Before I booked this hotel for my vacation, I've read all kinds of reviews most of which were bad. However upon arriving at the hotel I was quickly convinced otherwise. The room was very nice, freshly decorated and furnished (the furniture still had brand new labels on it). All the appliances in the room were working as promised. The staff were really doing an exceptional job at keeping my room clean and tidy every day. If you're traveling on a budget and don't mind not being in the very centre of Budapest, I would highly recommend booking with them.

The only thing that was true from the bad reviews previously was that the carpets were old and stained,but clean. Keep in mind that the hotel is currently being renovated and improved. Also having in mind the price range of the hotel, the location is more than satisfactory.

Breakfast was adequate, staff was supper nice and super helpful. Room was warm and cozy, the bed was comfortable as well. Location wasn't great as such for tourists, but it was super close to where I needed to be for work.

The central heating was on and off sometimes during the day, and there was no hot water at times as well. Hotel might need some renovation in the near future, but it's really not bad. Other than that, I have no complaints as the service as a whole was really good, especially for the price.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect. They were always available to assist with any questions or requests, and their friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. The room itself was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially during the hot days, and it worked perfectly throughout my stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room was equipped with all the amenities I needed. Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail, the excellent service, and the overall ambiance made my stay truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend Hotel Amadeus to anyone looking for a nice hotel experience. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Budapest!

I first started using hotel Amadeus about 10 years ago when I came to the dentist. It was always full, buzzy and busy, with great breakfast and even a sauna. It’s about 5 years since I was last here and it’s sad to see the effects of the covid cold. The country restrictions meant a lack of tourists and dental clients, which means they obviously had to minimise staff. Notwithstanding the disruption of the last 2.5 years, Hotel Amadeus is my home when I’m in Budapest. The staff are the best, the rooms are huge complete with sofa and writing table, the beds are comfy and I love the big white cotton duvet they give you. I have a balcony, and a good breakfast. The staff go beyond to help you. Across the road there is a shop open 24/7 snd a van that sells chicken. You can eat the food that you have brought in from outside in their restaurant. Thank you Anna and Lazlo for always making my stay at Amadeus great. These lockdowns have brought untold problems to normal people and I get angry just thinking about it. Well done Hotel Amadeus for always being fantastic despite the madness that we all have had to endure.

It's always hard to rate a property if you get an extreme bargain. So, I personally not just took advantage of a remarkably good weekend price but ended up in an incredibly cute rooftop apartment since the a/c in room failed. A chain of events much in my favour. Obviously I was quite happy with my stay. But the 8 is deserved generally.

The hotel is very nice and decent. The location is quite good, 30-40mins walk from Puskas Ferenc Stadium which is great if you are visiting an event there like we did. It has a pastry shop and a grocery store a cross the street, a free parking available plus the hotel has its own underground parking and a bus/train stop right in front of it. The staff is very friendly and communicative. The room is decent and clean, nice beds and it has air conditioning. The hotel also has a bar and a restaurant which we didn’t try. If you are looking a place to stay a few nights, this is the spot!

Walls are a bit thin so you can hear your neighbors and our room had a shared terrace which is not so bad but some people may not like it.

It was very comfertable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very nice and the wifi was fast, the shower was great same with the toilet. Overall everything was great and the staff said thet have yet to renew the building too and ofcourse very affordable for the location.

Hotel is in the peacful part of the City. Metro station is only one bus station away from the hotel. In front of the Hotel You have a bus in every 3-5 minutes. 24h/7 store is a cross from the Hotel. Personel in the Hotel is great, hospitality is 10+.. You can use free parking space.

Nice, clean room. The hotel is about 6 kilometers from the city center, but there is public transportation available right in front of the hotel. So the location is great, free open parking available in front of the hotel.

Everything was Ok. I didn't have a meal plan. I can't comment on the food.
