This hotel was so much more than I expected. It reminded me of a luxurious old-time hotel, from the lovely lobby and breakfast room to the furnishings and decor of our room. We loved sitting on our balcony in the evening with a glass of wine, looking at the strange rock formations and chatting with our neighbors. We were near enough to walk to 1 monastery as well as to several restaurants and the grocery store. The breakfast was awesome with eggs as well as any Greek pastery you could possibly want. The desk clerks were friendly and helpful explaining various sightseeing options.

I think this place did a wonderful job. I wouldn't change a thing.

Maybe the hotel the closest to the monasteries and right on the main road to them; thus no need to drive through the town. Two tavernas across the street and a few more up and down the road. Also a souvenir shop across the street. Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable about all the monasteries (number of steps, history etc.! - fantastic). Had a room with a balcony to the back - great to sit and relax but little view.

The hotel is a bit dated. The WiFi was slow - good for email but not for streaming.

Perfect location with view of monastery perched on Meteora. Prefer staying here to Kalambaka as the road up to the monasteries starts at Kastraki. Hotel was well located and only a few minutes away from local tavernas. Parking was available on site at no cost (convenient). Great information from reception on when to do what and generally very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very traditional but that's ok as it fits with the location, we liked it.

Breakfast was very simple, more options would be nice.

We liked the hotel, the view and the location. It was quiet and comfortable.

I was dissapointed in the fact that at the time of the arrival we wanted to pay cash, the receptionist told us she does not have change and we can pay tomorrow morning. When we went to the breakfast, which was not very impressing, only half of the meals were nice, the other receptionist asked for our room number but did not aware us that she wants to charge the card. So, she charged our card without asking us what is the preferably method of paying, however we said a day before that we wanted cash.

Its proximity to the monasteries and Kalabaka. Really close to the taverns in Kastraki, ATM, and mini marts. The lady at reception was exceptionally helpful, she organised a private tour for us at a really good price when our original plans fell through, as well as our taxi back to the bus stop. She was also happy to hold our luggage before check in (we got there a lot earlier than check in time) and after we checked out. The buffet breakfast was generous and included gluten free options.

Nothing, was perfect!

The hotel is quite beautiful and it's in a more classic style that I really appreciate, it's also very well kept. Room was quite spacious and we had a nice view of the mountains as well as some monasteries. Staff was quite helpful and gave us useful tips about our visit. Location is great if you have the monasteries in mind, if you're driving, you're right at the beginning of the road to them. Would return!

Close to monasteries and reception staff provided map and advice on what to see first - by the way go to the taverna across the road as it had great chicken souvlaki

The bathroom is rather small and the breakfast needed one or two additional hot food options - by the way don’t go to their family taverna down the road as the one straight across the road has music and nicer good and fantastic service

The location was fantastic for visiting Meteora Monestries. The public area by reception was very traditional for this area of Greece and very clean. Breakfast had an abundance of choice. We also had a kettle in our room and cups. So we could enjoy a coffee and a tea after daily trips out and about. Certainly adds to our stay.

Nothing not to like.

The staff were extremly friendly and helpful. The receptionist explained us the locations of the different monasteries and gave us tips for hikes and excursions. The hotel is very conveniently located, i.e. close to the nearest monasteries, and from our room we had a wonderful view on the rocky landscape and some of the convents. And although the hotel is located right on the road to the Meteora, it was quiet at night. The breakfast buffet was very varied and plentiful.

Friendly staff, Location excellent, located towards the end of the village at the foot of Metheora. Breakfast with all varieties, never missed anything and we stayed 4 days. The room was very ok, and breathtaking view towards Meteora as the sun rises in between the cliffs of Meteora.

No complains about the property! We only missed a coffe place o hang out with our friends somewhere in morning hours, not only afternoon, in the village. Maybe better in summertime.
