The reception staff was really helpful. Plenty of parking spaces. The main entry and the hotel lobby looked very nice and tidy. The view was amazing !

Location was quite hard to find. The GPS kept taking us in the back roads. Peel your eyes for the signs and follow them. Once you see them in the main road it will be easy to follow. The room has a designated space for a kettle , a mug, a glass, a teaspoon, but nothing like this was provided. I wasn’t impressed with the room cleaning . Our bathroom sink looked like someone just shaved, tiny bird stuck around the drain and the floor in front of the bathroom had tiny spots, to me it obviously said it has not been cleaned before our stay. The bed sheets were too small. I woke up at least twice during the night to rearrange them, but they just wouldn’t stay. I might be too picky but this is was my experience!

The most kind and helpful staff! Their smiles and kindness create a warm and cosy atmosphere. Anything we asked they delivered promptly. Very effecient management and great teamwork. Congratulations and thanks to everyone working at Grand Meteora.

The breakfast buffet was not great. Orange juice was not fresh - instead it was a 'mixed with water' sugary drink. Not corresponding to the quality the hotel wants to deliver. I would also appreciate a fruit salad (fruit was only served as whole and knifes were not good enough to slice them). Also, it seemed that super market cakes and biscuits were served - I would prefer the hotel made them.

The location and the view from our room was exceptional. We had the view of the mountains. The staff were welcoming, and accommodating. The facilities were awesome. The rating system would only allow me to leave a 10 but I would have given a 100 if I was allowed. Yiannis was wonderful and Achilles the massage therapist was amazing. The room we had was 4 stars. The room was comfortable with a refrigerator and the choice of tea or coffee in the morning. The bathroom had a combo shower bath.

We wish we could have had more time there.

Superb location, great facilities and friendly staff. Was there off season so was quiet but i can imagine the hotel and general area is crazy busy in peak season. Plenty of car parking space. Breakfast was excellent! Beautifully decorated interior and a comfy bed!

Being charged extra to use the pool/wellness area. Happy to pay for extra services or treatments obviously but to pay extra for just the pool is a bit much. Shower in room is over bath rather than shower unit.

The location was EVERYTHING. INCREDIBLE VIEWS! They could've had me sleeping on the floor and it would have been worth the view. The staff was very friendly and we were some of the only visitors there. WONDERFUL!

I am picky when it comes to beds. For reference, I am American and I like a soft comfortable bed like a memory foam bed. These were HARD and squeaky. However, again, the view made any discomfort worth it and I know that I am pickier than most!

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the hotel. The best thing about it are the great views of Meteora from the balcony. Picture Perfect! The hotel is quite large and spacious, plenty of parking in front of the hotel. The rooms are clean and fine although and basically comfortable. Also - don't forget to bring your bathing suit if you want to enjoy the spa with its swimming pool, sauna, salt room and hamam. A lovely way to wind down your day after hiking Meteora's cliffs!

Warning - Google maps might show you a way on the back roads. Avoid it! There is a paved road all the way to the hotel.

Location was great! Staff friendly and helpful.

The shower is very difficult to keep water in as there is only a half wall glass and a hand held shower that is installed at mid side tub. No caulk between glass and tile. Can see by door that others have had this problem as well.

Great location for Meteora - with excellent views from the room.

My room has a balcony with views of Meteora but this wasn't accessible due the door having been replaced with a safety window that opens only a few inches at the top. Also, the restaurant was very quiet and there were a lot of seemingly inexperienced staff watching me eat, which was a little uncomfortable.

Located just outside Kastraki village, it boasts magnificent views to the rocks & monasteries from the balcony; clean, large enough room; decent buffet breakfast; free Wi-Fi & private parking; kind, helpful staff;

extra charge for the indoor swimming pool but, at least, it’s open until late;
