We had an amazing stay at Ducato di Oia and loved every bit of it from the moment we arrived! It's well positioned in the heart of Oia with everything you'd possibly need in proximity. Everyone from the staff is amazing and they do their best to offer you a great vacation and have everything you need in place and help with any request. We stayed in the Paros suite which was spacious enough, clean and with stunning views from the pool to the caldeira! Breakfast was brought to the room every morning which was perfect for this kind of vacation and the selection of food and drinks was more than enough and really tasty. Help offered with the luggage was much appreciated as well due to the steep stairs you encounter everywhere in Oia.

The lack of a restaurant on-site - it would have been much more pleasant to take lunch or dinner on-site if you only have a few days of vacation for relaxation and sunbathing.

The hotel location was perfect. Very queit and peacefull. Our room Kimolos has a wonderfull view. The staff was very kind and helpfull. They will do anything to make sure you enjoy your stay. The place is very clean.The jaccuzzi is being cleaned every day and they will check the water ph. Special thanks to the manager Erica, Receptionist Hellen Nakazibwe, the other Hellen, Jamal the bell boy who will help you with anything. They really make us feel like home, surrounded by family. The breakfast was also very nice. Great variety and very tasty. They will serve you breakfast at your room at the time of your request. They will be in constant communication with you via whatsapp. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Just one thing, everywhere in Santorini is stairs, no elevator. Alot of walking up and down the stairways. No elevator.

If you want to be in Oia then this is a good location. Cave hotel without tons of people walking by, but there will still be some tourists walking in front of your room. The views are pretty but it’s not the sunset view in Oia.

We checked in late and they neglected to tell us that we have to press a button (not next to the bathroom or in the bathroom) to have hot water, so we showered with cold water one night. The hot tub didn’t have bubbles (broken). They also got something wrong in my breakfast every day. I feel like they were just off with the service and standard during my visit. Also, there are TONS of stairs as these apartments are quite low down the hillside so anyone with mobility issues would have major problems getting to their room.

The location was great, staff were super nice and made us feel welcomed! Rooms are fun and have a nice feel to them, we really enjoyed the views from the room, the bed nook and its window and the pool and waterfall. It was a good vibe

The taxi service that the hotel uses dropped the ball on pickup from airport. But the hotel made it up by having two little Moet champagnes bottles ready for us when we got there and they were very nice and apologetic about it and when we were checking out they provided us with complementary luxury transport to the airport. Super nice gesture. Other than there were few little extra cleanup points that needed attention that I noticed but I’m hyper observant about these things and it wasn’t a problem for me :)

THE VIEWS were amazing!! In front is the caldera views that Santorini is famous for…on the sides are the white washed buildings! Make sure you get a room with a view you will not regret!!! Mina’s who is the owner and also grew up in this home was SUPER helpful! Told us of all the places to visit and eat and even recommended the BEST restaurant for a unique plate smashing experience!! WITH A VIEW! He always booked all our transfers and restaurants and we got special treatment. Make sure you book everything with him! Even the car! The cleaner was outstanding! I’ve never experienced a cleaner who knew exactly where to place everything so that the room is spacious. When we first got there we thought it was squishy becos our luggage took up so much space but the cleaner moved everything around and it was so spacious and clean! We would definitely go back again! Especially since it’s super close to the main town of Fira!

All the steps…but that’s just the whole of Santorini

Located in Oia, with a great view of the sea, we felt we could spend the whole day in our hotel room. The hot tub was maintained at a warm temperature and we had a huge space inside in our honeymoon suite. Among the staff, Anna was mostly available at reception through WhatsApp and was super quick to respond. Any requests for the room or breakfast were easily taken care of. Also it was great that the porters are available to carry your luggage on arrival and checkout as the stairs can be a bit tricky at first. But we got used to it later. For the price, we got an amazing experience as we were anyway hoping to come here probably once in a lifetime 🤞

Probably one area of improvement could be the breakfast. It would be great if some condiments could be included as well. As we get our breakfast in our rooms, we forgot to mention that beforehand. Also a few times we didn’t get exactly what we ordered. But overall the food was good.

This was a special end to my holiday and a real treat. I had the room with the internal plunge pool, which was temperature controlled, and had opening windows out to the lovely sea views, which was a total bonus. It gave the privacy that a lot of the other outdoor plunge pools around didn't have. This room also had a bit more privacy around the corner of the outdoor patio, something you generally don't get in this area. The room was really lovely, bed very comfortable and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Fantastic views and fantastic to have your breakfast (which was great) brought down to your room/balcony each morning. Great communication at all times, thanks so much.

The view was absolutely amazing. We booked a plunge pool suite for our honeymoon and it was more then we could have asked for. We were so excited to stay in town in a cave house. The manager, Nadia, was absolutely phenomenal, making sure we had everything we needed, arranged our taxis/activities/reservations for us. The breakfast they served each morning was so filling!

Pool could have used a little more chlorine halfway through our stay it got a little murky but they did comment we stayed a lot longer then most people do.

All the staff in Ducato are so nice and helpful, especially the two beautiful ladies! They explained very clearly of the facilities, the room setting, the arrangement and the nice points for photo shooting as well as the restaurant we should go. There are lots of choices for the breakfast and really delicious. We can take our nice meal at the balcony with perfect scenery in Oia! We love the hot tub in the room with caldera view, it is so romantic for couple. We will recommend to choose Ducato when visiting Oia!
