees around the hotel and it was clean and had a wonderful atmosphere It's also close to the busstation (a 5-minute walk) and to the centre of Fira and the beautiful caldera
