The apartment was clean and very large, with fantastic lighting and airflow. Easy to access in a quiet road off the busy main road which was a big plus as the traffic is constant in Santorini. The location is good but a 12-15 min walk to the main Fira square, which consists of beautiful alleyways of old town pebbled rds with lots of beautiful shops, restaurants & vistas, so it ends up being a lot of walking. A great plus was the oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, tea, coffee & sugar that is supplied in the kitchen. It was great as some of these it's are difficult to travel with! Great size fridge and an ice tray was provided.

The kitchen utensils need to be added to. A few more things added could allow for more comfortable cooking.

The host came with the driver to pick us up at the airport. Drove us to the faclity, opened up our doors and gave us a nice bottle of wine. Water in the room along with juice. Very clean. Different having the bedroom up the stairs on the second floor but the bed was so comfortable. Room was well appointed. Host gave us some restaurant recommendations that ended up being fantastic along the beach. We would absolutely stay here again if we needed a room close to the airport.

Beach and restaurant was great but the general area needs some sprucing up. Great for staying a night or two but wouldn't probably stay for an extended period for lack of places to go.

The apartment was big, bright and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The staff were friendly and informative. They provided us extra linens and also made the sofa bed on our request. They even provide daily cleaning service, which many apartments don't usually do. The location is close to the Fira bus station in terms of distance and walking time.

Since the building is located on the opposite side of the main highway, we had to cross the road several times a day and due to lack of pedestrian walkway and traffic signals, it felt hazardous crossing the road especially at night. If you have a car, then this may not be a problem for you.

We were in the top floor 2 bedroom apartment. The balcony had a glimpse of the ocean. The windows and doors all functioned well. The place was spacious, comfortable, and had all the ammenities that we needed. Housekeeping came in every day. The beds were very comfortable, water was hot, kitchen was well equiped. Grocery store was a couple of blocks away. Coffee, tea and sugar were supplied. I could live there for a year and be happy.

The bedrooms had a faint odor of cigarrettes. Some of the light bulbs were burned out. To get to the main part of town, you have to cross the main road.

Perfectly fine for a short stay of several nights. Grocery store was about three blocks away and of course there are lots of restaurants nearby. George the manager was great.

They were doing construction next door so it could be pretty loud at times. Don't expect to sit out on the porch and relax. The reception area isn't always staffed so you may have to wait or call to get someone to meet you.

Very clean property was off the 'strip' so nice and quiet, but a very short walk to the centre. It had very accessible, free parking. We loved the sunny decks and it was wonderful that we were upgraded to a two bedroom as I was traveling with my adult daughter and it was great to have the extra space on our month long trip. There was a welcome bottle of wine and nice cake! Anna-Maria was extremely available and helpful with restaurant suggestions and arranging our taxi for our 5am departure. It was great to have a nice heating system as the weather was cool and wet for most of our stay. Excellent window coverings and shower. Overall a super spot to stay!

Lovely apartment with spacious living area and open kitchen. Bedrooms are good size with lovely black out shutters to keep sun out in the morning. Modern bathroom and beds were comfy. 2 min walk to fond cafes and eateries. 3 minute walk to Fira bus station. Excellent location and value for money. Fira itself is under 7 minute walk. We loved out stay here in santorini and have best memories.

Meet George the on arrival and everything was excellent from there. He listened to what my plans was for my stay and gave me information and leaflets on how to get all my trips done. The room and bed was lovely and had two balconys. Supermarket and bakery up the road, Fira is a 8 min walk. No noise at night as away from center. Airport bus 2 euro straight to Fira and is 5 mins walk away. Yes I will be back.

We were looking for lodgings for four adults (2 parents and 2 teens) that’s walking distance from Old Town Fira, specifically one that had beds for all 4 family members and a kitchen. We did not want to stay in a caldera-view property because of the prices but still wanted to be as close as possible. Altea Apartments checked all our requirements as far as location (a short walk from Fira center) and size, plus it was so large, clean and beautiful! One of the best things was the large closet space so we were able to properly unpack instead of live in our suitcase. Housekeeping came every day to clean and provide us with fresh towels. Another plus—it was not within the tourist center, which meant the restaurants and cafes close by were filled with locals (with local prices, not tourist prices).

What we didn’t like actually had nothing to do with the property. but has to do with the town of Fira. There was no sidewalk so walking to and from the hotel felt a little treacherous because of the traffic. We were perfectly safe because drivers in Fira are very skilled—it just FELT treacherous because we are used to sidewalks. 😎

Convenient close by restaurants and supermarkets and 2 blocks from Fira walkable area. Spacious, big kitchen and daily cleaning.

The neighborhood is going through some transformation with a couple construction. But they don’t bother us at all.
