Breakfast was good, plenty to eat and fresh. Location was good, local transport services were good but I thing some of the distances in the description for this hotel are either as the crow flies or need reviewing. But to be fair the staff were very helpful and offered plenty of advice on the local sights.

As for the room it was comfortable but the room got very hot at night and we discovered on the second night the air con wasn't working. To try and be more comfortable we opened the window at night but this interupped our sleep due to the noise of the passing traffic at night. We did raise the issue with the desk the next morning but was told it was faulty and couldn't be repaired.

The location was great for us since it was close to the park below the Castle District. We stayed three different times during our17 day trip to Hungary. It was our Budapest 'base.' The most comfortable bed was in the Tower room. The other two rooms had very firm beds. If you like firm beds you're in luck. They have private parking but it costs $15/day. Parking is available on the street. Free at night, but paid during the day and only for 3 hours. Breakfast was very good with a variety of vegetables, breads, pastries, yogurt, cereal, fruit, bacon, sausage and eggs. The espresso was typically strong. They also had a coffee machine which was OK. Overall we liked this place and staff was very king and helpful!

Two of our rooms had very firm beds. My husband can usually sleep on most anything but even he said it was a bit firm for him.

Cosy hotel with friendly, professional and helpful staff. Possibility of parking in the parking lot in the yard with a gate and video surveillance. Although at an important transport junction, windows fully dampen noise. Air conditioning fully functional. Room relatively small for three people but beds for all comfortable. No cleaning problems. Functional, easy-to-use safe. Breakfast rich, corresponding to the European standard buffet. Within 100 m stop several bus lines to the center. Buda Castle, Gellért Hill (citadel under renovation!) and the Rudas and Gellért baths within walking distance.

We really liked this hotel,It has a really charming interior and quiet,cosy rooms. Temperature in the hotel is just right. Best part were the employees,lovely blond older lady at the reception,the cleaning staff,he young blackhaired waitress were really helpfull and polite. If we are ever again in Budapest we shall come to this lovely establishment.

Wi fi was not that good.

this old fashion styled hotel is located in Buda, not far from the castle and the fishermen's bastion. Furthermore the bus stop to go on the other side of the river is reachable in few mins on foot. we booked and apartment which was annexed to the hotel. it was clean and cozy and the beds very comfortable. the staff was very friendly and nice

the hairdryer didn't work at all....

The hotel's location is quite good, in the hills of Buda region, with a nice variety of restaurants and cityscapes over the Pest region just nearby. The hotel itself is a nice villa, with it's private limited parking lot, nice comfortable rooms with carpeted floors. The area is quite quiet. The staff, overall, were nice and serviable.

The staff was really nice, apart for a lady at the reception desk just as we arrived, quite arrogant, trying to convince me not to pay with bank card and saying she is unable to provide me with an invoice on the company, as the reservation and payment was made on Booking.com. Happily, she was just ending her shift and the man that followed her shift was kind and serviable and happily offered me the invoice, no questions asked.

The staff was great and helpfull. Nice small hotel with great conection to the city centar! Great terace outside! There is always somebody on the recepction so it is very safe to stay there.

Everything was great, maybe just a little small breakfast but you can still eat good. Plane food nothing fansy, but still nice and good

Quite place, close to some of the main attractions you could walk to buda castle, rudas thermal bath, chains bridge;in any case there was a bus stop in 5 minutes, so good position.Good breakfast, very friendly staff.

Room was a little small and the whole place looks a little bit old fashion.

It was a very nice, cozy and clean hotel with very good placement, only a few minutes from the city center. The staff was very nice and welcoming, the property had parking on site, clean rooms, minibar, air conditioning, tv and a clean bathroom. Already planning our second stay at the hotel!

We liked everything

The hotel is very well located, 20mins by foot to centre and the bus stop is right next to the hotel. We were amazed by the approach of the staff to our dog. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The breakfasts were very well served and varied.

The only disadvantage could be the rush from the main street.
