Hosts were lovely and very attentive, even when the area had a power cut, the host came round to each individual apartment to pass on the information from the electricity company. They were happy to arrange taxis, if there was any issue with the apartment they would deal with it straight away no matter how minor it seems like there was absolutely nothing they wouldn't do to ensure you enjoyed your stay. Breakfast was was nice, but having breakfast with that view is exceptional. ,Location was great , easily accessible to the all amenities, short walk to town centre, supermarket at the end of the road. Apartment is situated close to many lovely restaurants, catering for all different cuisines. But to be honest the the view was just unbelievable waking up to that every morning was amazing.

Our stay at the Kamares apartment was an unforgettable one. This gem is located at the beginning of Thira, yet it is steps away from the busier area where you’ll find all the shops and restaurants. It is conveniently located near the bus stop and a supermarket. It’s quiet location was perfect to recover from exploring days under the hot sun. The staff was very kind and eager to assist with any requests we had. They had many activities and options to suggest. The suite was spacious and very comfortable, offering an authentic “cave house” experience. This being said, the true star of this listing is the breathtaking caldera view. Whether looking at it during the day or for the sunset, we couldn’t get enough of it. I strongly recommend this listing for anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Santorini.

The hotel staff were exceptional, providing the best service to us during our 3-day stay. They helped with organizing taxis, excursions, and navigating the island, going above and beyond to making sure our vacation was one to remember. We went in early April and the weather was chilly at night, when we asked about heating they promptly brought over extra radiators for our room. The room itself was also amazing—spacious, very clean, and quiet. The hot tub was well maintained and such a nice treat after a day of exploring. Breakfast was delivered to our room every morning on time and the options were extensive. Location was perfect—many great restaurants and shops within walking distance, the city center was also just down the hill. Overall an incredible stay and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. If we ever return to Santorini, we’ll be coming back to this spot.

Can’t think of anything!

We stayed for just one night and the room and view from balcony were astonishing - even better than the pictures! Eddie on reception when we arrived was very welcoming and helpful and happy to supply information about local places to eat and check museum opening times etc. Easy walk to nearby shops, restaurants etc. A treat to have breakfast delivered to the room in the morning too! Highly recommend the amazing Museum of Prehistoric Thira - five mins walk away which displays the beautiful frescoes found at Akrotiri.

The staff were unbelievable! Lady Maria, Mr Edward and Ben, thank you for everything. Nothing was ever a problem and they made our stay exceptional. The view is to die for and a quieter area of Fira made it so much more comfortable. Highly recommend.

The stairs, but it's expected in Santorini!

it is in a prime location near the centre and close to the bus station. The view was really breathtaking. The people are amazing and super accommodating making it a home away from home!! We had a sunset view from our hot tub. the sunsets are beautiful. Maria and Edi are great fun they are usually at the front desk and give some really good recommendations to restaurants and beaches to visit. they will also tell you how to get there and get around using the local buses. if you need any reservations made they are the people to go to. Ben is the person you will see every morning as he brings your breakfast. He is great fun and has some good restaurants recommendations too. Lina is the person most people don't see as she takes care of house keeping but she is very nice and friendly although she doesn't speak much English and is very shy she still tries. Elefteria is the co-owner and she is there she does her best to make you feel like family. we arrived as strangers and left as family!!!!

Stunning views and excellent service! Kamares Apartments is the perfect place to stay in Santorini. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the center of Fira, yet quiet enough to relax and enjoy the breathtaking caldera views. The staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to help with recommendations or bookings. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Watching the sunset from our private terrace was unforgettable. Highly recommended!

I like everything about the property

Great service, great location and beautiful apartments.

I was a little disappointed as the outdoor hot tub was not overlooking the sea. Most of the hot tubs are outside overlooking the sea. I guess it was my bad luck didn’t get the one which overlooks the sea.

We arrived as guests, 7 nights later we left as friends. Kamares apartments is an absolute must for your stay in Santorini. We arrived to a very happy and helpful Edward, when seeing the apartments and our room we were blown away. The private hot tub, veranda and apartment was stunning and spotlessly clean. The first few evenings we were blessed with clear sunsets so decided to watch them from the hot tub with a few drinks.. Edward helped us order local food for delivery to eat as well. Every morning you are greeted by Ben, he is positively infectious, Ben brought us our breakfast order every morning to our veranda at any time we wanted, kept our hot tub clean and ready for us at any time. We had so many good chats with him and there was never a day that went by he didn’t ask what we were up to. Maria is the morning receptionist, she is brilliant as well, ask Maria for all the top local places to eat away from the bustle. Edward has good recommendations but be prepared to pay for them 😂😂 (he likes the Boujie side of life!) The cleaners are incredible we popped out for a run one morning by the time we got back the apartment had been done and to such a high standard. Kamares is a magical breathtaking place that blew us away but without a doubt Maria, Edward, Ben and the team make it a home away from home. They care so much about their guests and it shows in every interaction with them. In terms of Santorini, use the local buses to get around at 2euro a trip you can explore the whole island including your airport transfers every hour. The Fira bus station is just a couple of minutes from the accommodation. Listen to all the guys recommendations of things to do and you will have the best time. We would rate this a million stars if we could and would one million percent stay again!

The only improvement we could possibly think of is to have nespresso machines in the room (we told Edward this and he helped us order coffee deliveries!!) that’s just because we are coffee lovers and no fault of Kamares!

We were greeted by the lovely Maria & from then the stay at the beautiful Kamares apartment was exceptional! Their services was incredible and really put us first and gave us a lot of information to help us navigate the beautiful island. We couldn't fault our stay, we absolutely loved everything about it , the view was sensational & the room was spacious! It was also close to the centre so everything was accessible. We will definitely be back & hope we can get the same room haha
