The location of the hotel is convenient: within walking distance, one may find a big mall, a McDonald's, a good exchange office, a market. As I like to explore the city on foot, it was not too long to reach the Brigade street with lots of shops, the Cubbon park, Vidhana Soudha, etc. You may always take an auto-rickshaw to get further. The personnel was very friendly. The continental breakfast was cute (the scrambled eggs was heart-shaped), the fruits were delicious. And the overall interior was reminiscent of the colonial times - a very large room with wooden furniture and everything.

The ironing board could be a bit fresher. The view from the windows was not the strongest advantage of the room, so the curtains were closed all the time, which however added style to the room. And sometimes occasional visits by insects were observed which I would not like to meet in such a welcoming place which is by the way not so cheap. But maybe that was just a vision. :)

It is a formula that is that of a hotel with apartments and where breakfast was served in the room. Whoever is in charge of this service, we were able to get a breakfast service sometimes very early when we asked for it. Each time it was granted to us without any problem. Kindness and attention have always been the order of the day. The rooms are large and very quiet. We can leave the windows open without being disturbed by the noise.

The furniture may be a little dated but the hotel was making a big effort to renew.

Super location, great staff, quiet place even though its close to the heart of town. A little old-ish property, but the place is clean, well-maintained, and the food is good.

The bathrooms need a deep clean - nothing wrong with them per se, but the hard water stains are visible, the tiles are faded. A paint job might help too.

I was thrilled to get an upgrade. The room was spacious with a well equipped pantry. The location is so quiet and peaceful that I had a sound sleep. The staff was extremely courteous & helpful.

The rooms and homely like feeling and the breakfast was kind of awesome and choice of your own and loved the hospitality

-Location is central and everything is easily accessible. -wifi connected well, for the most part. -Bathroom and shower pressure were good. -Deluxe rooms are very big and come with a fridge, kettle, microwave as well as a kitchen style sink. It was very convenient for my family to hang out in the city or have a fun night in the room. -Bed was very comfortable and big, and the room was was well lit thanks to many windows. -Staff was very accomodating to our special needs, and answered our thousand queries without any fuss. -Room service menu is quite elaborate. Delicious breakfast (which was a fantastic surprise after the terrible breakfast at Jüsta MG Road: their other property where we stayed one night). -Value for money* *I was upgraded from a Luxury room to a Deluxe room for free, thanks to my Booking Level 3 status. The luxury rooms themselves are too small for the tariff.

The only reason I am giving this property a 9 and not 10 is because the staff was too pushy. We had a guest for the evening and they kept calling every hour to ask when he would leave for the night (well before 11pm). Moreover, even at the start of breakfast time, they called the room to push us to order the food immediately. If the breakfast timings are set from 8-10, why push the guests to order at 8:30? Although the staff fulfilled our request for food around 9:45, they did bother us with multiple calls before. The staff just needs some training to be less pushy and let the guest make decisions within the limits set by the hotel.

Had a wonderful experience with zero issues, including great room service, room size and quality and location access.

Minor quib is that I hope they provide refillable water bottles/containers rather than bottled plastic water bottles

It could have been better and also for non veg families. Secondly they should serve breakfast in garden restaurant in buffet style.
