The small size of the hotel made it very relaxing with a limited number of people. And because the rooms are mostly ground floor and semi-detached, it felt as though you had your own little villa. The peaceful, sandy stretch of beach has a lovely view, and you could walk quite a way into the water before it became too deep. There were very good vegetarian and vegan food options throughout the day, all of which were very fresh, healthy and unprocessed. The price of food and drink are akin to London prices, to be honest.

We booked transport, to visit Kos Town and Zia, as the property isn’t near anywhere particularly nice.

We had a wonderful stay at OKU Kos! Our suite with a private pool was amazing. The room had a kettle and coffee machine, and the welcome treats were a lovely touch. Room service and housekeeping were excellent, and all the staff were super friendly, attentive, and smiling, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We also loved the hotel’s extra services like boat tours, spa, yoga, and massage. Lunch, dinner, and breakfast were all delicious. The transfer to the hotel was very comfortable, and we even got to enjoy the facilities after check-out. Highly recommend for a relaxing and luxurious stay!

Everything was perfect, although if we had to mention one small thing, the shower had no door.

We loved the hotel’s design, its compact layout, our room, and the beach. We also really appreciated the app system and the communication via WhatsApp, which made our entire day so much easier and the team was incredibly helpful.

The food could be improved. Prices are very high compared to the rest of the island, and unfortunately the taste does not quite match the price. The lunch menu, in particular, is quite limited. While the hotel is beautiful, being in a natural setting means there are a lot of flies and insects. During dinner, we were constantly bothered by flies. In addition, the door to our room had gaps at the bottom and sides, which allowed many insects and even small lizards to enter. We had to remove them ourselves and keep a towel under the door at night. Pest control could have been better.

Beautiful villa, delicious food at breakfast and dinner, good selection of non alcoholic drinks. And good selection of pescatarian food. Lovely friendly staff. We had half board which was great! The beach was my favourite! One of the best I have been too. So beautiful and private. I didn’t want to leave. Next time I would love to use the free paddle board and pay to do the horse riding.

We had ants in our room where the kettle was. They just kept coming back. They also moved to seating area when we were sat there. Lots of spiders and big ants near the private pool… not sure what can be done about this. We paid to use hamam but it didn’t seem like the set up was correct… we had to ask for scrub/mitts etc. I highly recommend taking mosquito repellant! We had a few bad bites.

Gorgeous room, with excellent bathroom and shower, lovely products. A pod coffee machine which was replenished every day as was bottled water. Gorgeous pool but not sufficient sun loungers for number of people, but the beach was only a short walk away and had plenty of really comfy loungers. Staff by the beach were lovely. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner. The breakfast buffet was amazing, as were the lunch and dinner menus we never got bored. The cocktails and local wines were gorgeous too. All staff were excellent.

Pool maybe a bit small for the size of the resort.

Incredible service - staff went above and beyond to make it a special stay for us. The whole place has a lovely relaxing atmosphere, beautiful beach - you can order from your sunbed, towels provided, beach bags in your room. It feels like every detail has been thought about to make your stay as perfect as possible. Lovely food. Loved it. The staff upgraded us from a swim up shared, to a private pool suite and it was absolutely gorgeous. The whole stay was such a treat from the moment we arrived.

Wouldn’t change a thing.

From the moment we arrived we relaxed & began to unwind. Oku is a very special place. The gardens were stunning & beautifully maintained & the rooms were clean, comfortable & stylish. The breakfast buffet selection was exceptional, lunch was fantastic & the evening meals at Kima were outstanding. All the staff were welcoming, friendly & professional. We loved the beach (& the beach bar!), which had a stunning views across to smaller islands; it was difficult to leave the sun beds as they were so comfortable! All the cocktails we sampled at the main bar were delicious, it was the perfect post-beach & post-dinner lounging point! Occasionally there was a DJ, who played some afternoons & evenings, he was brilliant & his music perfectly matched the laidback vibe. We're already planning our next visit.

A de-misting mirror in the rooms.

We came to OKU KOS because we looooooved OKU IBIZA and we were expecting the same vibe. It was actually a bit different and somehow a bit disappointing, but all in one it was a great stay. What's good ? The style, the amenities, the direct access to the beach, the pool area, the rooms, and this "village" spirit.

It was not that bad... but the staff is not as friendly and entertaining compared to OKU Ibiza. They are available and efficient, especially at the front desk and room services, but at the restaurant, some are doing the strict minimum. The gym is a bit small and we were surprised to see we had to pay an extra 25€ to access the spa for one hour/day. I guess it's a way to limit the number of people going there, but it seems a bit "cheap" from us. Especially when you consider the level of price. Same for the quality of the breakfast. A large choice but it was not so wow after all, and a bit repetitive after one week spent there.

Breakfast was perfect, however it could be better in terms of the staff asking if we want eggs when they ask for coffee. We found it difficult to order. Breakfast was supposed to be until 11 but they would start cleaning everything out at 10:40 so it was a bit stressful if we slept in.

The housekeeping could be better as they only changed our bedsheets once during our 7 night stay and we never had enough towels as you shower multiple times per day because of the salty water. Also the floors seemed never to be swept thoroughly and there was always sand. The air conditioning was right across our bed so we had to be very careful with it as it was blowing right on us during the night but without it it got too hot

- The beach is one of THE best in Europe I have been too, excellent staff, great lunch menu, lovely sunbeds and beautiful sea and scenery. - The rooms are excellent, spacious and modern with lovely bathrooms and most have exceptionally good outside space … especially the roof top rooms. - The spa is great, we had a message each (me and my partner) and the team there were brilliant, great service and a very nice massage.

- At all costs avoid the half board package, the food at dinner is excellent but the half board package is a pre set menu containing 2x options which can be insultingly low quality vs the á la carte menu - Oku need to remove this option or replace it with like for like parity with the main menu at dinner. - Reception staff are poor, often lacking basic training in customer service and came off unhelpful and at times confrontational … the checkout process was awful owing to a particularly aggressive female receptionist. - Breakfast is very average, often lukewarm food left out for hours that can attract flies … Coffee can take a very long time and the breakfast staff are not attentive.
