The best thing about the hotel is location. It is in the center, near all relevant points of interest. It is relatively old, yet quite well maintained. The breakfast is very good, with variety of food to offer. The bathroom is solid and the shower works very well. There are necessary shampoo and related amenities. We had a terrace with table and chairs, and it is very nice. Conformable beds and pillows.

There is an open cabinet for clothes, with not much space to leave your staff, yet there are several coat hangers for jackets and shirts. No kettle in the room, which would be nice to have. Little bit crowdy as it is in the crowdy boulevard. However, when you close the windows, it is OK for sleeping.

It was an excellent experience! The room was spotlessly clean and well-kept with a very pleasant smell, the housekeeping women were smiling, polite and hardworking, willing to help at any time, and in general, the hotel staff were impeccable, the view from our room was beautiful and the breakfast was also fresh and tasty. The only negative was the wi-fi which did not work very well in our room, but everything else was wonderful.

Great location for sightseeing, with close access to the airport bus X1 (E2 one way ticket). Our room was comfortable and clean, with great storage. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good with variety. Many restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location, decent breakfast, whose service starts at 6:30a.m., decent room (single), clean, with fairly comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower

Minor things: Bathroom door could really use either thorough cleaning or a coat of paint, balcony faced Egnatia street, so noise could be regarded as excessive (earplugs worked though, so issue was resolved).

The breakfast was good, the room was clean and the staff were very helpful. The hotel lies close to the city centre , the historical sights and the sea.

Although the hotel is well located with respect to the city centre and the airport bus, it lies next to very busy roads, which makes it very noisy. I had to use earplugs to be able to sleep at night even with closed windows. I had a very narrow bed, 90cm, which made me quite uncomfortable at night.

We have stayed here before. The rooms are good, the staff generally excellent. The breakfast is a solid meal not just a few rolls. It is located next to the university and the convention center, so if you are going there it is perfect. It is also reasonably close to the city center.

No USABLE wifi! The hotel employs an old fashioned wifi system where you need to do a secondary login to the hotel's network after connecting to the internet. This has so many security flaws that two different browsers refused to connect to it. I took the safer approach and did my computer work in a nearby cafe, but this was a pain. Bottom line, if you need or want internet, go someplace else. We had one unpleasant experience with the front desk, but except for it all of the staff were excellent.

I have been a customer of ABC Hotel with and without my family for the last 20 years and I can honestly say it is the best value for money in Thessaloniki. The rooms are unassuming and the décor a bit old, however it is always very clean, the staff is always very friendly, the breakfast offering is always simple but varied and tasty and the location is absolutely fantastic. I always book a room with a view of Ano Poli and the University and I am always happy to return and stay there.

I honestly don't have anything to correct - the hotel has been around for several decades now so it could do with a sprucing up in terms of décor, but that does not subtract in the least from the level of service or standards of cleanliness, so it's really immaterial whether they actualize it or not.

People, People,People *.The People who work in the hotel are amazing, welcoming serve you with simle and love. The are some things that I don't like hotel but the peolpe flip the experience to excellent level. I would like to say confidently the team in the hotel is the best compared to 4 and 5 starts hotel in EU. * services is (fast) ,smooth with( good quality). * the hotel is 3 starts but has a restaurant and room service. This is very very very rare in EUROPE. *the cleaning( house keeping )team is very helpful and extremely nice.(always offer help) *location is good.

Overall very nice hotel, on a great location in city center. Staff are really pleasant and we had a nice stay. Food at breakfast was good even though it was completely the same every day. Beds and pillows are comfortable.

Third bed in the triple room is located right next to the door which is unfortunate as you hear all the noise coming from the hallways. Lighting box is noisy so you have to take out the card and electricity at night in order to sleep.
