Traveling solo to Santorini was a dream, and this cave hotel made it even more special. The view was absolutely unreal — every morning I woke up to the most stunning caldera sunrise, and every evening ended with golden light washing over the island. I felt like I was living in a painting. The location was ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk to everything — cafés, little boutiques, and scenic spots perfect for wandering alone. The hotel felt like a sanctuary. The cave room was cool, cozy, and immaculately clean. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and taken care of. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always ready to help without being intrusive. This place gave me space to reflect, reset, and soak in the beauty of the island. I'll definitely be back — next time for longer! 💙

Our stay here was nothing short of exceptional, with Mario’s and Albert’s impeccable service and hospitality. Luxurious and private accommodation made our wedding night and honeymoon very memorable. We loved the hot tub and how comfortable and spacious the villa was. There are some steep stairs but they help with the bags so that was a plus. We would love to come back and stay here again.

Perfect location, beautiful cave style room and comfortable hot tub for two. Loads of space and decent privacy too. Pretty close the heart of Oia so it feels like you’re in the main hub. Absolutely loved the property and Mario makes it an even more pleasant stay. From arranging pick up to always being available for any help, highly recommend this place. No issues with safety, comfort or luxury. Will definitely return here when back in Santorini.

Overall is worthwhile and interesting experience. awesome ocean view and central location right next to the blue dome. fun experience if you don’t mind to live in a cave for a few days. The staff are very diligent, working hard and responsive.

WiFi never worked well. The shuttle ride they offered from airport to the hotel was quite expensive. the hot tub finally got hot the day we left. the mattress is okay, I think they could do better considering the price we paid for. If those points are improved still consider going back.

Host Mario was amazing! He met us as soon as we got off the bus and helped take our suitcases. He then suggested his personal favorite restaurants to visit and was always available to text if I needed anything.

The only thing was the jacuzzi. I was under the impression it would be heated so when I used it the first time I found it to be too cold for me. Also be aware it is a lot of walking so bring good walking shoes!

We were met from our taxi where our bags were carried to the apartment - this was excellent given the busy streets of Oia, steps and heat. We were then shown our cave room by Mario which was lovely, well equipped and very comfortable. Our pool and sun beds were very private and had an amazing view of the Cadera, tucked away from the crowds of Oia, yet centrally located just off the main street. Mario sorted out dinner reservations at 2 excellent restaurants and ensured we got a good table to watch the sunsets which were simply perfect (we particularly loved Dimitris). Thank you for a truly wonderful experience.

You’ve gotta do something about the stray cats. They are all over, even came into the room and shed hair all over the bed. Also dogs periodically pooped on the staid to the villas, and nobody cleans up. Perhaps you guys could take on keeping the stairs clean - walking through poop and mangy cats every time is not the entry you imagine for nice villas like these.

Location is at the centre of Oia. So thats a plus. Be mindful that there are many stairs to go down to get to the unit, so for anyone with difficulties in taking the stairs, this is something to think about. Definitely not with a wheelchair

Drinking Water was only provided for 1 day even though we stayed for 2 nights. Logically if 2 different people booked 1 night consecutively, the unit would have to provide 2 bottles. Small matter but something that can be improved. Plus bottled water is cheap anyway Internet wifi was a bit difficult to get connected in the beginning. Get help early from the staff

We were greeted at the airport, taken immediately to the meeting point in Oia where we met a member of staff who took all our bags to our deluxe villa. Mario, was waiting at the villa to give us the keys and tell us all about the villa and local area. He also gave us his telephone number so we could call him if we needed anything at all, he was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our holiday a good one. Mario also helped us book a catamaran cruise and made dinner reservations for us. He also recommended local restaurants and explained the best places for us to visit. If we return to Santorini we would have no hesitation in booking the same villa with Virginia's Cave Villas, it was a wonderful holiday.

Nothing really other than possibly the shower. The water pressure was very low but it didn't spoil the stay.

This private corner of Santorini was tucked away from the hussle and bussel of the main street of Oia. A perfect spot to unwind and relax with everything required within a 10 min walking distance. Our hosts kindly picked us up at the drop off point for taxis and back and we look forward to returning some day.

Only negative was the cleaning process on the last day, we had a couple hours left in the villa but we couldn't go outside during the cleaning of the villa's outdoors area with hosing and watering of the area we wanted to relax in during our final hours. Other than that, it was perfect.
