Loved the location and views from the location and our room. Dimitria was also so lovely to engage with and she was very helpful for all our questions and needs.

We found that there was a bad smell in the 1st floor (kitchen, dining area, and bunk bed area) of our room. The smell can be described as a stale bathroom. The property managers said the smell comes from the foundation of the building and / or from repellent sprayed to deter bugs from entering the house. With that said, we slept upstairs and it wasn't a bother, but if we had to sleep in the bunk beds, we would not have been able to given the smell.

We loved staying at Maria Villas, in such a transquil rural spot in the mountains but only a short drive to the north coast and about 30 mins from the beaches of Falassarna. The views were stunning especially from our terrace and the pool area. Breakfast was excellent, with plentiful fruit and pastries and varied cooked option each day. Our host Dimitra was so welcoming and helpful. We slept very well in the comfortable king size bed and our bedroom was a good size and with a large roof terrace. I wish we could have stayed longer to explore the surrounding countryside

We only have very minor criticism of our apartment's kitchen/living area as it was a little compact. Our large roof terrace made up for this and also we were outside most of the time and eating out in restaurants in local villages. Our spacious bathroom with shower over the bath would benefit from shelves near the wash hand basin.

Dimitrus our hostess was so lovely, caring and knowledgeable answering any questions we had! Delicious breakfast included with the room, we really enjoyed it! The pool area and gardens are very nice as well as the bar. We visited the area to go to Balos Lagoon via ferry which was wonderful and this villa is very close to where we were catching the ferry. Also since it is up on a hill overlooking the bay, the views are breathtaking!! This is a very relaxing retreat from the busy world, just loved it and highly recommend!

The place was amazing, the room was very clean and well equipped ! Dimitria is very nice thanks to her we had an even wonderful stay ! Always available for good advices, places to visit and nice tavernas ! The swimming pool is amazing so is the view ! The breakfast is everything you wish for to start a good day ! I recommend ! We also met the owners who were also very nice and we had the opportunity to met other people who stayed there and had some nice chats around a glass of honey raki !

A comfortable place for a few days' vacation, a good base for trips to this part of the island. Large swimming pool, silence,super clean, spacious terrace, very nice lady managing the facility!!

a lot of furniture and little things in the apartment, tables, heavy sofas, old clocks, a baby cot (our daughter is 12 years old), lack of space.

We had an amazing stay at Maria Villas! The villas was set in a picturesque, peaceful location up in the hills. It felt secluded and like a luxurious treat on a budget! The swimming pool was wonderful and pool side bar lovely for breakfast and lunch. Dimitra was an amazing host, she went out of her way to help us with recommendations and was always there with a kind smile! We were so impressed by how much love and care she puts into running the villas, it added a really special touch! Dimitra served us a wonderful traditional breakfast, it is highly recommended!! Our room itself was wonderful, it was traditional and comfortable and full of character. I would also note that this location will require a car unless you are happy to do lots of steep walking around the hills to get into the town (I imagine it would take quite a long while and not doable at night). We hired a car and found this to be excellent, the drive was only 12 minutes into town navigating the rural roads/hills where you can find tavernas and restaurants and Chania was 45 minutes by car. Molos lounge was an excellent spot on the beach for the day! We found Chania wonderful and visited there 3 times during our stay as we loved it so much! We also went to Balos island which was wonderful (ferry recommended over risking damaging hire car on bumpy costal road)

At a real stretch if we had to find improvements, the shower screen could be replaced as it was cracking in places, and we would have loved an extra bin in the lounge. But it really was amazing and we will definitely stay again if we return to Kissamos!

It's on the mountain side with fabulous views. Demetre is a very nice person and helpful and caring. Thank you , you made our stay special. The apartment is very well kept and swimming area really nice. Bed comfortable . Village nearby has delicious food.

There could be some variety of food to buy from the pool bar. Also Google maps indicate a different entrance to property, but on the street there is a visible sign showing the entrance to parking.

It felt spacious, very Greek, the views were fabulous. Gorgeous pool. Very helpful and friendly hostess. Lovely villa, comfy beds. Our favourite accommodation. Wish we had booked it for longer.

The reason I gave it a nine was because there was no bedside lights upstairs and the lighting in the kitchen area was poor.

The location is superb. Swimming pool with view on the mountains, 15' drive to kissamos. The ladies that take care of the place are super friendly, you can ask them anything.

The kitchen was very basic. A coffee maker and a toaster would have been great.

Eleni and Dimitra is the real soul of this place. I am sure we are coming back some time in future. Definetely gonna suggest this place to my friends! Efxaristo for everything and greetings from Lukas 😉
