The location is unbeatable right between Kalambaka and Kastraki, with breathtaking views of the Meteora rocks. The room was super clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. One thing that made my trip extra special was renting an electric scooter from Hobbyshop Meteora in town. It made it so easy to get around from the hotel to Kastraki and up to the monasteries without getting too tired. Walking up to Meteora can be a long and steep journey, so the scooter was a game-changer. Thankfully, the hotel always had free parking available, which was super convenient for both the scooter and cars. The breakfast was simple but fresh, and a great way to start each morning. Overall, Spanias Hotel was the perfect home base for exploring the area. Great value for money and highly recommended!

The hotel is located with view on the mountain in very quiet area so you can sleep without any noises! Everything you need you have just some steps near- cafe, tavern, little shops. From this hotel you easily get to the Meteora road and discover Meteora viewpoints from the car The hotel has nice common terrace for chilling and room balcony with beautiful view. The breakfast is good, just everything you need for the breakfast: granola, eggs, cheese, ham, cakes, coffee, tea, jams. I highly recommend this quiet little hotel for the perfect stay without unneeded noises!

Amazing location, very close to Meteora and if you’re lucky a view of Meteora from your balcony. You can get a drink from the bar in the evening and sit outside. Very nice people working there, very friendly and helpful. One night they told me about a local annual tradition taking place the next morning. I wouldn’t have known about it without them. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

The location was much better than I expected. There are several restaurants/bars almost on the doorstep in the village on side of the hotel. An extensive range available a further distance away in the other direction. Breakfast room was very comfortable and served a decent selection but no hot food.

The bathroom could do with a shower affixed to the wall not just a hand held one plus not having sides to the shower area caused the floor to become very wet. Also felt under pressure to be back at the hotel by midnight due to doors being locked.

Helpful staff and friendly service. Got useful advice on the attractions and priorities. Quiet neighbourhood, safe parking and comfortable rooms.

Reqested a higher floor for three rooms and paid for two rooms with mountain view. Checked in early but still stayed on the ground floor, only one room with mountain view and one room having a fridge.

We stayed in this hotel 9 years ago, when we have visited Meteora for the first time and this year we came back. We found the same good hotel with quiet location and good restaurants next to it. Fantastic view from the room balcony. Large parking area. Good breakfast available. We highly recommend this quiet little hotel for the perfect stay without unneeded noises!

We loved our stay here! I checked out many places to stay in Kastraki and Kalabaka and I can really say this is the best by far. We got a room with direct sight to the mountain and own terrace and it was absolutely superb. We stayed on the terrace and watched the sunset. The garden up front is also nice and we had a generous parking place for our car. Very good WIFI. Spacious room, clean. We got everything that we needed. The breakfast was excellent, with many options, of good quality. We really enjoyed our time there and we thank the hosts for this experience which made such a positive impression on our first trip to Meteora.

There's a weird bad smell on the hallway.

A good, albeit slightly older hotel on the edge of the Meteora site. It has all the necessary basic facilities. The rooms are clean, and breakfast is decent. The air from the nearby plateau keeps the hotel cool even during the summer.

The bed had plastic covers that were noisy. The shower needs a better arrangement rather than curtains as the bathroom floor gets flooded. This could lead to damage long term.

A family-run hotel set in a beautiful, scenic location. It offers a large free parking area and is within walking distance of a bakery, several restaurants, and a gas station. The interiors feature a rustic design. Modest breakfast is included in the room rate.
