Absolutely great location. 15 mins from Fira and a good jumping off point for driving to Pygros, Oia, Kamari and Red Beach. Room is made up daily and fridge is restocked with fresh water. Receptionist was really accommodating to our needs and helped with car hire. As a bonus the property is over the road from a blue domed church making for a lovely view of the properties pool and the sea on one side and the church and properties palm trees/flowers on the other. Wonderful quiet and chilled vibe.

WiFi was unreliable often had to use data to connect in the evening. Property’s swimming pool was a little smaller than it looks in pictures but was not a deal breaker the pool area was lovely and the pool bar 5 mins away had a big pool that was cheap to use when we needed more space. The hill up to town is pretty brutal.

The rooms were so beautiful, clean and quiet. Travelling with a friend it was good to have a room each. The pool was clean and private. The amenities were great, coffee pod maker, small oven, toaster, kettle and most kitchen appliance’s. The host Fay was such a lovely helpful lady. She helped me with a foot injury, and even drove us up the hill into the town centre. I would stay there again.

It’s not that this was a major issue if you’re fit, but with a broken toe, I couldn’t make the hill into town. If you’re fit, it’s 5 minutes. If you’re not, taxi transfers are arranged by the property very fast.

We're a couple that stayed for 5 nights, and hired a car. We found the hotel and its amenities highly functional, and the kitchen was equipped enough to make soup, pasta and a few light dishes. AirCon is amazing, and the bathroom was a great size. Beds were also comfortable. We ate out mainly so it was central to Fira, and to other coastal areas. Parking was easy to find, and not an issue for us. The pool was great to sit around after a big day out and to snooze around in the afternoon. Faye is such a great host, who works so hard to make the place as great as it is.

10/10 for us - no complaints.

The property is in a great location and the service was outstanding! From the moment we arrived with an after hours check in time, Fay assisted us with everything from transfers, to providing us snacks whilst we were outside to allowing us to stay after check out while we waited for our transfer. The room was clean and was made up everytime we left the room even if it was for a short amount of time and had everything you need. The walk up to the town is up a hill but it is doable and only a short walk. I hightly recommend this place!

Facility is modern and beautiful. Everything is made to simplify your stay and make it comfortable. Daily cleaning even though we weren't staying long. Coffee and water bottles at disposal. What I love most is that you are 10 minutes away from the town centre of fira, walking. And, the place is super quiet so you can enjoy your busy day and come back to a calm and peaceful place for the night. People working there are very friendly. And overall it's a great value for the service you get. Would absolutely come back.

Having the double bed in the bedroom would have been better, but apart from that, it was perfect.

We were exceptionally well looked after, from a late check in to helping arrange transport for us over the course of our stay. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard each day with bedding and towels regularly changed. The pool area is well kept and a relaxing space to be in.

The location may be challenging for those who don’t want to/aren’t able to tackle the 10-15 minute walk into Fira itself due to the steep hill. Equally if you’re visiting Santorini you have to accept hills are part of the package!

The 'owner' Fay really welcome and very thoughtful, transport was always arranged on time, never have to wait. The lady who 'tidy up' the room, always make sure that is done, when i had relaxing time at the pool area. Pool area in the morning was always quiet, which its a big bonus. Fira town is so close, by walk it takes 10-15min. Beach is 15-20min by car . Breakfast time its so flexible, from selected menu you can order each time something different. If i visit Santorini again, then for sure i will stay at the same place. I had a really great time and experience x

Very clean and comfortable, lovely little pool and quiet. Room has a nicely equipped kitchen, and they kindly provides coffee capsules and water bottles every day. Owner was available on WhatsApp throughout and helpful. The whole place was absolutely spotless, and the neighbourhood had an authentic, simple charm.

No pavement at all and having to walk on the road (more of a general Greek problem). Do not make the mistake of ordering the boxed breakfast- it was very poor. A few minutes (~10) walk from there you can get better value, fresh breakfast at one of the local cafes.

Phoenix is probably one of the best accommodations at an affordable price in Santorini. Fay was very welcoming and thoughtful. She was extremely helpful and guided us with taxi bookings and airport transfers. Transport was always arranged on time, never have to wait. Rooms were kept very clean with fresh towels each day. Pool towels were also provided & changed during the week. The room was perfect and loaded with useful facilities (cutlery, microwave, coffee maker, espresso machine, fridge). They even had complementary crackers and juice. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood and is very close to the Fira town, by walk it takes 10-15min. If i visit Santorini again, then for sure i will stay at the same place. I had a really great time and experience.

Location is a bit tricky - you have to climb a steep hill to get to Fira town and most of the walk is on the road. There are no pavements. We had read the reviews and knew there was a hike into town, but just did not realize how steep the climb. Walk up and down was sometimes daunting and challenging on sunny day. We walked and sometimes several times a day, and it was easy walking down the hill but going up was strenuous.

It was incredibly clean and well looked after. Fay and her team were very welcoming and catered to questions or requests we had. Rooms had great facilities , tea, coffee and bottles of water refreshed daily and cleaned to a high standard. Pool was quiet, a great place to get lost in a book. In a perfect peaceful place of the island. It is a short walk to the main part of town but this is up the incline of a hill. Would recommend to couples and friends wanting a quiet calm base to come back to after exploring the island.
